Fauci’s Fall from Grace Began a

One year ago today, an article of mine at American Thinker became a flashpoint of mainstream media coverage and criticism. Before one week had passed, my article was referenced, including with links to it and me in four major articles at the Washington Post, two in the New York Times... Politico, Vanity Fair, Buzzfeed, New York Magazine, and others. (snip) The reason for all this fuss was that I was the first one in the national media to challenge the media-driven image of Dr. Anthony Fauci as a sage and a savior, a man whose commands to shut down the nation must be obeyed

It should be noted that Fauci was a creation of the MSM. Fauci is preoccupied with self promotion, but it has been the MSM that made him out to be some all-knowing expert rock star. Just more proof that we cannot trust anything the MSM tells us.

Fauci is one of those many faceless bureaucrats who infest the halls of government. He alone has done more harm to the country and its citizens than any of the duly elected officials. It is a huge mistake to allow unelected bureaucrats to publicly address the people in the name of the government; his adivce should be given privately to those elected to represent the people. This is especially true of those who provide the President with data and technical device. This is necessary because the policy makers have to consider advice and information from different areas of expertise and hopefully provide decisions that are in consideration of the broad spectrum of potential consequences. For example, pandemic policy should be inclusive of medical effects, economic effects, international effects, etc. When a prima donna like Fauci gets directly involved, the ultimate decision is inappropriately skewed to the detriment of the national interest. When an egotistical megalomaniac like Fauci, who is also incompetent, gains the public ear, it can be disastrous, and in the case of the current pandemic, it was and is disastrous.

I seem to remember a story where he is credited with moving the whole "Bat Flu" research thing over to China, while retaining U.S. funding. I'm not sure if that allegation was proven or not, but if true his "Fall" began longer than the public perception of him. If the Wuhan Flu was developed and used by the Chinese to aid Democrat Political Objectives, then Fauci may be a traitor of humanity on the order of Mendel, of Nazi Germany fame. We may eventually relabel this thing, the Fauci Flu...

Fall from grace? The man is alleged to have invested in the Covid vaccine a year before it left China; the man was allowed to single handedly destroy the largest US economy; the media and Marxists have deified his every word, even when it changes to the exact opposite from one day to another. He is an unelected bureaucrat and every. single. one. of them have unconstitutional powers to destroy the nation and they do just that while they get paid full wages and benefits to be locked down, some of them now in dresses in their transgendered smugness. Fauci will retire an extremely wealthy man, untouched by any of his incompetence. That is hardly falling from grace, being a graceless unelected boob himself.

Well #3, Fauci was involved in the development of the Chinese virus with the funding of that Chinese lab. So he knew at some point a virus would be developed. They wanted to create a tough virus so they could learn how to fight it in case just such a virus came about naturally. Like another outbreak like the Spanish flu from 1917.

Reply to gone2pot. Fauci has experienced a "fall from grace" from Republicans and people who can think for themselves. One year ago at this time, very few people - including few conservatives - were aware of what he was doing. Now, according to Frank Luntz's focus group and other metrics, conservatives see through him.

Fauci should have been thrown out of Trump's office on the first day he recommended shutting down the U.S. economy, and frankly fired. The man is a Democrat. His emails flattery to Hillary says so. His efforts to undermine Trump say so. Fauci funded the virus research, after even Obama told him to stop, that it was too dangerous. Fauci should be hung as a traitor. He has done tremendous damage to this country, including murdering millions of its citizens.

Fauci (which is, in my opinion, the Latin plural of Doctor Faustus) is over 80 years old and was paid, according to many sources, almost $418,000 in taxpayer funds in 2019 --- making him the highest paid Federal employee out of over 4 million! How many 80 year-olds deserve this much attention? He's lived his life ... shut up and let the next generation live theirs. Exactly what has this man done --- other than constantly contradict himself and thereby wreak havoc? He is so-o-o full of himself and his ego now is so overblown if we stuck a pin in him would he explode like a party balloon or fizzle out like a soccer ball? #7 -- The mainstream media is just now beginning to wake up to the almost infinite negative effects of the reaction -- overreaction that is, although don't expect the left to ever admit that no matter how strong the evidence becomes -- to Covid-19. The more clear-minded among us saw the devastating effects to small businesses, education (!!!), mental health, every health issue that isn't Covid (a virtually infinite list all by itself), and so much more long ago. One is inclined to wonder how many of the people who bought into the politics of fear really are that stupid and how many were willing to diminish and destroy countless lives to advance a leftist and perhaps ultimately totalitarian government.

I think Fauci is mostly interested in his growing fortune as a result of this madness....masks, hand sanitizers, and especially "vaccines". His investments really need to be looked at very closely. He wants people to continue wearing masks even after being vaccinated! Why? Masks are a booming business, obviously. He, and others, would of course prefer to see masking go on for as long as the uninformed sheep will comply "with the science".

I recently wrote a column wherein I accused the American Left and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Democrat party, of using Fascist or Nazi tactics in their determination to permanently transform the nation into a one-party hybrid socialist state by exploiting nonexistent “systemic racism” and baseless fears of “white supremacy.” This characterization did not set well with the gullible and self-righteous Democrat voters I know (snip) any thoughtful and unemotional examination of the tactics the Nazi Party used to gain and maintain power in the 1920’s and 30’s will reveal numerous stark similarities to those being used by the left and the Democrat Party today.
