They came as siblings, parents, spouses, and friends. Families of more than a dozen Minnesotans killed by police gathered Friday before the trial of Derek Chauvin to demand a murder conviction in the death of George Floyd. If guilty, Chauvin would be the first former police officer to be convicted of murdering a Black man in Minnesota. The state's only ex-cop currently in prison for murdering a civilian is Mohamed Noor, who in 2019 was sentenced to 12 years in prison for fatally shooting Justine Damond after she called 911 to report a possible rape. Floyd got justice; what he really needed was mercy.

Shocking that in all of these cases Grand Juries or Prosecutors declined to prosecute the cop. All these families aren't really looking for real justice, they just want a pay off and are playing the race and victim card to the hilt. This is another communist death democrat set up to bolster their BS claim of systemic racism which is just another tool in their totalitarian tool box.
George Floyd was a career criminal who died from an overdose of Fentanyl and a few other drugs racing around in his body. Fact.
If this leads to violence by the commies then it is up to Minneapolis to deal with it. Time that all these democrat hell holes take responsibility for their actions and suffer the consequences. You get what you vote for. Deal with it.

You would think that the relatives of other people not related to the incident in question and that police officer would not have “standing” to intervene in that trial. We have heard that word “Standing” a lot lately.
If the officer is found not guilty after a jury trial you can imagine what is going to happen on the streets of Minneapolis, especially since certain violent groups have had a lot of time to plan how they will proceed.

Justice?? This is about the Benjamins and getting a cop. It has nothing to justice.

Sorry they are gone, but ya know, if they would have just done what the police said to do, they'd still be collecting gummint benefits and could use their Obamaphones....

Chauvin did his job. Justice would be stopping this persecution now.

Garraway's fiancé, Justin Teigen, was found dead in a recycling truck that had emptied the dumpster he was in following a chase with St. Paul police in 2009. An autopsy determined that Teigen had died of mechanical compression in the truck, and noted complications that included "acute alcohol intoxication" and a minor head injury from a recent vehicle accident. But Garraway believes police beat her fiancé and threw him into the dumpster.
The fact that "journalists" would straight-faced report this garbage shows how vested the media are in inciting violence and destroying our communities. They are not observers; they are instigators.

What about the African-Americans being shot to death in south Chicago? Where is the concern for these victims? Sadly, it's not about those who are being shot to death; it's about who is doing the shooting.

The actual evidence overwhelmingly proves that Floyd died of a massive narcotic drugs overdose - - and the police actions had nothing to do with it.
That's the evidence - - but let's see what the kangaroo court does with it.

Floyd ODed on illegal drugs all by himself. The officers had zero part in his death, other than valiantly attempting to prevent his dying by summoning an ambulance and preventing him from continuing to harm himself when he started beating his head on the ground.
Chauvin should walk free, did nothing wrong, is innocent of even the slightest wrong doing.

JUSTICE?
I bought into this, initially, when I saw that guy with his knee on that guy’s head; but the bottom line is that is exactly according to what the Minneapolis Police Department manual said to do.
Besides which the guy was all jacked up on drugs and that’s the reason he died, not because of his treatment by the police.
The man died in custody, not because of that custody.
That’s all there is to it. That’s what the evidence shows. At least so far. And I don’t think there’s anything new coming.

I just never cared about any of this. Floyd was a druggy and a criminal who apparently felt the law didn't apply to him. As far as I'm concerned, it was a happy ending for society.

We lived in suburban Minneapolis 1980-1984. Found it to be the safest most family friendly area we ever lived in. Hundreds of parents and onlookers would stand outside in zero degree weather watching the mites play hockey outdoors. In one generation this has all changed. Would not care to move back there now. Liberalism is in their blood and it has destroyed a wonderful place.

Liberals who refuse the bible usually say that Jesus' miracle were the result of curing mental illness, rather than physical disability. But they forget that mental illness is incurable.
The in-curability of mental illness as something to remember while reading the article.

If truth be told, you might find that some of these relatives are relieved that their "loved one" is dead and they don't have to deal with them anymore.

Floyd is a dead black criminal that the rest of the black rioting criminals made a hero of.
They used him on their free riot shopping and burning spree and if the officer is found not guilty they will go on another black riot and shopping spree.

Mr. Floyd was already dying of a drug overdose. If those families really wanted justice, they would campaign to get rid of the opioids which caused the guy's death in the first place. Another thing those families could do is to stop expecting that free pass when their relatives commit crimes, some crimes very violent and shocking in nature. It is called personal responsibility and they and their community need to start taking an interest in that subject for a change. Stop expecting that free pass from the rest of us. Don't want to do the time? Don't do the crime, and stop blaming the rest of us because you choose to be a thug.

The knee neck hold was not in a position to cut off air nor to cut off brain blood flow.
You can only cut off air at the front of the neck. That's not where the "knee" was. Try it on yourself.
It doesn't look like the knee was on the jugular. Even if there was a pinch on the jugular there is still another jugular on the other side and the two of them join together at the base of the brain. So the only way to cut off blood is to pinch both jugulars at the same time.
In fact the knee on back of neck hold seems like a very effective and least traumatizing way to hold someone who is out of control.
He was overdosing on fentanyl which slows the heart until the brain dies from lack of oxygenated blood.
He was overdosing on meth which speeds the heart until it stops pumping effectively and the brain dies from lack of oxygenated blood.
The meth was keeping him from immediately dying from the fentanyl.
The fentanyl was keeping him from immediately dying from the meth.
Eventually that balance wore out and one of the them dominated.

OK Minneapolis. Collect up your insurance money and get some fresh paint on all the "black" businesses that got looted and burned. Freshly painted businesses burn better
Then see what your next insurance policy will cost if you can get one. Then again you got paid for your entire stock in one day. Call it a Black Friday Sale.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Disband the EVIL POLICE.

They're going to be disappointed when it's found that the police used restraining techniques they were trained to use, and Floyd was coked to the gills at the time of his arrest.
