A hospital in South Los Angeles has been so overwhelmed with new coronavirus cases that it has been forced to set up a tent outside to act as a waiting room. The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital (MLKCH) normally sees around 30 people, but with the coronavirus outbreak, frontline health care workers have had to serve over 100 people a day, according to a report from The New York Times. The overflow is so severe that the lobby has been converted to a place to care for patients while an outside tent has been erected to act as a

Aunt Esther. Brilliant, and thanks, but this is just east of there - Latina Nannette Barrigan's district. Still, if the bed shortage is this bad why hasn't there been a call for Trump to do something about it? The Mercy is still available.

The local VA had erected a tent at the front door for doing triage already last Spring. Maybe CA should divert some of the billions being wasted on the train to nowhere to providing emergency services that are actually needed?

Coronavirus Patients from Mexico Crossing Border and Straining U.S. Hospitals
Has the time come to acknowledge it and consider remedies?
By Todd Bensman on December 4, 2020
AUSTIN, Texas – In late October, the El Paso television station KFOX-14 aired video of fire department ambulances lining up at the international bridge picking up Covid-19 patients who had just crossed from Mexico and driving them to hospitals, the ones now filled to crisis proportions.
Do you still believe in the fake virus?

That's the big deal...ICU's are overwhelmed (by design). But did anyone ever push to have anymore ICU's to be put into operation?

How many of these patients are Mexican illegal aliens? Border cities in Texas are being inundated with Mexican citizens who are crossing the border for FREE health care. The mainstream media is ignoring the fact that Mexico currently has the second-highest Covid death rate in the world.

I was just in a hospital ( Saddleback) in Orange county last week I had a real serious cough. I was taken into the emergency room as soon as arrived there. I was tested twice for Covid while I was there and came out negative both times. I was there for about 4 hrs then released after a bunch of tests. They found that I had a real serious cold. They gave me some kind of steriod pills and I got better in about 5 days I don't know where or how many Covid patients came into the hospital, but there didn't seem to be any panic while was there.

A physician from California called Rush Limbaugh during his program on Wednesday (12/23/20) and expressed his concern based on his having studied the connection between illegal immigration traffic coming over the border (March 1 to December19, 2020) and the high incidence of COVID and found that 72% of hospitalizations in Los Angeles are Hispanics and 71% of the ICU hospitalizations are Hispanics. The physician pointed out his wife is Hispanic and he has nothing against Hispanic people. The point he is making is that Hispanics are a very large majority of people being hospitalized in Los Angeles and, as he put it, “they’re basically a reservoir if not the main reservoir for passing the COVID virus around.
He believes the problem is because these people cannot work distantly because most are in agriculture, domestics, chefs in restaurants and cafeterias; further, they live in dense populations and unlikely to seek medical care until they are very, very ill.
He said a Pew Research study showed the large majority of illegal immigration to be along the entire southern border of the States with California, Texas and Florida having the highest numbers. Over time, these illegal immigrants have migrated to other states and the virus gets passed along.
He expressed concern about a news report showing caravans being formed in Central America waiting for Joe Biden to take office. Rush pointed out that Biden said “restoring the U.S. immigration system would be an overwhelming priority.” As Rush put it, Biden “means he will no longer enforce immigration law.” That Biden will “go back to the Democrat Party interpretation of immigration, and that is there’s no limits on it” with a caveat of Biden “not being able to do away with the southern border on his first day in office...because doing that might cause ‘a rush of two million people coming across the border’ but he would get it done within the next six months.”

Doctors are sending their patients to the hospital that may have COVID symptoms. Not as a precaution but they need to fill up the empty beds and have the government provide them more $$ for a COVID patient. The recovery rate for this virus is 98%. So, what is really going on here.

Oh please, spare us the drama. California is on complete lockdown so the virus can't possibly spread. I would bet you could spot a celebrity or two in the tent if you looked hard.

Happy to see California state government is on top of all this (/s). Have to wonder if this was staged.
Takeaways from this...
- Don't go to hospitals if at all possible.
- Don't go to doctors if at all possible.
- Stay away from people as much as possible while maintaining a sense of 'normalcy' in ones own life.
- Leave the state of California if possible.
- Kick Newsom out of the governor's mansion.

Hospital workers here in southern Arizona repeatedly and anonymously report to radio talk show hosts on KNST that the hospitals are full of NOT Americans, i.e. they're coming across the border WITH covid to get free health care. Take California and multiply the issue by 10. Crickets.

You know when they were overwhelmed last spring it was dramatic. Now it is just incompetent. They didn't know there is a contagious virus out there? We are supposed to join their amazement over the caseload? Again?

So!
My daughter (in NJ) had covid. After several weeks, she went to the ER because the cough was so bad, She wanted from 7:30pm to 5am to see a Dr.
(I guess sleep deprivation is part of their treatment plan.)
She would have loved to have had a gurney.....anywhere....so she could lie down and rest.

You should know that South Los Angeles, where this particular hospital is located, is a place that is populated up to 80% or more by Hispanic people, of which probably half are illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America. The remaining portion of the population is made up mostly of Black folks. These are mostly all low income people whose cultures includes a huge amount of communal living where multiple families and generations live close together in what most people across the country would consider one family residences or apartments, some of those people even sojourning in garages. With that many people living close together and the Chinese COVID-19 virus being increasing contagious, those communities are bound to highly susceptible to being infected by the virus. So it is obvious that nearby hospitals would be overwhelmed as the virus becomes more contagious and spreads through those highly populated communities.

Most of the hospitals are able to find space, even converting regular rooms for Covid patient use. It is staff that is the problem. Not enough to handle the new overload.
