A 20-year-old survivor of a deadly voyage to the United States is speaking out about the brutal heat and deadly conditions she and nearly 100 other migrants faced before 53 were found dead inside a tractor-trailer outside of San Antonio, Texas.
Yenifer Yulisa Cardona Tomás, from Guatemala City, told the Associated Press on Monday that it was already hot on June 27 when she stepped out of a warehouse on the Texas side of the Mexico border where she had been waiting for the truck, and climbed into the back of the trailer.
The smugglers then confiscated her and the other migrants' cellphones,

Stay in your own country. I have no sympathy for criminals who come to harm during the commission of a crime.

DM milking this story. It has been determined that the air conditioner in the trailer was not woking. The temperature was said to be 103 outside. Would have been many degrees hotter in the trailer..

In olden thymes before Zhou Biden opened the floodgates, illegals were found in vehicle trunks, wheel wells, and I recall several (small?) women being found in a truck’s engine compartment. The possibility of death has always been part of the invaders’ lives.

Daily Mail a rag that puts any story that makes America look bad front and center. They do this plus fluff pieces from the Palace PR office to keep the UK readers distracted as their own nation is self-destructing.
You purposely join the hoarde coning to take advantage of the USA and don’t be surprised if things do not go well.

As always, the organizers are not mentioned, perhaps not pursued by law enforcement, free to continue profiting themselves and crossing palms as needed. The driver and some flunkies are hammered instead. This is the pattern in all these cases. The Capos are never brought to justice. Killing people is just a cost of doing business. And where is the outrage by the Guatemalans, for example? Once again, the government there is likely profiting, too. Each "poor" immigrant is spending thousands to make the trip - truly a criminal enterprise. But no conspiracy charges are ever brought. No indictments. Just hammer the dopes doing the driving. Crimes against humanity go unpunished. Our borders violated with impunity.

Gee.... Maybe if you hadn’t violated the laws of a sovereign nation by sneaking into it illegally, you wouldn’t have risked privation, starvation, rape and death, moron.
Whatsamatta? You don’t like living in your own country? Then it’s up to you to change it. If necessary, start a revolution - that’s what WE did!

Yes, they were illegals and should not have been there, but that is still a cruel and vicious way to die. They were human beings and the persons responsible for their deaths should be arrested and punished for murder.

At what point did they know that they were breaking our laws, when they were paying coyotes? when they were being loaded into trucks? when?

The migrants (illegal aliens) who survived that incident are lucky indeed, as soon, they will all be granted permanent residence “green cards” in the USA in return for testifying or giving statements against the smugglers, that will allow them to live and work in the USA indefinitely and to eventually bring their foreign family members to the USA.
The migrants who died in the smuggler’s truck, will most likely have liberal U.S. lawyers contacting their families in Guatemala to set up a big law suite to be filed in US federal court against US Government and the Border Patrol, claiming that the Border Patrol Agents at the checkpoint were incompetent and negligent in not finding the migrants (illegal aliens) in the truck and taking emergency enforcement and medical actions which would have saved their lives. Once such a lawsuit is filed, the Biden Justice Department will most likely quietly settle those lawsuits by authorizing big monitory payouts of US taxpayers money to the families in Guatemala, with at least half of that money ending up in the lawyers pockets.
Almost none of the migrants (illegal aliens) have four thousand or more US dollars to pay the people smuggling organizations to bring them into the USA. What happens in most cases is that their family members or friends already in the USA pay the smuggling fees and are paid back by the illegal aliens and maybe even employers, over time, once the illegal aliens are hired to US jobs.
