President Donald Trump attended Sunday’s Game 5 of the World Series at Nationals Park, but he wasn’t the recipient of a warm welcome. Not even close. Trump, who did not arrive in time for the national anthem or first pitch, was shown on the videoboard ahead of the fourth inning during a Salute to Veterans in-game segment. The crowd immediately responded by booing Trump loudly. After initially boing Trump, the crowd continued into a “lock him up” chant. Trump is the subject of an impeachment inquiry by the House of Representatives.

And you know who was in those stands? All the overpaid, under worked, bureaucrats who comprise the nuts and bolts of the deep state. And who Trump is doing his best to eradicate, department by department. Meanwhile, if I, or most conservatives, had been in the stands when then President Obama threw out his girly pitch for a contemporaneous world series, I would not have said a word, although I considered him to be the most divisive, destructive, and corrosive person, to have ever held that esteemed office. But then again, conservatives have good manners. Progressives have Katie Hill as their current debauched,, amoral, and repulsive poster child.

Well Crud. I gave up the NFL a few years ago. I figure most know why. Have *always* disliked round-ball, what with the LaBron (sic) and Artest types as far back as Wilt the Stilt. My home town College foo-baw team just got upended. The last thing I had left was basey-baw. Thanks to all you lefTards who haven't the sense G_d gave a goose, I'm gonna keep to my fishin' boat and my favorite high school ball teams. I used to have so many diversions. Now I have ill feelings about most of them. Oh well. Money now stays in my wallet. More's the pity for those who have to survive on those paltry million dollar salaries.

Many decades ago, an Orthodox priest taught his children to always “consider the source” when being confronted unfairly—advice that has served his children and those with whom they shared his wisdom very well. In this instance, consider these possible sources: Leftist money akin to rent-a-mob money; Leftist/East Coast elitists; foolish, petty, jealous, stubborn people. Godspeed, Mr. President--American patriots are with you.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden didn’t appear to get any kind of post-convention bounce in the polls – but he’s definitely getting a huge boost in fundraising. The former vice president’s campaign is expected to announce this week a record-breaking August haul of more than $300 million, according to a report from the New York Times. The fundraising – split between the Biden campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and their shared committees – would appear to shatter the previous monthly record by a presidential campaign, which was set by then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama in September of 2008.

This year’s presidential election confronts voters with the most consequential choice they have faced in decades, and for many, their lifetimes: between a divisive, authoritarian-leaning incumbent and a seasoned patriot who brings not only five decades of experience, ability and commitment to American values, but also bold ideas at a time of national crisis. Nothing less than the health of our constitutional democracy is at stake. So stark is the contrast between Donald Trump and Joe Biden that we feel compelled to announce our endorsement of the Democratic nominee and his running mate, Sen. I woke up in the morning wondering about the dark red rays coming from behind the curtain. While I expected the darkened sky, the degree of darkness and the fact that I couldn’t smell fire surprised me. Northern California fires have become increasingly common over the last decade as a consequence of mismanaging the environment. Native Americans staged controlled burns to safeguard their villages and create favorable hunting conditions. We failed to emulate that practice, and, as even Mother Jones concedes, so much fuel accumulated in the wilderness that megafires began burning year after year.

Most dramatically, the number of Arab countries recognizing Israel’s right to exist has doubled, from two to four, a leap that is reshaping 75 years of Middle East politics before our eyes.
