The Beclowning of a President

Original Article

Posted By: Elljay, 6/12/2026 11:27:24 AM

At least 39 times in the last 65 days, the President of the United States has declared the United States and Iran were close to a deal only to have the Iranians openly mock him and deny it. (Snip) The President, the other days, said Iran was playing us. The only one being played is President Trump. A state of war exists between Iran and its neighbors. The ceasefire is a farce. The President has turned into a clown.

Comments:

The TACO Thursdays keep piling up. He’s being made a fool by a thug fascist regime.

The writer of this article is an idiot. Does he think that if Trump just went in and destroyed the Iranian government including boots on the ground (which would be needed), the leftist would not make this their mantra? "Trump is spending money on a needless war to support terrorist Israel while allowing poor Americans to starve and die because they don't have free healthcare" What Trump is doing is bypassing the Iranians by having 12 ships carrying oil go through the strait each day under the nose of Iran and thus keeping the price of oil from rising any further. He is also selectively destroying Iranian infrastructure as needed a little at a time putting enormous internal pressure on the regime. I Iran does sign an agreement they will be held completely accountable to live up to it. If they break it in anyway, Trump will have the perfect right to totally annihilate the regime once and for all and the Democrats will not be able to make a fuss about it. I don't believe that Trump actually believes that Iran will uphold their end of any agreement but with a signed agreement, it takes away the Democrats talking points and gives him the ability to punish Iran for breaking the agreement. This guy Erick-Woods Erickson is not very bright and plays checkers instead of 3D Chess.

Trump understands what the armchair generals don't. When weak, appear strong. When strong, appear weak. He would rather have Iran defeat itself internally than expend American lives in some cavalry charge. Thr actual fighting has not yet started.

#1 I agree with you, mostly; however, the author does have a point, in that, I'm really tired of waking up to no deal when one had been promised! Albeit, I do not believe any deal with Iran is worth the paper it's written on! One cannot ever trust someone who wishes you dead!

Do not like this article one bit. Also the "TACO" label is stupid and more than that, so wrong. I do not need this kind of negativity on Lucianne. It is already on 95% of all the coverage out there.

Did any on you read the article that Donald Trump says the latest article/reference to a deal in Iran is fake news? Some of the comments here are tiring because you have no idea what this President of the USA is having to deal with. So in response to #3, I am really tired of the negative comments here on this site. We knew in July 2024 after the first assassination attempt that if Donald Trump won, he was going to have a long road. Cleaning up after 12 years of Barack Obama/Joe Biden and Joe Biden/Kamala Harris administrations was going to be a long, arduous task. Just like the RINO Republicans/politicians, I think there are RINO supporters so to summarize - I am extremely tired of the RINO supporters and their weak support. . .

I have my doubts as to whether a deal is imminent but I find it crazy to hope there isn’t a deal as this writer does. I suspect the author won’t be satisfied until there are boots on the ground and our country is stuck in an endless regime change operation.

Let's start with the assumption that Trump is not a fool. (If you disagree, you are one.) He knows that the only satisfactory outcome is regime change. He won't say that because it would focus his critics' attention where he doesn't want it. His strategy is an ancient one: he has placed Iran under siege, and he's starving them out. Sieges always take time, but he has plenty of that. Sit back, relax, enjoy the show.

Millions of migrants who entered the United States illegally will be forced to remain behind bars while their deportation proceedings continue for months or even years under a new Trump administration policy. The acting director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Todd M. Lyons, told agents in a July 8 memo that migrants will no longer be eligible for a bond hearing and should be detained 'for the duration of their removal proceedings.'

On January 20, 2025, the first day of his second presidential term, Donald Trump signed an executive order: “Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship.” The bad old days of the “censorship-industrial complex,” allegedly responsible for suppressing online speech under President Joe Biden, were over. Except they weren’t. The driving force behind online censorship had never been the U.S. government, which meant that freedom of speech could not be restored by the stroke of a president’s pen. Rather, the European Union has wielded its Digital Services Act (DSA) to restrict the speech not just of Europeans but especially of Americans and other English-speakers.

There’s a plausible argument that the current spate of civil unrest in deep blue cities is actually a MAGA setup ultimately benefitting Donald J. Trump. Indeed, the “optics” resemble an over-the-top horror movie for the Democrats: giant Mexican flags brandished over burning car wrecks; chunks of cement dropped on police from freeway overpasses; uncontrolled looting; a curfew ignored; molotov cocktails thrown; childishly scrawled f-word graffiti, and vast arrays of mostly young but physically unattractive people. Where’s the mass appeal in that picture? Hollywood would reject a script like that as unbelievable and disgusting.

The debate about the massive cost overruns in Minnesota’s free health care for illegal aliens program is facing looming cuts even as Democrats vow to “fight until the very end” for the freebies paid for by taxpayers. The state’s Democrat party, the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), is loudly defending the massive healthcare giveaways even as far left-wing governor and failed Democrat nominee for Vice President Tim Walz admits the program is suffering from an unplanned and unsustainable growth in spending.

Since President Trump returned to the White House, activist judges — mostly from deep-blue strongholds like California, D.C., and Massachusetts — have lined up to sabotage his agenda.  These judges have thrown out wave after wave of temporary restraining orders and nationwide injunctions to block his key initiatives: shutting down toxic DEI programs, deporting dangerous criminal illegal aliens, and slashing wasteful foreign aid.

The battle between the Trump administration and the federal courts on the topic of deportation is intensifying. The outlines are clear. Biden and his corrupt cronies left the U.S. southern border wide open for four years. Estimates vary but it’s likely 8 million illegal aliens crossed the border. But the actual number could be 10 million or higher. Of course, some just came for a better opportunity, but many were murderers, terrorists, rapists, sex traffickers, Chinese spies and every sort of violent low life you can imagine.

Despite landslide victories in 2024 that put Trump in the Presidency and Republicans in control of Congress, Trump’s agenda to reverse the Biden Immigration Invasion is being aggressively blocked by radical activist federal judges…Though Trump’s DOJ has scored reversals in some of the more egregious cases, many federal district court judges still find ways to ignore the higher court rulings. Or they simply order new overreaching temporary restraining orders (TROs) that under court rules ordinarily can’t be appealed for a period as long as 28 days. Then the same or different judge comes along with a new bizarre TRO to keep deportations frozen or derailed. It’s assembly line lawfare.

As aspects of President Donald Trump's agenda are stymied by judges amid legal challenges, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has suggested that Congress could strip federal courts of jurisdiction. "Congress has the authority to strip jurisdiction of the federal courts to decide these cases in the first place. The sabotaging of President Trump’s agenda by ‘resistance’ judges was predictable — why no jurisdiction-stripping bills tee’d up at the onset of this Congress?" DeSantis wrote in a Wednesday post on X.

Hobbs has since been charged with capital murder. Cops swooped on the Mendenhall home just after noon for a welfare check after worried relatives couldn’t make contact — but they encountered gunfire upon their arrival. It's certainly not what the Founding Fathers intended. Now, one House member may have the answer to this dilemma. Republican Rep.
