Finally, an accurate poll?

Everyone remembers the wildly inaccurate predictions of a Hillary Clinton landslide right up through the morning of Election Day 2016.
(snip) One Gallup polling question may be shedding light on this phenomenon. When asked who will win the election, voters responded as follows: Regardless of whom they personally support, 56% of Americans expect Trump to prevail over Biden in the November election, while 40% think Biden will win. (snip) With this type of question, voters may let their guards down and provide a truthful answer.

The purpose of all these polls showing Biden so far ahead is to con the American people into believing the election was "stolen" again.
Dems have no intention of ever allowing President Trump to govern effectively. When he wins, they will again find a faux reason for impeachment. We have got to win not only the Presidency but also the House and Senate!

The few times I take a pollster call, I tell them I am leaning toward Bite Me because I am tired of Trump making America great again and that we really need more corruption, evil, and misery in this country. And I ask them why is it taking so long to roll with the new world order. And as a former deplorable, I am trying to be the best useful idiot I can. Helps to shorten the call.

I certainly hope that this will be the case. And I disagree with #1 a bit as to motive. I think that the "polling" today, due to the built-in leftist bias, is intended to try to keep Republican voters demoralized, hoping that some will stay home "because the polls show we can't win".

After standing with the Mrs for three hours to vote for President Reagan's first term, we will crawl over broken glass to vote against the Socialists... With the Marxist Media beating the drum that President Trump can't win just makes us more determined to be at the polls when they open!

Pollsters are in a bind to know which manipulation will be the most effective.
If they say Biden has it in the bag, dems will stay home and it is 2016 all over again.
If they say Trump may win, will the dem voters get discouraged or get motivated?
We just need to go vote in person, and hope the dems are too scared to get out of their basements.

There was a similar problem in the UK regarding Conservatives under polling their actual performance. It was considered 'cool' to be Labor. or Labour as they say. So they started asking who the respondent thought his neighbors would vote for. The results were favorable to Conservatives and a lot closer to the actual results. The same phenomenon is operative here but the driving cause could be fear of intimidation, being 'cancelled' etc.

I agree with Poster 1. If President Trump is re-elected and the national socialists retain control of the House, we can expect constant investigations, hearings and at least one more impeachment. Meanwhile, democrat prosecutors are obsessed with the president’s tax records which they can use to manufacture indictments. There is no end.

Brilliant #2, and I now plan to use that same tactic myself! And I wonder two things - if Trump looses amidst rampant examples of fraud and cheating from the botched mail-in process (it's coming, people) how will the Right react? And if he wins - are we really going to allow the Left run rough-shod over our President as they did his first term? I don't think so. Many of us are as seethingly angry as their mobs have been. Up till now tho, we've chosen not to swarm like agitated hornets. That will change in victory. Or stolen victory.

Presidential election polls are historically wrong. After the last election they became a joke. This has not deterred the media however. They push on reporting ridiculous poll results that no one, not even the candidates, believe and we’re all supposed to be shocked and awed. The real poll will be taken on November 3rd and that’s the only one that matters.

I have to agree with several of the posters. I think many democrat voters stayed home in 2016 because they thought their vote wasn't needed. I hope they make the same mistake again. Biden has it in the bag !! stay home, democrats !!!
My personal observation. I went on a road trip to a flea market on Sunday. I saw very few Biden/Harris signs during the drive to it. I saw tons of Trump signs. While I was at the flea market, I saw at least 4 vendors selling Trump memorabilia. I saw many people wearing Trump hats or tee shirts. I saw no Biden vendors or supporters. Maybe those kind of people don't go to flea markets.
I have noticed that many houses in the area that have yard signs supporting democrat candidates, don't have Biden signs. Will they vote the party line except for President ?? That will be interesting to see.
