Noah Green caught on camera buying
$300 knife before deadly Capitol attack

Noah Green, the suspect in last week’s deadly vehicle-ramming incident outside the U.S. Capitol, can be seen in newly released surveillance footage shopping for a knife similar to the one in his possession during the attack. Green, 25, was shot and killed Friday near the U.S. Capitol after police say he drove his car into two officers at a security checkpoint and then lunged at another while brandishing a large knife.(Snip) District Cutlery owner Derek Swanson said Green spent 22 minutes in his shop before purchasing a $300 culinary knife that matches the one police say the suspect was armed with during the attack.

Comments:

Anyone can walk in and buy an Assault Knife, just like that, maybe even using an EBT card. And get into their Assault Car and crash into victims.

I don't think journalists understand the concept of proof-reading, or are too stupid to understand English: "Mr. Green said he provided copies of the surveillance footage to both the FBI and the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department."

To casually spend $300 on a knife where one can be bought at Walmart for $12.99, strongly suggest to me this guy had financial support from some Islamic sect.

I've purchased some replica Bowie knifes for around 50 bucks. But, $ 300. Did it come with a lifetime warranty? (For the knife, terrorists have shorter warranties.)

It was the car he used to do the the killing, not the knife. The only thing the knife did was fall to the ground after he was shot. I'm still trying to figure out why the officers were in front of the barrier, instead of behind it. That car didn't even chip the paint on that barrier.

This strikes a bit to close to home for me. District Cutlery is a stand in an upscale gourmet marketplace called Union Market (if you do an Internet search you can see pictures of it). My wife and I have bought knives there before and we have brought knives in to be sharpened by the owner, who we have gotten to know. Yes, you can buy a knife at Walmart for considerably less, but this place specializes in high-end cutlery. In addition to German brands, he sells a large number of Japanese knives that only he has been able to access from that country. They can run to $300 quite easily. Also, they are wicked sharp and you have to be very careful if you own them. I shudder to think about what it must have been like to be attacked with one.

Miami—El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele refused to meet with a visiting senior U.S. diplomat this week over what he sees as a pattern of slights from Democrats and the Biden administration, according to two aides of the Central American leader. Bukele's decision not to meet with Ricardo Zuniga, the Biden administration's envoy to the so-called Northern Triangle countries of Central America, follows a similar snub he allegedly received from U.S. officials during an unannounced trip to Washington in February. It also comes just days after Bukele's government awarded $1.2 million lobbying contract to the State Department's former top career diplomat

Nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children were nabbed jumping the border in March, Homeland Security revealed Thursday, doubling the number from February and shattering the previous record of about 11,500, set in May 2019. The children were only a fraction of the total of 172,331 illegal immigrant encounters recorded last month by Homeland Security, with about 168,000 of those nabbed by the Border Patrol. That’s the highest monthly number in 20 years. Of those, about 103,000 people were expelled under coronavirus pandemic emergency orders, but the unaccompanied children and tens of thousands more parents and children traveling as families were not able to be expelled under current policies.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) Wednesday signed an executive order to “mitigate the impact” of Georgia’s new election integrity law, known as The Election Integrity Act of 2021. The new election bill that Georgia Gov. Although Georgia has received widespread criticism from a number of corporations, Kemp said he was moving forward with his decision to sign the bill into law.

It’s not three months into a four-year term, but Joe Biden’s presidency is already heading for the rocks. Surging waves of immigrants have overwhelmed the U.S.’ southern border. With public anger growing, Biden now has been forced to tacitly recognize President Donald Trump’s border success. Just this week, Biden let it be known he’s considering restarting Trump’s border wall construction — just to “fill in” parts of it, his administration says. Right. In fact, it’s desperation because the Biden-Democrat open border policy has been an epic disaster, one that could result in huge Democratic losses in 2022 and a lame-duck presidency

On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced new executive actions on gun control, trying to limit “ghost guns” and to make it easier for people to flag their own family members who shouldn’t be allowed to purchase firearms. In announcing his gun restrictions, Biden specifically addressed the Second Amendment. While Biden insisted that none of his gun control measures impinged on the Second Amendment, he also insisted that “no amendment to the Constitution is absolute.” “Nothing, nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment. They’re phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake for what we’re talking about,” he argued. Then came the key statement:
