Joe Biden calls climate change the
‘number one issue facing humanity’

Joe Biden declared climate change the “number one issue facing humanity” and vowed a national transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy that could create millions of new jobs. “It’s the number one issue facing humanity. And it’s the number one issue for me,” Biden said of climate change during an episode of Pod Save America released Saturday. He was interviewed by Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior advisor to President Barack Obama. (Snip) “It’s going to create millions of jobs ... We can’t be cavalier about the impact it’s going to have on how we’re going to transition to do

Comments:

Leftists must have read him the riot act about eliminating the natural resource industries. Now he's back to saying 'We're all going to die' if his plan is not followed.

Emma, are you sure it wasn't global cooling, global warming, El Nino, La Nina. Mount Pinatubo eruption, Mount St Helens, Pompei, dinosaurs, cow flatulence or some other fake leftist scare tactic that caused the wildfires and hurricanes? Could it be just seasonal westher patterns, lightning, years of accumulated undergrowth, arson, etc?

Voters rank Global Warming near the bottom of their list of concerns; good of the Big Guy to show that he's out of step with the rest of us. Also, CNBC lies even in the key points preceding the article: "Climate change has fueled record-setting wildfires in the U.S. West and one of the most active Atlantic hurricane seasons this year."

Very true. What will we do if the Sun stays quiet? It is already snowing in the midwest, and it is not even November yet. 10 cm radiation is way down, the sunspots have been feeble, and solar wind minimal. Be it noted here: the United States can do little about carbon dioxide contributions from China, India, Africa, and South America. Lots of places located there have no source of heat except burning fuel. Is it expected that they will all freeze to death? Seems heartless. And we do not control persons in those areas. What is it we are expected to do? Go back to the trees? What a load of malarkey (statement cleaned up from dirty original). And as folk sit around their dining room tables, trying to figure out how to survive in a permanent lockdown, their greatest fear is Globull Warming? C'mon, man. Tomorrow it will be some other great fear.

There isn't enough data to support MMGW is a major contributing factor to climate change. When our Sun enters solar minimums (like NASA says it soon will be) or solar maximums, the Earth's climate changes. When plate tectonics causes the continental land masses to move such that ocean currents are diverted, the Earth;s climate changes. Let's say that carbon emissions/particulate matter do affect our climate-where are carbon emissions and particulate matter in the greatest concentrations? Russia, China, India, the entire Middle East. America sheds it's share of pollutants to be sure, but compared to the size of our economy, our population size, and the size of our country, we have some of the cleanest air in the world. I think we should send Greta Thunberg on a mission to Asia to visit those countries who pollute far, far, more than we do, and see what sort of reception she gets! Also, I'd like to ask Biden and Obama what they think of rising sea levels while visiting Obama at his $29MM waterfront estate in Martha's Vineyard. So Joe, your existential threat should soon mean that your old boss's $29MM investment will be under water. And, in case anyone didn;t know, the nation of Maldives (an island chain in the Pacific know for its natural beauty and for being like 8 inches above sea level) has recently completed construction on not one, not two, but FIVE new airports to handle increased tourism! When hypocrites like Obama, and nations that regularly flooded by tropical storms, begin to pay attention to 'climate change' in their ACTIONS, not WORDS, then I'll believe it. When waterfront property in Malibu sells for pennies on the dollar, call me.

The number one issue facing humanity is "Globalist Marxist Communism One World Government" of anti-Christs. Daniel the prophet over 2,500 years ago foretold of the worlds attempt to create a One World Government of Evil, mans heaven on earth, and the attempt would fail as differences between God' creations will not adhere to each other very long if at all. Plus God will never allow a One World Government of Evil (Self Pride of some mankind over all mankind). God destroyed the Tower of Babel over mankind attempts to reach heaven on their own terms instead of God' terms.

Seriously, Joe, telling us all about how you have a 'plan', and how it will create millions of jobs, while saving the planet from a bogus threat, just doesn't hold up...until you can back it up with facts. Fact: the world has been generally warming up (glaciers retreating, sea level rising, atmospheric CO2 increasing, etc) since the end of the last ice age some 15,000 years ago (with some notable interruptions due to volcanic activtiy). And not one single advocate of AGW, climatologist or otherwise, has been able to explain what caused this warming trend to start some 14,500 years before the current industrial age...much less the dozens of ice ages that preceded the most recent one. Until they do so, all they've got is the noisy clamoring of a bunch of grant-hungry climate-prostitutes.

Plentiful Green jobs was one of BO's memes. They never accomplished it. The companies they supported went bankrupt, leaving the taxpayer on the hook for the money they lost. Solyndra anyone? To paraphrase Trump's point, "Joe, you and BO had 8 years to do this stuff and you accomplished NOTHING. Why would we believe you could do it successfully now?" Gruber said that BOCare only passed due to the 'stupidity' of the American voter. Apparently Joe thinks we are still stupid. BOCare, was a Zombie program, dropping rotting parts off itself right from the beginning. In addition, Joe and BO provided a stagnant economy that extended the misery of the recession BO inherited throughout both his terms. ARE voters this stupid to vote for this clown?

So far, schools do not seem to be stoking community transmission of the coronavirus, according to data emerging from random testing in the United States and Britain.
