Police are investigating damage to property at a church in Madison, Wisconsin, that was evidently perpetrated by a pro-abortion group. “St. Bernard Catholic Church’s front door and signage were damaged by graffiti, which contained ‘anti-pro-life and anti-police’ messages, according to officers,” WMTV reported Saturday. The messages were scrawled across the front door and entrance in blue spray paint. Photos showed the graffiti read, “Pro Life My [blurred] Let’s Talk About All The Native Kids You’ve Killed”: (Tweet)

Why do these activists feel that THEIR cause gives them the right to destroy someone elses property. And the stronger they feel about their cause the more they think it justifies their actions. They always want to "burn it all down". Well, start with YOUR home and business. NOT someone elses. The more we allow this the more it will continue.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney (D) reacted to gun violence in his city by suggesting Tuesday morning that only the police should have guns. FOX News reports that Kenney spoke to reporters after two Philadelphia police officers were wounded by gunshots on July 4. McKinney reflected on July 4, saying, “It was a chilled back day, beautiful weather. But we live in America where we have the Second Amendment and we have the Supreme Court of the United States telling everybody they can carry a gun wherever they want.”

Firebrand Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert blasted Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell on Twitter Tuesday after he seemed to blame her and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for the Independence Day mass shooting in Illinois. A 22-year-old gunman opened fire at a 4th of July parade in Highland Park on Monday, a wealthy suburb of Chicago, killing six people and injuring dozens. Just a day later, Swalwell took to social media with side-by-side photos of Boebert holding an assault rifle and an image of the shooter. 'Let’s start drawing straight lines,' he wrote.

An unnamed Democrat lawmaker criticized the Biden administration as 'rudderless, aimless and hopeless' in yet another damning report of turmoil between the US President and his party on Tuesday. More than 20 Democrats working across Congress and the White House shared private concerns with CNN regarding President Joe Biden's ability to respond to back-to-back crises that have plagued the country for much of his term - and whether he's an effective leader of those behind him working to fix it.

Former President Donald Trump was cleared of contempt charges after failing to turn over documents demanded in a subpoena by the state’s attorney general, a New York judge has ruled. Trump’s April 25 contempt finding came after he contested a December subpoena seeking records related to his personal finances and the financing of several properties. He had no material that was responsive to the subpoena, as he claims, leading to demands by the judge and the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James that his attorneys provide detailed explanations of how they conducted their search.

To hear Andrew McCarthy tell it, Donald Trump’s racuous speech at the Ellipse on January 6 ended with a “Braveheart” moment when the president beseeched his throng of weapon-wielding supporters to attack government leaders at the U.S. Capitol that afternoon. Last week’s testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson, the junior White House aide who made a number of dubious claims under oath, has been accepted as fact by most of the corporate news media and NeverTrump pundits including McCarthy, as I explained here. In response to leading questions by Representative Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), Hutchinson claimed

Jump out of a perfectly good airplane, charge a machine gun nest, be stationed at Ft. But today's military is asking too much of our young people, as evidenced by the crashing recruitment rates that threaten to deplete a military already running short of soldiers. Have our young people suddenly turned from heroes to zeros, ne'er-do-well heirs of the brave warriors who confronted the forces of tyrannical gun control at Lexington and Concord?

After the inane generalities, Romney began inching toward his real target: Donald Trump.

It was held in the exquisitely picturesque English Cotswold district but the photos are a testament to the death of beauty in the modern era.
