When Will The Climate Liars Stop Lying?

For nearly 40 years, the global warming cabal has spread fear and wasted resources on an emergency that doesn’t exist. While their influence has begun to wane, as their credibility has crashed and their lies have been exposed, the fabrications, exaggerations, and junk science continue. How much longer must we endure their campaign of rancid propaganda? The dawning moment of the global warming movement was NASA scientist James Hansen’s June 1988 testimony before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. “In my opinion,”

In my limited experience, the same people who extolled the 'life-saving' covid 'vaccines' are the same people who lie awake at night worrying about climate change. Some can be identified because they're still wearing their Fauci Face Masks ©

Yes, it has always been about the money. How else could Algore pay his $25K per month electric bill and John Heinz Carry pay for his yacht and other concerned environmentalists pay for their private planes? So many Euros are laughing at us that I lost count.

Much as people were afraid for their jobs and professions if they refused the Covid vaccine or publicly denied Pandemic measures, many have been fearful of objecting to what honest folks now admit is the myth of man-made Climate hysteria. TV weather broadcasters and especially academics whose positions are dependent on grant funding simply cannot risk publicly disagreeing and that difficulty will not disappear overnight till money is no longer tied to the lies.

They'll never stop their lies until the whole lot of them are defunded, disbanded, and maybe hopefully some will go to prison for their lies. Then again, I wouldn't count on that prison part. It's more than the money folks. The main driver of all the global warming/climate change lies is control over the masses. Just saw an article on another site where "scientists" are calling for reversing population growth of the world to 4 billion or less people by the year 2200. Why? Well, climate change, shriek! They go on to treat anyone who is gullible enough to read further the same garbage we've been hearing about for decades. CO2 blah, blah, blah; ecological footprint blah, blah, blah; an increase in energy consumption blah, blah, blah, and so on and so forth. Oh! Btw, the study relies on data from the good 'ol U.N. Everyone knows the U.N. is trustworthy (wink, wink).

A lot of scientists are working on alternative ideas of how climate change occurs, and the way the Democratic party insists everything we see is more reason to fund global warmingism is absolutely NOT helping those badly affected by weather events. Like hanging out with Druids, or Incas or whatever, and every time it snows they want to sacrifice a couple more teenagers and if I object it just shows i have no sensitivity or compassion and am not up on Science.

What If Nobody Wants To Run Mamdani’s
Grocery Stores?

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist dream of government-run grocery stores is off to a bad start. He’s already had to admit that customers will have to carry proof of residency to shop in them, that private companies — not the city — will run the stores, and that the first one won’t open for more than a year, and others not for three years. But Mamdani’s likely to face an even bigger problem if no legitimate grocer wants to get into bed with him. The “request for proposals” tacitly admits that his idea of government-run stores was stillborn, since he wants bids from private companies that have extensive experience

Given the unchecked flood of illegal immigration now taking place across the European continent and Britain, the headline above asks a valid question: Will Europe in the future exist only as a territory, but not as a civilization and a culture? Spain is the latest flashpoint in Europe’s battle to maintain control over its borders. Last week’s stunning border break in Ceuta, a North African enclave that has been part of Spain for over 400 years, should be a wake-up call for all of Europe and the U.S., too. More than 60,000 migrants crossed en masse, with at least 57 dying in the violent chaos of breaking through the border and swimming

Early this summer, President Donald Trump eked out marginal gains in voters’ perceptions of his presidential performance. But in August, those gains weren’t repeated. Trump’s favorability among voters remained flat, even as the Iran war flared once again, pushing global energy prices higher. Each month, the national online I&I/TIPP Poll asks American voters to assess presidential performance, starting with: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable, generally unfavorable, or are you not familiar enough to say one way or the other?” In August’s poll, 39% held a “favorable” opinion of Trump’s time in office, versus a slim majority

We had to look twice at this headline in the New York Times to believe it. “In Trump’s Economy, Job Gains Go to Women. That’s Not an Entirely Good Thing.” Huh? Is the Times complaining that men are being shut out of the workforce? Maybe the subhead will clear things up? Nope. It says “Despite the administration’s best attempts, the diminishing status of many American jobs is driving a spike in women’s employment.” “Best attempts”? At what? Driving down women’s employment? Is that really something the Trump administration has been putting its “best efforts” to achieve?

Every day, it seems, brings a new story of government fraud, which raises two questions: Why is fraud so rampant? And why is so little being done to combat it? An answer to both can be found in the more than 200 programs that the federal government pays for, but the states run. These are programs that spend a total of $1.2 trillion a year, and despite their openness to fraud, the government does little to combat it. The money to fund these programs passes through several hands, including state and local government agencies, private contractors, and so on, before reaching a beneficiary. And “every level added to the flow of funds

Feasibility studies for a high-speed rail project began in 2006. By 2018, the first section was completed and opened, seven years after construction was started. Where is this bullet train? Not in California. It’s in Morocco. California voters approved in 2008 a ballot measure for a “safe, convenient, affordable, and reliable alternative to driving and high gas prices” by a 53%-47% margin. Golden Staters were sold a train that would require a $10 billion bond and cost $33 billion to complete. Within a dozen years it would be ripping up and down the state at 220 mph, ferrying passengers between San Diego and Sacramento.

A Fox News poll finds that a majority of Democrats say they have a favorable view of the Democratic Socialists of America. Support for the Democratic Socialists of America is even stronger, with 59% of Democrats expressing a favorable view, compared with 6% of Republicans. One year ago, the International Court of Justice in The Hague declared that all nations are obligated to protect the sky from greenhouse gas emissions. It’s unfortunate, but climate zealotry stubbornly hangs on. The global warming cabal, which is less concerned with climate than abolishing capitalism and advancing their cult, has been showing cracks in recent years. A little more than a year ago, we noted that “our friend Steven Hayward,” a university professor and incisive thinker, had written “a compelling essay … about ‘The Nadir of the Climate Change Movement.'”

(Why does the Bard look like a Rastafarian?) But it’s leftists who should be even more upset about the people chosen for key roles. Sure, the movie checks all the diversity boxes, which, according to our friends at Unleash Prosperity, is mandatory if you want your film to be considered for Best Picture in today’s leftist-controlled Hollywood. So, Nolan appeased the left’s diversity gods with a cast that, according to one count, is 50% white, 24% Latino and Hispanic, 12% black, and 9%

The FDA granted approval for two age groups, adults 50 to 65 and adults 65 and up, on the condition that Moderna run an additional clinical trial in the older group, the company said in a release. In a late-stage trial, mFlusiva was found to be about 27% more effective than a standard flu shot. Many scientists and public health experts have touted the idea of an mRNA-based flu vaccine, which uses the same messenger RNA platform as the Covid vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer.

Socialists have won one Democratic primary after another this year. Of course, Democratic primary voters represent a thin slice, the leftward-most portion, of our electorate. Still, socialism as a viable popular movement in the United States represents a radical departure from our history. How wide is the appeal of socialism, really? Rasmussen headlines “Voters Overwhelmingly Reject DSA Policies,” and its findings are interesting. But while the Rasmussen survey tests four policies being advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America, socialism is not one of them. And I don’t find the results to be particularly reassuring:

Socialists think poor people have too little money, and rich people have too much. I happen to think the truth is somewhat the opposite. A big problem is that poor people in America have too much money despite their proven inability to manage it. Poor people consume monster meals and quart-sized sodas at McDonalds, lease gas-guzzling trucks that are too big for the road, buy lousy food that is too much for them to eat, and get 100” TVs even though there’s nothing on. But for purposes of the discussion, let’s accept the premise: Poor people have too little money.

Liberals are quick to blame forest fires on “climate change,” without any evidence as to how the conditions under which a particular fire broke out are different from those of last year or decades ago. In fact, acreage lost to wildfires is at an all-time low because of improved forest management techniques. Worldwide, acreage burned by wildfires is believed to be lower than ever before, including pre-human historical times. In the U.S., acreage burned is down by around 80% since the 1920s and 1930s, as the Healthy Skeptic notes: (Chart) The recent slight uptick is due, I believe, to the fact that California has turned forest management over to environmentalists,
