President Joe Biden is set to issue an executive order on Friday forming a bipartisan commission that will perform a 180-day study of potential changes to the Supreme Court, including court packing and setting term limits for justices. “The Commission’s purpose is to provide an analysis of the principal arguments in the contemporary public debate for and against Supreme Court reform, including an appraisal of the merits and legality of particular reform proposals,” the White House said in a statement. “The topics it will examine include the genesis of the reform debate; the Court’s role in the Constitutional system

Earlier today, Joe Biden announced he was signing an executive order creating a “bipartisan” commission to explore ‘reforming’ the Supreme Court.
As we explained, the commission would be looking at all kinds of possible revisions to the Court, including court packing. The commission would consider “the length of service and turnover of justices on the Court; the membership and size of the Court; and the Court’s case selection, rules, and practices.” In other words, Biden and the Democrats would look at all kinds of things they could do to politicize the one branch of government which was explicitly created not to be political.

Many conservatives are pushing back hard against a series of executive orders on firearms that the Biden administration announced on Wednesday. I don’t doubt that Biden would ban or severely limit private gun ownership if he could, but what is striking about these specific orders is how trivial they are.
Biden frames his actions in terms of gun violence being a “public health epidemic.” He refers to the recent Boulder and Atlanta shootings, and says that “cities across the country are in the midst of a historic spike in homicides….” Ironically, that is true. But why? Not because of any lack of firearms laws and regulations, which are legion.
Amazon workers at the company's warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama have voted against forming what would have been the first-ever Amazon workers' union in the US.
Votes are still being counted, but 72% of the ballots counted 71% voted have already voted no, giving Amazon the majority, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.
