Nothing to see here: DHS deletes
announcement of terror suspects
arrested at border

Original Article

Homeland Security has removed the press release announcing the arrest of two Yemeni men on the terrorist watch list. The release was posted Monday, but by Tuesday morning it was no longer available. An archived version is still available at the Internet Archive. The deletion sparked questions on Capitol Hill. “Why did you take down your previously public tweet & press release announcing that two people on the terror watch list were apprehended exploiting President Biden’s open border policies?” demanded the Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee. “Transparency in name alone is not transparency,” said the Republicans, who are led by ranking member Rep. John Katko.

And just like that, the border problems were solved. Any claims to the contrary are unpatriotic, baseless, and unfounded.

Might these be the two who are ALWAYS on the FBI 'watch list' before they commit some horrible act of terrorism, or are these another 2?

Where is Kamala "Heel Up" Harris? Any comment? Is she dedicating her time on keeping an eye on the VP mansion renovation project? Is the swimming pool to her liking?

The Pennsylvania Department of State has agreed to remove more than 20,000 dead voters from the state’s voting rolls in a settlement reached with an election-integrity group. The state agreed to compare its voter-registration database with the Social Security Death Index, directing all county election commissioners to remove the names of dead voters. “This marks an important victory for the integrity of elections in Pennsylvania,” said J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which sued the state in October.(Snip) The lawsuit argued that hundreds of these dead voters showed up with post-death voting credits in 2016 and 2018.

Hamdayet, Sudan—The atrocities have been seared into the skin and minds of Tigrayans, who shelter by the thousands within sight of the homeland they fled in northern Ethiopia. They arrive in heat that soars above 100 F, carrying the pain of gunshot wounds, torn vaginas, welts on beaten backs. Less visible are the memories: Dozens of bodies strewn on riverbanks. Fighters raping a woman one by one for speaking her own language. A child, weakened by hunger, left behind. Now, for the first time, they also bring proof of an official attempt at what is being called ethnic cleansing in the form of

A federal review of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s widely panned LaGuardia Airport AirTrain project accused officials of using “arbitrary” criteria to ensure the plan was chosen above all others—and concluded the railway would likely be slower than just driving there, newly revealed documents show. Emails and documents obtained by environmental group Riverkeeper this week through a freedom of information request show Federal Aviation Administration officials in 2019 peppered the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey with concerns about its rationale for rejecting alternatives to the pricey project—even though the feds are now poised to green-light it.

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said the group is mourning its “brother” who died assaulting Capitol cops last week—saying the cop killer could have been a future “star” for the movement. The USS Constitution is one of the country's first frigates and is the oldest commissioned warship still afloat. It was launched in 1797 in Boston, Massachusetts, and now sits in Baltimore Harbor. Left-wing Hollywood stars Debra Messing and Piper Perabo are threatening a boycott of Southwest Airlines over the carrier’s refusal to condemn Texas’ election integrity bill, which the state’s senate passed last week. Politico first reported Wednesday that the new measure — one of several “common sense” gun reforms Biden has promised to take — will require people purchasing “ghost guns,” homemade firearms without serial numbers, to undergo a federal background check. It remains unclear how many specific actions Biden is expected to take on guns, but reporting indicates the president will also seek to close the “Charleston Loophole,” which allows licensed dealers to transfer firearms to buyers before a background check is completed.

That doesn’t mean we won’t regain most of the freedoms we lost over the past year. It just means we’ll have to be extra careful far longer than we’d like.
