A seemingly healthy 57-year-old San Jose woman has emerged as the first person in the US to have died of the coronavirus — with her Feb. 6 death coming almost three weeks before two fatalities were reported, according to a report. Patricia Dowd, a manager for a semiconductor company, died suddenly after she had appeared to recover from flu-like symptoms, the LA Times reported. Her death was at first believed to be from a heart attack. But this week, authorities told her family that she tested positive for COVID-19, making her the first confirmed fatality from the illness in the nation.

Well wait a minute. The article says she was thought to have died from a heart attack but then tested positive for Cv, and had recovered from flu like symptoms.
Nothing reported says she did not die of a heart attack but had had the Cv.
Federal dump trucks full of cash awaiting states with the most Cv deaths. Publcity too!

That is, Trump should have known. Trump was having fun with his impeachment and just let these people die. Biden would have saved them.

Keep up the fear mongering! That helps.

The cause of death was probably the heart attack. Some apparently desire higher Covid death statistics. I wonder how much this is done.

Did she or did she not have a heart attack?
Did the heart attack kill her or did she die from fluid and toxic Corona virus?

It's positively amazing! The death rates from cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and other common causes has taken a steep drop since the Chinese Corona virus appeared. It's a miracle cure!

Trying to link this with "we should have been prepared sooner" with this new hindsight.
And, Newsom is now requesting re-tests back thru December.
Yet, if it was prevalent way back then, and the CA numbers are as low as they are, it may not be as troubling as it's being portrayed too. Total deaths in CA around 1200 for 40 million residents.
NYC seems to be the hot-bed with about 55% of all deaths due to the likely heavy use of mass transit systems where they are packed in like sardines. Then, live on top of each other in high-density buildings.
Something government planners want more of for everyone in the United States.

It's amazing from here on out everyone who dies will die from the CV. Cancer, heart attacks, diabetes, COPD all out the window. It's fear mongering that will never end we will never hear a success story about beating the virus or a vaccine that will save the world it all doom and gloom from here on.
I don't believe this story it's just a hype article.

This informative report from one New Orleans ER doctor to other ER doctors faced with COVID-19 may tell you what the COVID-19 did to her heart.

Actually, #8 non Covid deaths are way up in the NY metro area. Doesn’t help when the governor gives a DNR order to all EMTs.

Well the administration via Birx and Fauci opened this can of worms by essentially saying anyone with Covid symptoms is Covid positive by default and any death of a Covid positive person is caused by Covid. The distinction of dying WITH or OF Covid has been entirely obliterated.

She died. She was apparently NOT healthy. So before you go write an article with a patently idiotic headline, HOW did she get the virus ? What underlying conditions contributed to her death, did she just die from something and tested positive ? Consider sending your next word salad to NYT or CNN.

She died from a heart attack because of the Wuhan bat flu that gave her a stroke while she fell out of her 95th floor condo window with a blood clot and was hit by a truck passing by...
Because you’ll believe ....ANYTHING!

That means the virus landed in the US as early as Jan 15. Interesting.

I bet it started in December. I know several people who had unusual 'colds' or felt achey and lethargic 3-4 months ago.
