UPDATE: NBC has officially called the Michigan Senate race for far-left Democratic Socialist Abdul El-Sayed.
Islamo-Marxist Abdul El-Sayed appears on track to defeat the so-called moderate Democrat in the Michigan Democratic Primary for Senator.
Stevens was backed by Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Senator Chuck Schumer.
El-Sayed will now face former Rep. Mike Rogers, who ran unopposed in the GOP primary, in the November general election. El-Sayed has denied that he is a socialist, but he’s attended and spoken at at least six DSA events over the years, according to Fox.
“I’m not technically or practically DSA,” he claimed in an interview last month. “I am not somebody who is a socialist.

A Westchester County police bigwig and her ex-con hubbie chaperoned their gangbanger son to a botched hit on a rival in the Bronx – then she took over as the getaway driver, officials said Tuesday.
Mount Vernon Deputy Police Commissioner Jennifer Lackard, 49, and her husband James Lackard drove their 20-year-old son Chase Lackard to Concourse on June 29 at around 11:57 a.m. and helped him plan a brazen hit right outside the Bronx Criminal Court, according to police and court records.
Once there, the proud parents sat in the front of the family’s Chrysler Pacifica while their “Slutty Gang” member son opened fire with a semiautomatic out of the window

NBC News projected early Wednesday that Abdul El-Sayed defeated Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) in the state's Democrat senatorial primary. Our partner DDHQ has also just called the race. Establishment Democrats are freaking out right now. Bernie Sanders’ organization Our Revolution also declared victory in the race. "Last night, Michigan delivered one of the clearest messages of this election cycle: people power can beat big money,” Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution, said in a statement. “Abdul El-Sayed was outspent by nearly ten to one, facing the largest single-race AIPAC investment in history and tens of millions of dollars from billionaire-backed super PACs determined to buy this election.

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist dream of government-run grocery stores is off to a bad start. He’s already had to admit that customers will have to carry proof of residency to shop in them, that private companies — not the city — will run the stores, and that the first one won’t open for more than a year, and others not for three years.
But Mamdani’s likely to face an even bigger problem if no legitimate grocer wants to get into bed with him.
The “request for proposals” tacitly admits that his idea of government-run stores was stillborn, since he wants bids from private companies that have extensive experience

Liberals are quick to blame forest fires on “climate change,” without any evidence as to how the conditions under which a particular fire broke out are different from those of last year or decades ago.
In fact, acreage lost to wildfires is at an all-time low because of improved forest management techniques. Worldwide, acreage burned by wildfires is believed to be lower than ever before, including pre-human historical times. In the U.S., acreage burned is down by around 80% since the 1920s and 1930s, as the Healthy Skeptic notes: (Chart) The recent slight uptick is due, I believe, to the fact that California has turned forest management over to environmentalists,

Socialists have won one Democratic primary after another this year. Of course, Democratic primary voters represent a thin slice, the leftward-most portion, of our electorate. Still, socialism as a viable popular movement in the United States represents a radical departure from our history. How wide is the appeal of socialism, really?
Rasmussen headlines “Voters Overwhelmingly Reject DSA Policies,” and its findings are interesting. But while the Rasmussen survey tests four policies being advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America, socialism is not one of them. And I don’t find the results to be particularly reassuring:

The gangbanging son of a Westchester County police bigwig had a Bronx court date just minutes before he allegedly opened fire on a rival – with his cop mom and ex-con dad as getaway drivers, prosecutors said Wednesday. Chase Lackard, 20, faced a judge on a 2024 gun rap just 20 minutes before the alleged June 29 drive-by gang shooting – with help from his mom, disgraced Mount Vernon Deputy Police Commissioner Jennifer Lackard, and drug-dealing dad James Lackard, according to prosecutors.

The way things are going in America, with communism in the ascendancy, Iran knows it cannot prevail or even implement its jihad against America so long as Trump is in the White House. The plan, then, is to run out the clock until Trump is gone. Then, after the midterms, if Democrats win, they will attack a weakened America, the voters of which had the unfathomable chutzpah to install even more communists in Congress and governorships and courts.
America will be weaker the moment Trump leaves office. The left still plans to impeach him, and jihadists plan to destroy us.

Donald Trump was President of the United States, and James Comey was his employee.
Comey was terrible at his job and was engaged in a massive conspiracy to slander and perhaps imprison the president, pushing conspiracy theories he knew to be false, leaking false information to the media through intermediaries, including information that was classified, and hence he broke the law.
President Trump fired him. Comey's allies in the FBI opened a criminal investigation into the president for exercising his constitutional duties as Chief Executive of the United States.

The Spanish immigration crisis has exposed cracks in the European Union and an opportunity for right-wing leaders heading into elections next year in Spain, Italy and France.
Last week, tens of thousands of migrants poured over the Spanish border at Ceuta, a North African exclave ruled by Spain since 1580. The small coastal city is situated on a narrow peninsula on the southern edge of the Strait of Gibraltar between Spain and Morocco — the only place where a European border touches Africa.
Instead of fully backing Spain as they may have done in the past, more than 20 European leaders instead criticized —

Apparently, in Michigan Democrat Party politics, you can never be antisemitic enough. If you support Israel's mere right to exist, you will be excommunicated from polite company.
That's not much of an exaggeration. Pux Cider bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a longtime Democrat Party hangout, both because its proprietors are lefties and because it happens to be located next door to the Kent County Democrat Party headquarters.
It's the sort of place where they hold LGBTQ+ World Cup watch parties or events for Democratic women, such as the one that recently featured Haley Stevens and other Democrat Party women.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday celebrated progressive Abdul El-Sayed's win in the Michigan Democratic Senate primary, hailing it as a boon to Republicans.
El-Sayed narrowly defeated Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich., in the Democratic primary. What had been expected to be a clear win for him, however, ended up being a close contest that the Associated Press did not call until Wednesday morning. He will face former Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., in the general election.
Trump, for his part, suggested that El-Sayed's win was a benefit to Rogers.
