She posted on Twitter late Sunday that her husband, George Conway, a fierce critic of President Trump, will also make unspecified changes. “We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids,” she said in a statement. “Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months.”

A Florida woman shot and killed a man who returned to her home after an argument early Saturday and tried to use a tire iron to smash his way inside, authorities said.

The head of the union representing 4,000 New York State Police Troopers – a workforce overseen by Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo — is backing Republican President Trump’s re-election bid.
“Donald Trump has our back. President Trump has supported us when so many people have turned against us,” NYS Troopers PBA president Thomas Mungeer told the Post on the eve of the Republican National Convention.

Now that Joe Biden emerged from his basement to accept his party’s nomination for president, it’s well past time for him to remain out of hiding and open himself up to questions as the campaign enters its final stretch.Whatever one might say about President Trump, it cannot be said that he’s afraid to engage with the media. Trump, in addition to frequent speeches and other public appearances, has repeatedly offered himself up to the media to take questions, even as they remain largely hostile to his candidacy. Whether it’s in press conferences, informal gaggles from in front of the White House, or tough one-on-one sessions, Trump has made himself available.

After starting out in West Bend, the group arrived in Milwaukee outside the DNC security perimeter on Wednesday afternoon to make it known that the president has plenty of support in the state. Part of it is voting fraud, something Democrats and the media discount completely. Part of it is mail delays, which Democrats and the media insanely and falsely blame on Trump. The third part is invalidation of ballots which has a high rate for mail-in voting in 2020 primaries. Morning Consult reported that Biden went into the DNC with the support of 51 percent of likely voters. Biden ticked up only one point after the convention to 52 percent. Donald Trump remained at 43 percent in both polls.
That was in contrast to a similar poll in 2016 that found Hillary Clinton at 40 percent pre-DNC and 43 percent after. Trump experienced the reverse: 44 percent before the DNC, 40 percent after.
In 2020, only six percent of voters said they were undecided after the convention. That number was 17 percent in 2016.
