RUSH: So many blue state governors continue to make so many mistakes, led by Cuomo, led by Gavin Newsom. What are we gonna do? Are we gonna keep going back and forth? We’re gonna open up and then we’re gonna shut down a little bit, then we’re gonna open back up, then we’re gonna shut down.(Snip)There’s been something, folks, that has been bothering me since this whole COVID-19 thing began. You know what it is? I finally done figured it out out there. We’re not acting at all like Americans.(Snip)We’re Americans. We beat back every enemy we have faced.

I am doing my part. I did not and do not stay home. I go where I need to go and I won't wear a mask. I have had exactly one "discussion" when a cash register operator asked if I had a mask, I said "No", And he reached for a box of disposables. I said "No, I'm not wearing that." I went to sit down, and my wife made my order. We were with a friend for dinner, so I didn't want to push too far, and wreck the dinner for the friend.
I won't buckle under.

Until the emergency powers of the governors is challenged, there is never going to be an end to this. There is no emergency, and there should be no emergency powers in effect. It is not Americans that are not doing their jobs. It is the legislatures and the Congress that have abdicated all power to the executive, no debates, no legislation, not even showing up for work---but they keep getting paid. If the representatives of the people don't do their jobs, then Americans are not represented, and should take back their government.

I'm betting Roy Cooper extends the NC mask regs. This has to drag on until November.

I am afraid you just might be right #3. Having just moved from a Michigan to the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of NC I thought I had escaped the wrath of Gov Whitmer. Seems all these Libs are birds of a feather and are wallowing in this new found power over the people of their states.

I love the state of Michigan- but am ready to leave the maniacal tyrant Witchmer..
There has not been a strong enough push back on her overreaching executive orders..
There are sheriff’s that won’t enforce mask rules- why? The EO is not a law agreed on in proper way..through legislative branches

I was speaking with my niece yesterday. She said their entire generation is going to have PTSD over this stupid thing, and it made me realize...What are we doing to our children, especially the little ones who are suddenly forced to wear masks in stores and soon in schools. It borders on child abuse. I am beyond disgusted. The experts and media should rot in hell!

#1 How did you feel when your wife buckled under and ordered for you?

The only "enemies" America has beaten back in the last 65 years has been Sen. Joe McCarthy, the John Birch Society and all the other Anti Communist people and groups. America has been very successful with that.

This whole lockdown business was sold to us as, “It’s only for a couple of weeks.” I refused from the beginning because I saw no major threat, but most people were willing to “do their part.” Now, 5 months later, we see what demonic powers the state has unleashed, because enough good people did nothing, and continue to “do their part.”
Life is a precious gift. I will not waste mine cowering in my house. Oxygen is our life’s blood. I will not deny myself the very essence of my life on Planet Earth, by wearing a mask. What you want to call that is up to you. It matters not to me. Not doing it.

#1, not happy. If we hadn't had an old friend along, I would have walked out.

Rush is quite right. But the enemy this time is within, and it owns the culture. We've generally been united against enemies in the past. Now what? Divided we fall? I have no voice here in California. We've bought a house in Idaho, hoping to escape, but the rot is everywhere, now the mask mandate is spreading there.

The transcript is well worth reading in its entirety—it is the essence of Rush, an American treasure. He points out that life has to go on, not spent in cowering and fear, not as a victim. There is a “need to contradict all of this tripe and meaningless BS that Black Lives Matter and Antifa and Occupy Wall Street are trying to spread ... we cannot survive as a nation with an entire generation and a half copping out, admitting that they’re scared ... taking comfort that fear offers them reasons and excuses not to even try to live their lives.”
