WILMINGTON, Del.—Joe Biden was uncharacteristically tight-lipped on Tuesday about the final stretch of his search for a vice president. But the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee seemed prepared to talk about at least one leading contender: California Sen. Kamala Harris. As he took questions from reporters on Tuesday, Biden held notes that were captured by an Associated Press photographer. Harris’ name was scrawled across the top, followed by five talking points.“Do not hold grudges.” “Campaigned with me & Jill.” “Talented.” “Great help to campaign.” “Great respect for her.”Those are all observations Biden has made about Harris before. But they take on new significance following a recent Politico report that one of Biden’s

77-year-old Joe Biden on Tuesday held a campaign event in Wilmington, Delaware… AGAIN! Biden is so feeble that when he ventures out of his Delaware basement, he stays close to home. The presumptive Democrat nominee delivered remarks on his “Build Back Better” plan to bolster the economy. The campaign event started off awkward after Biden forgot where he was and welcomed people to the wrong community center. He also said “Crimate Clisis” instead of “climate crisis.” WATCH: (Tweet/Video)

Will people ever return to New York City? Should they?
Walk around Gotham right now, any random day, and you will find an empty, hurting city. Boarded up windows still dot the streets of ghost-town neighborhoods such as SoHo. Greenwich Village is a deserted wasteland of garbage and disarray. Graffiti is rampant. Emotionally disturbed people are prevalent. The homeless problem, which had been growing steadily for the past few years, has now exploded. Crime is up. Way up. Including and especially shootings.
Our politicians are completely absent. Mayor Bill de Blasio is musing on the Marxist canon. Gov. Andrew Cuomo spends his time celebrating himself on late-night television.

Last week, the Chicago Tribune’s most prominent writer, John Kass, wrote a column decrying the rise in urban violence. Its compelling title: ‘Something grows in the big cities run by Democrats: an overwhelming sense of lawlessness.’ In today’s woke world, it is risky to speak such hard truths about gang shootings, unprosecuted shoplifting, looting, carjackings and more. This rising lawlessness is often cloaked in the language of protest, racial justice and income equality. Speaking out against it runs real risks.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr Tuesday morning, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) the ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, went over the heads of the corporate media to show a brutal video highlighting the violence and mayhem of the Black Lives Matter and antifa mobs.
Rep. Jordan opened his remarks by skillfully running through all of the evidence that proves the Obama administration spied on the opposition party and President Trump during and after the 2016 election.
Jordan then played the nearly eight minute video, which starts out with a montage of media and Democrat politicians describing the riots as “peaceful protests.”

The showdown is coming over urban violence in America. The continuing rioting and destruction erupting in new cities every few days is almost certain to provide yet another profound demarcation of opinion over how to govern the United States and address the problems that have so stirred the country since the killing of African American George Floyd by a white Minneapolis policeman on May 25. America’s toleration of a completely unjustifiable level of general violence compared to anything in its past demonstrates considerable progress in civility and restraint in the past 50 years.

While many well-meaning liberals support Black Lives Matter, few realize that the group is dedicated to dismantling the institution than help blacks more than any other. The mainstream media HAS YET to air this destruction from the weeks of Democrat-endorsed violence and destruction. The Democrats don’t want you to see the destruction. On Friday we asked our readers to send photos of the Democrat sanctioned devastation in their communities. We were overwhelmed with the response. We received over 100 emails and HUNDREDS of photos.
We’ve included many of them here.

WASHINGTON - Ninety-nine days before the election that will determine whether President Donald Trump has a second term in office, first lady Melania Trump made a rare appearance in the spotlight Monday to announce she'd be overseeing the first renovation of the White House Rose Garden in 58 years. The first lady's plans are a throwback to the era of Jacqueline Kennedy, whom Trump has said she admires. According to the White House, Trump aims to restore the garden's original footprint to its 1962 redesign, which Kennedy helped oversee and which President John F. Kennedy commissioned from his friend Rachel "Bunny" Mellon, an heiress to the Listerine fortune who was an amateur authority on horticulture and landscape architecture. Correction*

In a brazen crime caught on camera early Sunday morning, a group of men riding Divvy bikes surrounded an elderly man's car in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, pulled the driver out and stole his vehicle.
Video of the incident shows approximately 12 men on bikes circling the victim's car at around 10 a.m. Sunday on Grand Avenue just west of Columbus Drive.
As the group blocks the driver, an 82-year-old man, from leaving, one man opens the door and begins to pull the victim out by his arm. As seen on surveillance video, the victim eventually steps out of the driver's seat as four men jump in the car. They throw bags out

After 1,173 days in office and three now-departed spokesmen, it appears President Donald Trump has found his preferred White House press secretary in Kayleigh McEnany — and just in time for a rugged fall election campaign. [Snip] But McEnany is not bothered or conflicted about the job demands of Trump press secretary. No need to court, coddle or assuage a hostile White House press corps. Her one and only job is to defend Trump and propound his presidency. And she’s doing a remarkably

The Democrat in charge of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler, believes that antifa and the destruction the radical group is causing, are “myths.”
Myths like this:
Nadler made this claim to Twitter user “Essential Fleccas” who respectfully asked him on video if the congressman would disavow the antifa violence that has plagued Portland, Oregon for more than 60 straight nights.
Here’s how the conversation went:
EF: There’s violence across the whole country. Do you disavow the violence by antifa that’s happening in Portland right now, the violence?
Nadler: That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, DC.
EF: About antifa in Portland?
Nadler: Yes.

If you’re a politician who’s trying to appeal to the left, you must always remember that they think of themselves first and foremost as victims. Victims of society, victims of male privilege, victims of whiteness, whatever the case may be. All the problems in the world are the direct result of oppression by The Other. Lefties are helpless targets, nobody in the world has ever suffered the way they have, and they must be rescued by… well, by whoever wants power over them.
So if you want perpetual victims to vote for you, then you need to speak their language.

Portland police are investigating a shooting at what Democrats constantly tell us are “peaceful” riots by people that New York Congressman Jerry Nadler insist are mythical creatures like unicorns. The mythical creatures also stored a cache of Molotov cocktails and ammo at a park across the street from the federal courthouse that antifa and Black Lives Matter peaceful rioters have been assaulting for more than 60 days straight.
Portland police say the shooting and the cache “appear to be unrelated.” Two people arrested earlier were released, as many Portland Professional Protesters™ usually are.

Joe Biden is leading in the polls by wide margins, but he's already making excuses should he lose to Donald Trump in November. Namely, he's saying the president is planning to somehow steal the election.
Back in June, Biden told "Daily Show" host Trevor Noah that "It's my greatest concern, my single greatest concern: This president is going to steal this election. This is a guy who said all mail-in ballots are fraudulent, direct voting by mail, while he sits behind a desk in the Oval Office and writes his mail-in ballot to vote in the primary."

Liberals once prided themselves on being open-minded. In contrast, today's resurgent Left seeks to police opinion and ruin the lives of those who disagree with them. Whether it’s in the world of business or sports, on college campuses or within newsrooms, there has been a significant shrinking of discourse, thanks to efforts by so-called liberals to target those who disagree with them.
Now, a new poll provides some insight into why that may be. Put simply, liberals are eager to cancel those who disagree with them because they do not fear that those same tactics will be used against them. And they are right not to fear

The office said a complaint filed against he man alleges he fraudulently obtained $3.9 million in PPP loans, which were intended to help support small businesses

Anthony Fauci’s embarrassing face-plant on Opening Day at Nationals Park was not because he threw a crazy sidewinder rainbow that looked more like a bad throw toward first base than a ceremonial first pitch towards home plate.
To be sure, that was embarrassing.
His weak performance on the mound gave a bad name to bespectacled nerds everywhere. Maybe it was his facemask cutting off the oxygen required for elite athleticism.

Supporters of a candidate with confidence in the politician’s ability to win based on making the better argument don’t usually use the heckler’s-veto-on-steroids to coerce people to their point of view. Yet that is precisely what Ronald Brownstein did in an article in The Atlantic.
The underlying tone of the article is: “Vote for Joe Biden or the national temper tantrum will only get worse.” He accuses the president of positioning blue cities as a threat in order to rally voters to his law-and-order agenda. A brief scroll of Twitter will show you that riots in cities like Seattle and Portland are absolutely a threat

The great conundrum facing the anti-American left at the moment is how to react to the violent protest ripping up various Democratic-run cities. What is the preferred narrative? The two main choices are 1) it’s all peaceful protest, the ‘right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances’? or 2) let ’er rip: we’re out there destroying stuff and hurting people because the country’s falling apart and the sooner the better. Just so, a contributor to the Oregonian, announcing his fears of an impending ‘anti-democratic, racist police state’, wondered whether he would find

Attorney General William Barr is slated to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday for the first time.
The hearing is likely to be contentious, with Democrats demanding answers about his handling of high-level prosecutions of President Trump's associates, pressing Barr about what they see as the politicization of the Department of Justice and grilling him about his recent role in the clearing of peaceful protesters outside the White House so that Trump could stage a photo-op in front of a historic church that was vandalized during protests demonstrating against police brutality and the police killing of George Floyd.

When doctors meet a patient for a new complaint, we make a list of different possible explanations for the problem—a differential diagnosis—and try to determine the correct diagnosis, while starting treatment for the most likely one. After this initial assessment, as test and imaging results come in, we may alter the differential diagnosis and treatments.
Public-health officials dealing with a new pathogen, like the coronavirus that causes Covid-19, go through a similar process. They must recommend policies with incomplete information and adjust them over time. But unlike physicians, they do so in public, and sometimes under intense scrutiny.

Olivia de Havilland was celebrated for her role in “Gone With the Wind” — but when it came to the relationship she had with her sister, actress Joan Fontaine, she was also gone with the kin.
See, the Hollywood icon who portrayed sweet, doomed Melanie was actually a fighter.
De Havilland, who died Sunday just weeks after turning 104, didn’t just hold a grudge against Fontaine because the latter won an Oscar for Best Actress in 1942 — in a category for which they were both nominated. Their sibling rivalry began many years earlier and was her greatest battle, aided by de Havilland’s notorious grudge-holding personality.

Back in 2017, Sen. Rand Paul’s neighbor, Rene Boucher, attacked the Senator on his own property, allegedly over a dispute about lawn clippings. The attack left Sen. Paul with several broken ribs. Last August, Paul had a portion of his lung surgically removed because of damage caused by the attack. Boucher was eventually charged with one count of assaulting a member of Congress. Boucher was initially given a light sentence of just 30 days in jail plus a $10,000 fine and community service. But the case was appealed and last September the appeals court overturned the sentence saying it was too light given the extent of Sen. Paul’s injuries.

It’s manifestly obvious to any objective auditor of former Vice President Joe Biden’s semi-coherent public maunderings that he is incapable of carrying out the duties of the presidency. Consequently, in the unlikely event that his handlers manage to install him in the White House, “working class Joe” won’t be running the country. That function will fall to the Obama administration retreads and leftist radicals who now control the Democratic Party. These people will make every important policy decision in a Potemkin Biden administration, serving as a de facto politburo. Moreover, its members have already been named in the recommendations of the “Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force.”

In the world of politics, repetition is almost without fail the key to winning elections. The dominant campaign issue in the upcoming election that President Trump, the Republican Party and the conservative media must relentlessly repeat is the now irrefutable fact that Joe Biden, the Democrat party and the mainstream media have tacitly sanctioned sedition and have betrayed the American people. Consequently, if Biden and the Democrats win in November, they will be incapable of preventing the Marxist ultimatums of the radical left from becoming the law of the land.

Even allegations of “systemic racism” by U.S. police and the crusade to rid America of “racist” monuments to our Founders, heroes, and pioneers have peaked and are now receding. Yet, the lawlessness continues. At every point during this outpouring of violence and hatred,
