Joe Biden is in the Catch-22 of his political career, folks. If he stays in his basement, he faces the legitimate question of whether he’s fit — both physically and mentally — to assume the duties of the presidency. If he hits the campaign trail, he runs the risk of… Pittsburgh. The latter occurred on Monday, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. At all. Put another way, Joe had a very bad day in Pittsburgh. A really bad day.As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday that went far beyond simple gaffes and pregnant pauses. A performance that left little doubt.

If Biden debates Trump. he'll get destroyed. If he doesn't debate Trump, he'll be seen as avoiding Trump, which weakens his position tremendously; he'll have to spend more time on the stump giving speeches, which increases the chances he'll make a fool of himself.
I'm going to enjoy watching Plugs self-destruct in public. He has it coming.

And yet, even on Fox, ever more leftward in it's spin, only a couple of short clips were shown, when Senile Joe was reading properly.
No mention that the room was empty, either.
They keep claiming that he'll debate the President. I don't see that happening.

Its all part of the plan, in an October surprise Biden will be replaced. Hillary riding her broom to the rescue.

Joe will not debate. He can't. Left to his own devices for 90 minutes on a stage with Donald Trump he will certainly lose it at the 15 minute mark and become combative and even physically aggressive. The Democrats got themselves a Catch 22. If they ditch Joe in September they have to live with Bernie Sanders in October. No other choice. Lose Lose and Lose some more proposition.

We haven't seen this kind of political cynicism since the Roman Pretorian Guard and Senate made the idiot Claudius emperor because they hated Caligula and had him assassinated.

Honest question. Each state has its own requirements, including latest date to enter the race, to be put on their ballot to run for president. How late can the dems wait to replace Joe, if they want to, without missing a state's deadline? And what's Kamala's current status in case she would be the replacement? Would she be considered as already effectively on the ballot? In general, is replacement even a realistic option?

C'mon, Man, it's the birth of the Thing with hairy legs out behind the gym. Corn Pop knows because he's my running mate for the US Senate. Or just ask my sister here, Jill, whose right here somewhere.
Dear God, can you imagine the tales the agents on Biden's Secret Service detail can tell! They see him every day, up close and personal.

Just for what he did to Clarence Thomas he deserves to be humiliated in a very public way. I feel no sympathy for a degenerate liar who has been grasping for power his whole miserable life.

Our local news only showed carefully chosen quotes from the speech and said it was a campaign appearance. No mention of the garbled syntax, the fact there was no audience, and that he immediately left afterwards without taking any questions.

My 2 cents; DR Jill is a big reason for this charade. Her wanting to be 1st lady is so encompassing that nothing will stop her. Even the obvious decline in Joe. While I never thought of him as very intelligent, the loss of mental capacity is apparent.

I know I should have sympathy for Biden but I'm having a hard time dredging it up.
He's been in politics for almost 50 years and has done nothing positive for his constituents let alone the country. He's done a lot of positive things for himself and his family, however. And it is for that reason and only that reason he is seeking to be President. NOW he asserts that he is the only one who can make the country "better". He's had 5 decades to do that and gave us bupkus. He is not mentally fit for the office and Willie's squeeze is raring to destroy the country.

I think one Twitter user got it exactly right. "...if Democrats don’t care about Biden’s well being then they definitely don’t give a damn about yours."

Not according to TV. We should be realistic and understand there are a lot of stupid people in this country who refuse to challenge the narrative in their deranged minds. Antifa revels in pure destruction. They assassinate an unarmed man in the street because of his hat. BLM proclaims a race war and boosts about being trained by the communists, and what do the loyal rats say, 'Trump caused all of this.' There is a bedrock of really dumb women, alt weird, soy boys, and violent macho psychos that will always vote rat, even if they have a walking dead candidate. Combine that with an all in media and massive cheating and we could wake up as the new Venezuela the day after the election. No matter how bad the rats look today.
It certainly would help the debate if the coup participants would start being arrested and prosecuted. I hope Barr and crew understand that if they let the coup players, including BO and hillary, skate, that will be the end of the USA.

#7, I asked these questions in a previous post and no one answered, but I seriously want to know. What can the democrats do, legally, if Biden voluntarily drops out or is forced out? Who will be their nominee? Time is running out. How will that work?

Biden reminds me of John Gill in the original Star Trek episode "Patterns of Force." One of his underlings props him up before a large microphone blocking his mouth and plays a recording of random statements Gill made in the past.

#7 - here you go. Practically speaking, the deadline is early September...but then it comes down to what the State's Secretary of State will allow, or what the state courts will force. Remember New Jersey a few years ago...what laws?

If Biden stays in his basement, he raises questions about whether he is fit for office; if he emerges from his basement, he proves he isn't fit to hold office.

Here in Ohio, we already know that the mayor of Cleveland will cancel the debate hours before it is supposed to take place, and will blame his decision on violence or threat of violence.

Honest question, if Joe Biden isn’t able to run why would Kamala Harris be the candidate to replace him. Nobody voted for her to be the next in line, she was chosen by his advisers. Why wouldn’t Bernie Sanders become the candidate as he had the next highest primary votes? Of course i realise if Biden’s elected it’s a whole different thing.

#25 has it, in my estimation. The plan is to sleepwalk him through the election, then he retires on Inauguration Day.
Yeesh. Good thing that's not going to happen.

Don’t know why he even bothers to give a so called speech to an empty room because it sure doesn’t promote hope, only questions.
