Tuesday on MS NOW’s “Morning Joe,” former first lady Jill Biden said she believed her husband, former President Joe Biden, would have beaten Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Biden said, “I mean, Joe had to decide whether to run again. But like you said, you know, we did well, the Democrats did well in the midterms, and in 2023, the Democratic Party was totally behind Joe, and people, everywhere I went, ‘Joe’s got to do it again. He’s got to run. He’s got to run. And he was like, ‘Well, I don’t know’ – you know – ‘Am I too old?’ I mean, it was the age question

Former New York Times reporter Paul Krugman, who worked for the outlet for more than two decades, is clearly grasping for relevance in his retirement and he's doing so by calling for violence against Trump supporters. The guy who once said the Internet's impact on the economy would be no different than the fax machine thinks the country needs a 'thorough purging' and he's targeting MAGA as the group that needs to go. [Tweet, video] "We need to de-fang Trump as much as possible and make sure that neither he nor anybody who follows in his footsteps has power after the next two elections," Krugman said.

Longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent Scott Pelley is out of the famed news program.
Pelley, who spent over 30 years at CBS News, has been fired from the company after a clash with new "60 Minutes" top producer Nick Bilton, Business Insider has confirmed.
"Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear," Bilton wrote in a memo to Pelley that was seen by Business Insider. "I therefore write on behalf of CBS News, Inc. to inform you that your employment with CBS is terminated for cause effective immediately."

The Trump administration has bent over backward to negotiate an end to Iran’s grand plans to develop nuclear weapons—before the June 2025 bombing, afterward, and again during the follow-up diplomacy of spring 2026.
Yet Iran is unlikely ever to abandon its pursuit of the bomb voluntarily. With nuclear weapons, Tehran hopes to become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. Only then could it effectively coerce or deter both Israel and the wealthy Arab Gulf states. And that is the charitable view, one that excludes the possibility of a messianic Shiite theocracy believing that eliminating the “one-bomb” state of Israel would forever ensure the Shiite minority permanent preeminence

Kirkwood, Missouri, is an appealing suburb about 15 miles from St. Louis City. The city was founded in 1853 and is the first planned suburb west of the Mississippi.
Many families flock to the area for its suburban school system and safe environment.
But for those parents who thought their kids were getting a well-rounded education in Kirkwood, they may want to think again. Recently, the woke president of the Kirkwood School Board, Judy Moticka, took to Facebook and called for the assassination of President Trump.
Judy is a school board leader but wants President Trump killed and is not ashamed to admit her views on her Facebook account!

In California, the term “Election Day” is really a misnomer — it’s election month, at least. Ballots were sent out for Tuesday’s primary on May 4 to every eligible voter, which amounts to over 23 million people. Folks have been voting ever since.
So Tuesday marks the end of a seemingly never-ending period that ends this evening; it’s hardly election day.
Well, perhaps we’ll know the winners and the losers by the end of the evening, you might argue, so we can still call it "election night." Oh no, no, no, this is the Left Coast, and things get strange out here. It can take weeks

Kind of a one-two punch out of ExxonMobil's senior vice president, Neil Chapman, today.
On one hand, a not-so-surprising announcement tying up the loose ends of Exxon's corporate existence. The company, which has long been legally homeported in increasingly business-unfriendly New Jersey, would move that as well, thanks to stockholders giving executives the thumbs-up.
...Chapman delivered his message on the same day that Exxon shareholders approved a plan to move the company's legal home from New Jersey to Texas.
Citing Texas' strong regulatory environment, ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods said the state was a better fit for the company in a statement.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore is facing fresh allegations of having exaggerated his military experience, after a yearlong Spotlight on Maryland investigation yielded “no documentary evidence” to support his claim of having “led soldiers into combat in Afghanistan.”
(Snip) In a May 2022 post on X, Moore wrote, “When I was an Army captain and led soldiers into combat in Afghanistan, we lived by a simple principle: Leave no one behind.”
(Snip) According to the Sun, “Military records reviewed by Spotlight show no evidence that Moore, a lieutenant assigned as a brigade headquarters staff officer, experienced firefights in Afghanistan as his public narrative conveys.”

The Gateway Pundit reported that an anti-ICE rioter, identified as Brendan John Geier, was arrested and charged last week after kicking and biting ICE agents during protests, leaving the agent with horrific bite wounds.
In gruesome photos of agents’ injuries, gashes and teeth marks are seen on the agents’ skin. (Snip) The Justice Department has confirmed to The New York Post that Geier, of Madison, New Jersey, was previously charged with sexual abuse of children related to the dissemination and possession of child pornography in Pennsylvania.

Vandals sabotaged generators at an event for President Trump’s Freedom 250 event, according to a spokeswoman — and fuel leached into underground water tanks, contaminating them.
A generator fuel line set up for temporary lights for a May 17 event was was cut, causing it to seep into underground cisterns that collect rainwater under the Washington, DC, landmark, Freedom 250 spokeswoman Rachel Reisner told NBC News.
“Following the Freedom 250 team’s installation of temporary lighting on the National Mall, our equipment has been repeatedly targeted by vandals. The recent fuel leak was the direct result of that tampering,” she said.

Less than two weeks after a man was killed after opening fire on Secret Service agents mere steps from the White House – and just over a month since unhinged leftist Cole Tomas Allen was charged with trying to assassinate President Trump at the White House Correspondents' Dinner – an Obama-appointed judge has ordered that an "86 47" protest be allowed to continue near 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
On Monday, U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss issued a two-week restraining order against the National Park Service (NPS), which was sued after attempting to revoke the permit of Accountability Now, the leftist, anti-Trump group

Former President Joe Biden crashed his wife Jill’s debut book talk Tuesday, stealing her spotlight to bizarrely ask the former first lady who she loves the most in a cringe-inducing moment before aides could cut him off.
Jill Biden had been wrapping up a Q&A about her newly released book “A View from the East Wing” with moderator Whoopi Goldberg at the 92nd Street Y on the Upper East Side when Biden, 83, left his seat in the audience and wandered up to the edge of the stage.
Goldberg had read a comment from the audience thanking Biden for his service, and Jill, 75, stood up —
Comments:
More anti-Catholic propaganda debunked. And more proof (as if any was needed) that the Left will happily spread any lie that furthers their agenda. Also, Mr. McCarthy, Floyd was not "killed". He died of a lethal dose of drugs.
