Former FBI Director James B. Comey said Sunday he hasn’t been contacted by John Durham, the U.S. attorney tapped to review the 2016 probe into the Trump campaign, and he’s “not worried at all” as President Trump derides him as a dirty cop. Speaking to CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Mr. Comey said he saw reports that former CIA Director John O. Brennan was interviewed as part of the Durham probe.(Snip) “Given that I know what happened during 2016, which was a bunch of people trying to do the right thing consistent with the law, I’m not worried at all about that investigation

Comments:

Why should one of the most egregious criminals in the history of US politics have anything to fear? His deeds are perfectly acceptable and even admirable in any Marxist nation.

If James Comey is a “Target” of the Durham investigation with the Grand Jury already having heard evidence against him, chances are the Durham investigation would not interview Comey because if they tried they would have to advise Comey of his fifth amendment right to remain silent.

Comey signed the first couple of FISA applications, then realized that could be a problem, and arranged to be absent when the final renewals came up. Comey knows he is in trouble, and he is worried about it. Must be boring, sitting around all day, instead of going into the office.

No one from the Obama coup plotters is going to be indicted, let alone be convicted and serve prison time. Only members of the stupid party suffer such a fate, not the criminal class of the Dem party. Durham and Barr are as dense as rocks when it comes to Comey and his ilk, with Barr falling all over himself to reassure us that no Democrat candidate would be indicted no matter how much evidence the DoJ has of lawbreaking.

Republicans are a bunch of polite, gentlemanly types who are bringing a knife to a gun fight. After four years having the executive branch and the Senate, they still haven’t interviewed Comey, and are just recently talking to Brennan this past week? You’ve got to be kidding. No wonder the Dems are running all over us. And why hasn’t Trump fired Christopher Wray, who has done nothing but iobstruct the whole process?

Why should he worry? Two tiered justice prevails here in the former USA. DOJ cannot even get a trumped up process charge against Flynn dropped. Planned Parenthood sells baby parts and Kamala Harris prosecutes the guy who exposed them. Rioters go free and law-abiding taxpaying citizens are fined and jailed for not wearing a virtue signaling face mask. President Trump, God bless him, is just one man, and even if he wins the government is infested with liberal fascists who will work against him and us.

Left-wing groups in Oregon demanded Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler resign after the death of a right-wing protester over the weekend, saying Mr. Wheeler has allowed the city to spiral out of control. Declaring President Donald Trump a “toxic presence,” Joe Biden forcefully condemned the violence at recent protests while also blaming Trump for fomenting the divide that’s sparking it. “He doesn’t want to shed light, he wants to generate heat, and he’s stoking violence in our cities,” Biden said Monday. “He can’t stop the violence because for years he’s fomented it.” In one of his sharpest attacks on the president yet, Biden went on to call Trump a “toxic presence in this nation for four years” and accuse him of “poisoning the values this nation has always held dear, poisoning our very democracy.”

Columbia University has removed the name of the founder of its medical school, who also served as George Washington’s doctor, from a campus dormitory because he was a slave owner. Samuel Bard, the founder of what is now Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, was a pioneer in obstetrics and the treatment of diphtheria, but also owned several slaves and once advertised promising a reward for the return of one who had run away. Bard Hall, which opened in 1931, is a dormitory for clinical students. In a letter to students and faculty, Columbia President Lee Bollinger said that the change “feels urgent”.
