What Crisis? NASA Asks Employees To House
Unaccompanied Migrant Children

Original Article

Biden spokesperson Jen Psaki has repeatedly told reporters that there is no crisis at the border. There is no surge at the border, people are merely “presenting” at the border. They aren’t keeping kids in cages at the border, they are keeping them in “soft-sided structures” that they can’t leave. While the people currently running this country have become the living embodiment of a CNN “mostly peaceful protests” meme, the crisis has continued to grow exponentially with no end in site. The Biden Administration is rumored to be in a bit of chaos behind the scenes as they struggle to message the deluge of illegal aliens

NASA is the best agency to ask for help during this crisis. They could load up the largest rocket they have with them and launch it toward Mars. While they are at it load as many of the left wing crazies as they can cram in and maybe our country can return to some sort of normalcy !!!

I am with you, #8. It boggles my mind. Can you even for one second imagine the braying donkeys’ outrage if President Trump had ever had anything nearing this humanitarian crisis while he was in office? They would have immediately started impeachment proceedings on the basis of national security and crimes against humanity. Now that I think about it, it would not be a bad idea. Bring on the charges Republicans. Make the democrats defend this abomination. Make some noise. Use the same tactics on them. We sit around playing Tiddlywinks while the democrats are engaged in war. It’s no wonder we are losing.

At what point does a manager's "request" to employees become a "mandate?" Will NASA (or potentially other federal agencies), when an employee refuses to "volunteer" to become a foster parent to illegal immigrants retaliate in any way if the employee refuses? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this program could quickly become abusive. As Lyin' Joe would say - "C'mon man."

Either inside fences or plastic barriers, the children are still being confined. If anything, the plastic barriers are worse because there is no air circulation trapping germs inside them. At least with fences there is air circulation. It may look prettier, but it is a more germ rich space.

A better idea is to require Border Patrol Agents, who all have at least a working knowledge of speaking and understanding the Spanish language, to each bring a couple of “illegal alien” kids home with them. Especially illegal alien males claiming to be about 17 years old to live with their families that have younger teenage girls. What could go wrong with a liberal idea like that?

Housing illegals in private homes reminds me of the old Soviet Union. The Red Party demanded that Russians house migrants in their spare bedrooms. They show this HORROR in the movie "Doctor Zhivago". Instead of being grateful, the migrants urinated into their soups and molested there daughters. This is what Biden and his HO are planning for America?

The headline is misleading relative to the article (no mention of taking them into private homes) and the article is nothing new. The Biden Administration and DHS, which is made up of many component agencies with various missions, began asking for volunteers to work at the border back in February. Even under Trump, DHS sought and deployed voluntary detailees from agencies across the department to work at the southern border and help staff holding/processing facilities. Why not use Health & Human Services employees and why has the administration waited until now to do so? It would seem that the border work is more in line with the H&HS mission than a function of TSA's or Coast Guard's, both DHS component agencies, mission. Re: #2 - I have taken in a few stray dogs in my lifetime, including a mangy, tick-infested puppy, and spent hours bathing him and pulling the ticks off. He became the most loved and remarkable pet of my lifetime. Depending on the circumstances (e.g., legally processed and health screened), I could see the Good Lord smiling on efforts to help dirty little kids, even housing them. The Christmas story comes to mind, despite the fact that I'm in no way a left-leaner.

From the letter: "This opportunity provides a continuum of care for children, including placements in foster care, shelter and residential care providers that provide temporary housing and to assist with caring for and placing children without legal immigration status…" What role is NASA being asked to play here? It's not clear what "opportunity" employees are being asked to consider. Are they to be administrators, placement specialists, or baby sitters? Here is yet another reason why no one should take CNN seriously. The same network that has accused the GOP of “genocide” and ending the country” for violence from Trump supporters on January 6, spent this morning defending a Democrat for what many would call, openly encouraging violence from left-wing protesters (while intimidating a jury!) California Democrat Maxine Waters went to Minneapolis this weekend to encourage Black Lives Matter protesters to ignore curfews and get more “confrontational” if the jury does not find Derek Chauvin, guilty of murder. As we reported yesterday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was in Brooklyn Center at a BLM protest. She demanded a guilty verdict from the jurors at the Chauvin trial and urged protesters to be “more confrontational,” saying people “need to know that we mean business.” After she made her comments Saturday night, members of the National Guard who were patrolling with police in Minneapolis were shot at. Two were slightly injured in the incident — one from flying glass, and the other had superficial injuries. Many Republicans blasted her actions, decrying that a member of Congress would behave in that manner.

This is the kind of survey liberals loathe. Not that the rest of us don’t already know they’re the most miserable people on the face of the earth, of course, but when the survey is the University of Chicago’s General Social Survey, an ongoing survey of Americans conducted since 1972, which The New York Times describes as a “widely used resource” and “the scholarly gold standard for understanding social phenomena,” that’s gotta leave a mark. This isn’t some “agenda-driven” Fox News-funded survey generated for the purpose of creating news and making liberals look bad. This baby comes from the no-longer-hallowed halls of academia.

Dr. Anthony Fauci opined Sunday about the surge of gun violence in the United States and described the spike in shootings as an issue of public health. Speaking to CNN host Dana Bash on “State of the Union,” Fauci was asked to comment on whether he believes gun violence is a public health emergency. “Myself, as a public health person, I think you can’t run away from that,” Fauci replied. “When you see people getting killed, I mean, in this last month it’s just been horrifying what’s happened. How can you say that’s not a public health issue?"

Joe Biden has warned Putin there will be consequences if critic Alexei Navalny is allowed to die in jail as doctors warn his health is failing amid hunger strike. US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Sunday that Biden is weighing up a range of responses if Navalny dies, and that Moscow is aware of the threat. Meanwhile EU leaders said sanctions placed on Russia earlier this year could be increased if Navalny perishes, with a summit to discuss the issue on Monday. It comes after Yaroslav Ashikhmin, a doctor acting on behalf of Navalny's family, said test results received from the Russian penal colony

But roughly one-third of Americans believe combating climate change can wait. According to CBS News, the people who feel this way point to four reasons: 36% say climate change is exaggerated, 31% say there are other more pressing issues, 23% believe

Remember Pauline Kael? She's the famous Manhattan film critic who apocryphally said that she couldn't understand how anyone could vote to re-elect President Nixon in 1972, because she didn't know anyone. (Actually -- she did know one, but lost track of him.) She "lived in a rather special world," as she put it. Well, the New York Times still lives there, and appears to like being mired in the same Mr. Magooism. Latest nonsense from those heights comes from a big data-journalism-driven piece with three bylines and four contributors on vaccine hesitancy around the U.S., concluding that it's all those troglodytes who voted for President Trump

President Biden Friday demanded the Republicans in the Senate move on passing gun background check legislation, calling the string of mass shootings and gun violence a "national embarrassment." Biden pushed the Senate to take a vote on House-passed legislation that would expand background checks and close certain loopholes. "I strongly, strongly urge my Republican friends in the Congress who refuse to bring up the House-passed bill to bring it up now," Biden said. "This has to end. It's a national embarrassment."

Rioting is a frequent phenomenon, complete with a professional traveling cadre that moves into a city when a spark ignites anger – as most recently happened in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. (snip) Poor Blacks burning their own neighborhoods hurts the (nonprofessional) rioters and their families and is a burden that does not affect most people. It also doesn’t win a lot of friends among the supposedly oppressed people the itinerant professional rioters seek to lead. Now, we are seeing signs that the urge to riot will be directed from above at the affluent and comfortable, a property destruction analog of the slogan “Eat the rich”
