Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden was mocked on Tuesday after mistakenly ranting about ‘AR-14s’ to a Detroit auto worker. On Tuesday, after the auto worker accused Biden of “trying to diminish our second amendment right and take away our guns,” the former vice president replied, “You’re full of sh**,” before mistakenly rambling about “AR-14s” instead of AR-15 rifles. Following the confrontation, “AR-14” quickly became the number one trending topic on Twitter, with social media users mocking Biden en-masse over his latest mistake. (Tweets)

Not that biden isn't a complete moron, but this is an example of why everybody on twitter is a moron, too. There really was an AR-14.

AR 14 now called M1A is a great rifle, replaced by the puny M-16, which has been greatly improved since initially introduced during the middle of the Viet Nam “conflict”. I doubt that Uncle Joe has ever used or could recognize either of them in the original or present form, or tell one from his 20 gauge shot gun.

This is yet another gaffe and example of bad behavior that will be underreported -- if reported at all -- by the enemedia in its attempt to oust PDJT and put a Dim in the White House.
There is fake news, and then there is "invisible" news.

Good point, #1, but what, maybe 10 prototypes built, ever? I'm not sure any were ever made. And certainly Sleepy Joe never heard of it. The AR-10 (larger caliber, 7.62 NATO) was produced in small numbers for the military, various take-offs in production today. And the AR-5, designed for aircrew survival rifle, adopted in small numbers by the USAF.
There is an AR-7, a .22 rifle which comes apart and stores in it's stock. Still in production by Henry.
All great fun..... but Joe is still full of beans and showing his dementia more each day.

#3, no that was the M-14, a full auto rifle, and the M1A is the semi-auto version.

The M-14 was the replacement for the M-1 Garand. It is a semi- automatic rifle like the M-1. The difference between them is the the M-14 fires the 7.62 mm NATO round, and could be switched to automatic mode like the M1A1 carbine. It’s use was restricted to semiautomatic mode because it was wild in fully auto mode. The old M-1 was still the better rifle, all 9.1 lbs of it.

#BidensCognitiveDecline is trending. A candidate for President does not tell a voter they are full of “$hit”. Why are the embarrassing this man? He clearly is in a state of dementia.

If you don't already own an M1A, and you should, get one.
Highly recommended.

Of course it was the M-14. That was my Biden talking. It may have been used as fully auto, a waste of good ammo, but usually it was used semi auto, and not much different from the M1A. And the preceding M-1 is a great rifle also. I Remember the M-1 thumb from mandatory training in freshman college, before enlisting in the Army when the M-14 was the standard rifle and .45 Colt the standard handgun for officers. I could never hit a barn door with that, but some people could use it very accurately, and has stood the test of time very well. I don’t claim to be an expert, but always appreciated firearms, the directed energy.

AR stands for Armalite which never made an AR14! Their first introduction of the rifle in Vietnam was a disaster but further refinement has made it awesome. The Garbage Rod (Mosin Nagant) shoots a 7.62X51R and kicks like a mule...even though it weighs as much as a WW2 Tiger Tank! The AR on the other hand with it's buffer tube "plinks" with very little recoil and bullet blasts out of the barrel faster than the speed of sound...hence the distinctive BANG if one doesn't have your ears on! But it is awesome!!! Not that I own either...just sayin! The Trijicon nuclear Red Dot is amazing! A navy seal sighted mine...oops...a "friends" for 25 yards and 300 yards for me! Then he installed awesome Iron Sights. He smiled and said...I love the look of that gun... Nickel Barrel!

Just last week Biden said he was going to appoint the extreme anti-gun activist Beto O’Rourke to carry out his anti-gun agenda after he is elected. So who was full of crap in that conversation between Biden and some potential voters in Detroit?
