For as long as he can remember, Jaceon Cornado has dreamed of having a flat chest. When he turned 18 in the spring of 2017, the transgender teen eagerly started planning his surgical transition. ”This surgery is something I need to continue to get up in the mornings every day,” Cornado told NBC News. Just six months after his 18th birthday — and a year after the Obama administration lifted the transgender military ban (which would later be reversed by the Trump administration) — Cornado joined the U.S. Army in a combat role. Common sense shows itself in this time of crisis. No need for these surgeries or abortions in this time of crisis. And with some of us all thinking "near my God to thee" during it - maybe when we come out of it we can reconsider abortion and the emphasis on "trans" - which is a mental illness anyway.

Curb Your Enthusiasm did a season finale, with Chaz, the daughter of Sonny and Cher, who is now Chaz, in a starring role. Chaz has made the full transition to male, and the story was that he requested and received a remarkably large penis. It is so large, he knocks stuff over, breaking a wristwatch in Larry's custody, and finally, knocking over a coffee cup, burning down two coffee shops. It was funnier to see than read about.

One has to wonder why a disproportionate number of victims of corona virus are male. One might question whether there is a link between being HIV positive (mostly gay males) and this higher occurence in the male population. But don't expect Andersen Cooper or Don Lemon to report any facts or stats that would link the gay community to the spread of the virus. Just noting that the epidemic originated in China is enough for CNN to label you a racist bigot.

There were over 74,000 cases of coronavirus in the United States as of Thursday midday. About half were in New York -- almost 10 times more than any other state. Why has the outbreak hit New York so much harder than other places? Health experts said the answers are largely specific to the New York metropolitan area -- its density and population, primarily -- but they are also a warning to other states that think they may be spared.
