Republican Sen. Mitt Romney on Thursday blasted President Donald Trump's leadership -- or lack thereof -- during the deadly coronavirus pandemic as "a great human tragedy." "Well, this hasn't been the focus of his rhetoric, apparently, and I think it's a great human tragedy, without question," Romney told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room" when asked where Trump's leadership is as the President focuses on other issues amid the worsening pandemic. "The extraordinary loss of life is heartbreaking -- and in some respects unnecessary. Not all respects, but we've relaxed our standards as individuals," added Romney,

Actually it was perfect. It isn't the Federal gvts problem. It was up to each State to develop a solution for their area. No rocket Science, just someone's nappy is damp.

And I think mittens is a great waste of human skin and an oxygen thief - wasting perfectly good oxygen that could be used more productively by others. Mitt Romney - an individual who consistently fails to live up to the low standards he sets for himself. Desperately in need of a large steaming hot cup of STHU

This is a complete outrage. If a person has even a basic understanding of the respective roles of federal and state government, he or she would have to admit that Trump did an outstanding job. He fulfilled the federal role beautifully, and reached out proactively to the states to help them fulfill their roles. Only a moron or a complete liar could fault Trump's response. Which one is Romney? What really galls me is Romney's holier-than-thou attitude when he is slinging complete bull. PS I live in Utah I didn't vote for Romney for senate.

Even if the GOP win the 2 senate races in Georgia, it will still be a 50-50 tie. Mittens & Murkowski will be demanding concessions, as usual. Why don't they just change parties already. At least then they would be standing for something they believe in. And to boot, they wouldn't be called traitors or backstabbers.

Second rate Romney, what would you have done? Lockdown the entire country? In other words nothing. Romney has never produced anything. He has never achieved anything. He bought up companies, and then sold them off. He is basically a millionaire big business looter. A fake business man. Romney looks at Trump, and realizes Trump is a producer and an achiever. A real business man. Trump is something Romney can never hope to be, and Romney hates Trump for that. The real tragedy is Mitt Romney being in government and is actually shaping government policy, but not for the good of the nation or its citizens. Anything Mitt does is for Mitt, and anyone that has enough money to buy him. Second rate Mitt is more like a prostitute rather than a leader.

The Pope has appointed progressive Newark Cardinal Joseph Tobin to the Vatican’s bishop-making panel. Why does this matter? Phil Lawler explains: Let’s suppose that a man you know accidentally makes public a Twitter message that was obviously supposed to be read by only one person. The message reads: “Nighty-night, baby. I love you.” The man who sent that message is not married. What do you conclude? Right. Now further suppose that the man in question is a celibate priest. In fact, a cardinal of the Catholic Church. Does that alter your conclusion?

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
