I won't hold my breath waiting for the MSM to investigate what "plan" unarmed social workers are supposed to follow when attacked by a gang of violent residents. His family has every right to know how this happened. Democrats told us police are the problem, and that social workers can de escalate dangerous situations better than cops. That might be true at times, if the social worker is accompanied by an armed officer. The family and the public deserve answers. Who sent this young man on this mission, and why was he not accompanied by a police officer?

No worries! They'll all be out by noon. We release prisoners here in CA because of COVID. Don't care what they're "in for". Governor "Recall" Newsom wants every prisoner free and every free man/woman (can't forget that) incarcerated. This state is so backward, these adults are called "juvies". Poor babies, didn't have enough coloring books so they had to beat up one of the good guys who try to help them. God help us all! Really!!! Everything that is wrong is right and everything that is good is bad. We're living in the biblical age of the Judges. Every man/woman does what is right in his/her own eyes. Americans looked on in shock Wednesday as a calm protest turned into an angry mob that swarmed past barriers and stormed the Capitol — spraying officers with chemical agents, breaking windows and doors and looting sizable objects — as the Capitol Police struggled to contain the violence and sometimes simply retreated. The police force, which numbers about 2,000 officers and has sole jurisdiction over the Capitol’s buildings and grounds, was clearly outnumbered and unprepared for the onslaught, even as it was openly organized on social media sites like Gab and Parler. It took more than two hours, and reinforcements from

Hesitancy on the part of long-term-care-facility staffers to receive Covid-19 vaccinations is slowing the rollout of the shots to the nation’s nursing homes and assisted-living centers, CVS Health Corp. said Wednesday. Another factor driving lower-than-anticipated rollout numbers: Initial estimates by the facilities overstated the number of people living in them by about 20% to 30%, CVS said. During the pandemic, families have been reluctant to send relatives to nursing homes, which have been linked to more than 115,000 deaths. “Based on feedback from our field teams, we’ve encountered more vaccine hesitancy among staff when compared with residents,” a CVS spokesman

WASHINGTON — President-elect Joe Biden has selected Merrick Garland, a federal appeals court judge who in 2016 was snubbed by Republicans for a seat on the Supreme Court, as his attorney general, two people familiar with the selection process said Wednesday. In picking Garland, Biden is turning to an experienced judge who held senior positions at the Justice Department decades ago, including as a supervisor of the prosecution of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. The pick will force Senate Republicans to contend with the nomination of someone they spurned in 2016 — refusing even to hold hearings when a Supreme Court vacancy
