A 15-year-old teenager who went to a Dallas Mavericks game with her dad, became part of a living nightmare when she went to the restroom and never came back, only later to be found through nude advertisements for sex trafficking online in Oklahoma City by her terrified parents.
The North Texas teenager disappeared on April 8th at the American Airlines Center. The girl was caught on surveillance video leaving with a man. She was missing for 11 days.
On April 18, police found the girl in a room at the Extended Stay America hotel where she had been repeatedly sold and sexually abused.

Guarantee this is not the FIRST time whoever took her has done this...what are their priors?
Nor the first time the Motel has rented rooms to them.
Gotta say though...If I had a daughter she would NEVER be out of my sight in a crowded place like that.

I have watched my daughter like a hawk from pre-school to high school graduation. I would have never taken my eyes off that bathroom entry until seeing her come back out, alone.

Agree. The father dropped the ball first. He had no bad intent but he wasn't much of a protector.
At this point the best outcome would be for public executions of the predators.

Who are these men who go to a hotel room and pay to rape a young girl? There must be thousands of these monsters walking among us.

I’ve been asking that question for a long time #4. If perverts can find them apparently they’re not being hidden very well. President Trump was shutting down sex traffickers and I’ll always believe this was the number one reason He was hated by the elites. The idiots among us just fell for the lies.

Wasn't she old enough to say NO and alert the police??

To those who are blaming the dad or the girl for the nightmare they fell into, kidnappers and abusers know how to profile their victims. They look for meek and quiet kids that are easy to intimidate. They tell them lies that make them feel like they need to protect their families.
I told my girls If anyone ever grabs you in a store, start yelling "this is a stranger". Do not walk with them. Go limp and force them to carry you, because it will slow them down. Never believe them when they say they will hurt your parents - we have guns. Run or ask someone for help the first chance you get.
If you think this might scare a child, it might, but Elizabeth Smart needed to hear it.

This may be weird but I didn’t capitalize He on purpose, that was a typo. I love Trump but I don’t think he’s a god.

Where the missing person was last seen is where the report is made. Many don't know this and it still confuses law enforcement at times. Don't let anyone tell you to report it officially where you live. Do of course, let where you live know what's going on and touch bases with the detectives there.

We live under a regime that promotes lawlessness, cross border human/sex/drug trafficking, and the grooming of young children within institutions which should protect them. Aggressiveness by police is discouraged.
What a horror. But to quote joe biden, things were never going to be perfect. Is there any more pudding?

There had to be hundreds of cops at a ball game. Unless she was gagged and blind-folded, that was her best chance to attract attention, before they got her out of the gate.

FTA: “Texas Family Code(51.03 b. 3) dictates that missing juveniles are investigated as runaways unless there are circumstances which appear as involuntary such as a kidnapping or abduction. Those cases per code are to be filed where the juvenile resides,” the police said.
The prudent thing to do would be the exact opposite. The police should assume a juvenile has been abducted against their will and investigate accordingly until there is evidence they are a runaway.

There is more to this story.
Why didn't the girl resist? Why didn't she scream? Why did she just walk out with this kidnapper?
I don't blame the girl, I just question why she did not resist.
The Dallas police were worthless in this instance. IMO
This Texas Counter Tracking Initiative---who are they and why do they have abilities to track these things when Police do not seem to be able to do so?
Why don't the police use these tactics to find kids.?
Why isn't that Motel shut down, closed up?
It seems obvious that although they may not have been involved they certainly turned a blind eye to prostitution.

Why are the "womens groups" silent on these kinds of matters?
Very sadly and tragically, they only seem to be about abortion or Hollyweird types making political statements.
There is human trafficking of many women coming across the border, but it goes on unabated, and women athletes are thrown under the bus with males pretending to be females.
Pray for this young girl and her family.

#16 It's right out of Deuteronomy 22:23 (there really is nothing new under the sun). The girl should have tried to scream for help. We don't know if it was the stick or the carrot that convinced her not to, and it doesn't matter. She is 15 and a victim either way. The guilt and punishment of the sick people who did this to her, both the business end and their internet-connected paying customers. The Constitution doesn't allow for cruel AND unusual punishment, so as long as it isn't both it's acceptable. Cruel is called for, just make sure it's crueler than what they did to this girl.

I've been trying to follow up with several different sources. There is one glaring bit of information missing: the contact with the abductor prior to the game. Notice it's not mentioned she was abducted by a 'stranger'. She went off with someone who has been grooming her for a while online, who she told she was going to be at the game. Her family dropped the ball first by not policing her social media communications. A contemptible, abhorrent crime has been committed. People need to hang. And the parents need to soul-search for their part in all this.

If #20 is correct this is not an abduction, but a runaway due to being catfished online. Equally tragic!
But here is a dad who is bothering to take a teenage daughter to a ballgame, so the judgement seems harsh. Sounds like both he and his daughter were naive about the evil in this world.

The Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative appears to be a Texas funded organization.
Last I heard, kidnapping is a federal offense.
Where was the FBI while local police were giving the parents the run around about where to report their minor child was missing???

Reminds me of the movie, "Taken". From what I understand, a girl who disappears like this is immediately drugged up, sold into the sex-trafficking trade and made available to customers. After two weeks or so, the girl is considered "spent" and is killed. The girl is very lucky to be alive and her family is very fortunate they aren't attending her funeral this week.

For those of you asking why the girl didn't protest, we don't know if she was 13 or an older teen. We don't know if he told her he had a gun or that he would kill her if she tried to escape. We don't know if he told her there was a man with a gun near her father and they would kill kim. Way too many variables to say she should have, could have, etc. I an nearly 70. I was abused as a young girl. I NEVER told because of threats. Then when I was n my 50s my younger sister told me she too was abused by the same person. I broke down knowing that I could have saved her! But my abuse stopped at age 12. I thought and believed the story that he was truly repentant. Didn't realize for years that it was just because I got too old! But I tell you that God is good and both my sister and I are fine. My prayers for this young girl, who suffered much more greatly than I or my sweet little sister did, is that she feels our Loving Heavenly Father's arms wrapped securely around her!

Absolute nightmare for this family!! Sounds like a lot of people dropped the ball that night, starting with the person who accepted a forged ticket from her abductor. I hope they are successful in their lawsuit. Their daughter will need it for therapy for the foreseeable future.
