A Brooklyn Park man who allegedly attacked his landlord with an ax in 2017 has been found incompetent. Court documents show that Samuel Omwando Nyaboga, 47, was found incompetent on Wednesday. He faces second-degree murder and second-degree assault after allegedly striking his landlord with an ax multiple times when she stopped by the residence to speak with him on Nov. 17, 2017. Nyaboga was allegedly facing eviction. The court is scheduled to hold another hearing for Nyaboga in November.
Two shooters were overpowered as they fired at classmates at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado Tuesday, according to police. Cops Say Devon Erickson, 18, and an underage accomplice opened fire at the school, killing one and injuring eight others. Erickson appeared in school musicals and seemed popular, but he apparently had a dark side too. His car was spray-painted with the words “F*** Society," and on the roof were the numbers 666 and a pentagram. Inside Edition found a disturbing post on Erickson´s Facebook page that read, “You know what I hate? All these Christians who hate gays.”

President Trump asserted executive privilege on Wednesday in a bid to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s unredacted report and underlying documents from subpoena by the House Judiciary Committee. The president’s move came after the Justice Department, late Tuesday night, requested that the House Judiciary Committee postpone a scheduled vote on to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena to provide the Mueller files to the panel. The Justice Department warned that if the committee did not postpone the vote, the attorney general would recommend that Trump claim executive privilege over the materials.
