First daughter Ivanka Trump has entered the Goya Foods tug of war, with the senior adviser to President Donald Trump featuring the company’s slogan in a tweet.“If it’s Goya, it has to be good,” the president’s daughter tweeted, along with a photo of herself holding up a can of Goya black beans in a Vanna White-like pose. And to be sure the message reached as far as it could, Ivanka repeated the slogan in Spanish: “Si es Goya, tiene que ser bueno.” (Tweet) Naturally, the Trump-hating cabal, to include much of the media, took exception to the tweet, complaining that Ivanka was

The two hardest-hit states by the coronavirus as of Tuesday evening, Democrat-run New York and California, are not getting the same level of negative attention by the leftist mainstream media as the GOP-governed hotspots of Florida and Texas, which have lower deaths and cases. Although the ongoing spike in cases and, to a lesser, extent a rise in deaths, has spared New York, the sheer number of infections and fatalities in NY and surge-impacted California exceed those in Florida and in Texas, respectively.Amid the recent record surge in cases, the Democrat-controlled states of New York (1) and California (2), remain the top two hotspots for the most infections, followed by GOP-governed

WASHINGTON—As the rest of the nation endures missed appointments with their hairdressers and beauticians, President Trump has also started sporting a more natural look.At a briefing in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, the president emerged from the Oval Office with his signature pompadour exhibiting a distinctly more silver-gray hue. Trump, 74, is renowned for his preoccupation with his appearance and his year-round tan and intricately coiffed mop of blond hair have demanded as much examination by the media as his stance toward China. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in May 2011, Trump walked a reporter through his beauty regimen.

After FOX 35 News noticed errors in the state's report on positivity rates, the Florida Department of Health said that some laboratories have not been reporting negative test result data to the state. Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 News found that testing sites like one local Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive.
How To Create A Pandemic

This week, California, which has a death rate that is less than half the national average, is rolling back its reopening amid an increase in coronavirus cases. Elsewhere, we’re awash in stories about how states have reopened “too soon.” Why the continued panic when we know that the disease is far less lethal than originally feared? If nothing else, the coronavirus pandemic is a textbook example of how to create fear and anxiety that is out of proportion to the threat, and spur panic-induced policies that needlessly kill people (like seniors in New York nursing homes). It also demonstrates how

In Alabama, the Republican party nomination for senator provided a surprisingly large victory (over 25% points with 50% of the vote counted) for Jeff Sessions's opponent, Tommy Tuberville, the former Auburn football coach. This likely ends the long political career of Sessions after Donald Trump supported Tuberville. It appears that the Trump faithful have determined that the former attorney general's recusal over the Russian investigation cannot be forgiven. Alabamans have decided that a political novice such as Tuberville is preferable

Black conservatives on Tuesday kicked off a campaign to save the Emancipation Memorial, the statue of Abraham Lincoln and freed slave Archer Alexander now under attack by Democrats and Black Lives Matter protesters in the District. Star Parker, founder of the nonprofit UrbanCURE, held an “emancipation celebration” Tuesday at Lincoln Park, site of the now fenced-off bronze statue on the Capitol Hill, to promote a petition drive urging Congress to “keep this statue alive, right here.”

Last night, 76-year-old radical Angela Davis was trending on Twitter due to her endorsement of 77-year-old presidential hopeful Joe Biden. Bravely we go into the future, I guess. While no politician can control who supports them, apparently numerous pundits believe that the Davis endorsement is worthy of celebration (though most also carefully avoided noting her blessing was made on Russian propaganda television). “Why isn’t Angela Davis asked for commentary on major news channels?” wonders the Washington Post’s Wajahat Ali. Well, I’ve can think of a few reasons. 1) Davis is an unrepentant champion of domestic terrorists and murderers.

Fox News correspondent-at-large Geraldo Rivera vehemently disagreed with U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan for denying alleged Jeffrey Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell bail on Tuesday, claiming the judge caved to the “mob” and “chickened out.” Maxwell, who has been charged with four counts of child sex trafficking and two counts of perjury, pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday and her trial was set for July 2021. Nathan then denied Maxwell bail, meaning the accused sex trafficker will remain in custody for a year.

The other day, as summer in the city became a stifling drag, I took some time to drive out to the country. Texas is full of charming small towns with colorful names on the banks of the state’s picturesque rivers. Those towns also are home to some of the best people and food you will find anywhere. So out I drove, into the hills and away from the city that brags about how weird it is. Day tripping wasn’t really meant to be cathartic, but given how awful this year has been, nearly anything that isn’t terrible now feels great. Taking small things for granted feels very 2019 now.

A New York Times columnist has urged likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden not to debate President Trump in the fall. Most voters think that’s a bad idea, although only just over half believe Biden is even up to debating Trump given ongoing questions about his mental health. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters think Biden is capable of debating the president. Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree and say he is not capable of such a debate. Another 11% are not sure.

Let’s savor, for a moment, what Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense might look like. Given today’s preview . . . let’s just say Casey Anthony had less of a shot, but at least she knew how to hire a lawyer. Not so Ghislaine. Oh, no. Her attorney Mark Cohen began by describing the inhuman conditions his multimillionaire client, friend to princes and presidents, has suffered in jail. No acknowledgement of multiple survivors of childhood sexual abuse, of her decades-long involvement with late pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, just Cohen riding a bullet train to the really important stuff.

On March 2, the day after New York reported its first coronavirus case, Gov. Andrew Cuomo appeared on CNN, where he declared that he was “mobilizing the public health system to contain the spread.” In an interview with CNN’s John Berman, the Democratic governor said his state was “ramping up our testing capacity,” but assured viewers that “we have no reason for concern” that the COVID-19 patient, a 39-year-old woman who had just returned from Iran, had spread the virus to anyone else in New York. Cuomo added, “What I am concerned about, if anything, more than a health issue, is the perception issue and the fear issue.

At this point, maybe Hillary is tripling down or quadrupling down. She is still beating a dead horse – the loser of the 2016 presidential election wanted the viewers of Trevor Noah’s late-night television show to know that Trump’s victory was illegitimate and she has thoughts or something. She doesn’t have any new thoughts, mind you, but she is bitterly clinging to her old thoughts. Watching a video of the interview, it is easy for anyone who paid attention to the 2016 election or is old enough to remember the administration of Bill Clinton to understand the irony in most of Hillary’s answers to the softball questions asked by Noah.

Nothing stings like criticism from an insider. Bari Weiss, a New York Times op-ed editor whose sin was not being a lockstep left-winger, has delivered a scathing indictment of the paper’s out-of-control liberal culture--in the form of a resignation letter. Her open letter to Publisher A.G. Sulzberger might sound overheated coming from an outside critic. But Weiss, a controversial writer hired from the Wall Street Journal opinion section, says some colleagues have privately complained to her of a “new McCarthyism” at the Times. Weiss says she’s been “the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views.

Andrew Weissmann, a top prosecutor on special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, is seeking a re-do of sorts in the investigation, saying in an op-ed Tuesday that Roger Stone should be hauled before a grand jury to answer questions about his interactions with President Donald Trump in 2016. Writing in The New York Times, Weissmann also pushed a false claim about the criminal charges against Stone, whose prison sentence Trump commuted on Friday. Weissmann, who is currently an MSNBC analyst, asserted that Stone was convicted on charges of “lying to Congress about the coordination between the Trump 2016 campaign, Mr. Stone, WikiLeaks and Russia.”
