Melania Trump blasts ‘coward’ Jimmy
Kimmel over ‘hateful’ monologue delivered

WASHINGTON — First lady Melania Trump savagely criticized ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel as a “coward” Monday after he referred to her as “an expectant widow” two days before Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting. “Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,” Trump, 56, wrote in a post on X. The comic is facing severe backlash after the attack on the gala dinner, in which a Secret Service agent suffered minor injuries after a gunman charged a checkpoint

Comments:

Kimmel the Koward can dish it out but cries like a baby when held to account.

The problem is not Kimmel, Colbert, The View, etc. It's that these 'entertainers' have an audience that is entertained by them. They will not go away as long as they have fawning, paying, clapping seals to sustain them. They deserve shunning. Just don't look.

#4, the shooter had booked a room in the hotel, we all know that. What he did though was use the stairs to get to the lobby area. I cannot believe no agents were stationed in the stairwells. That blows my mind.

It's almost as if Kimmel knew there was going to be an attack on President Trump...so, we need to ask that famous question....what did he know and when did he know it. Kimmel needs to be investigated to find out if he has had any interactions with the accused shooter.

A flood of misinformation, conspiracy theories and false claims about the shooting at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents' Association dinner spread online at a notable and concerningly speedy rate, mostly about the baseless theory that the incident had been staged. (Snip) This time, it was less than two or three hours. The response highlights how conspiracy theories and a knee-jerk skepticism of current events have become the default response for a growing number of Americans, deepened by the loss of trust in institutions and supercharged by starkly partisan politics. “I would have been surprised if they hadn’t developed because we’re

Virginia’s redistricting referendum, which could net Democrats a 10-1 House seat advantage, is spurring Republican legislation that would expand the borders of Washington, D.C., and cost the state Democratic voters. MINNEAPOLIS — Restaurants across Minneapolis, from longtime neighborhood staples to newer concepts, are facing mounting financial pressure, and for some, the strain has already proven too much. Hospitality Minnesota recently said restaurants statewide are nearing a “breaking point,” pointing to a mix of lingering pandemic recovery challenges, tariffs, immigration enforcement impacts, economic uncertainty, and new state policies such as paid family leave and rising minimum wages. Despite a $7.1 billion hole, Mayor Zohran Mamdani has pushed back against any serious cutting to his budget and instead wants to delay required payments to city pension funds. That’s precisely the kind of tactics that brought the city to the brink of bankruptcy in the ’70s. At the least, it will saddle future taxpayers with unnecessary costs. For the moment, the city is on-track to meeting its long-term pension-funding obligations by its 2032 deadline. Yet to help close his budget hole, Mamdani would push $1 billion worth of payments into the 2040s. That would be both costly and risky.
