Hello everybody!
So I may have given a lot of people a surprise today. Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused.

Saturday, following reports of an apparent assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, CNN’s Van Jones raised the possibility of the suspect being made into “some sort of hero.”
The left-leaning Jones cited efforts to lionize Luigi Mangione, and he urged all to condemn political violence.
Jones said, “I’m starting to worry about something, though, which is that the shooter survived, which means on Monday he’s going to court, which means there is a danger that people try to make him some sort of hero. You watch what happened with Luigi [Mangione], who shot a CEO to death and somehow became a hero.

Someone stole 15 giant agricultural drones in New Jersey — and experts fear a “nightmare scenario” if they end up in the hands of terrorists.
The fleet of Ceres Air C31 drones, which are about the size of an ATV, were ripped off March 24 by a bogus delivery driver who duped shipping and logistics company CAC International in Harrison, according to The High Side substack.
The four-armed flyers can carry and spray up to 40 gallons of liquid chemicals, such as fertilizers and pesticides, and unleash the payload over a 15-acre span in just seven minutes. The FBI is concerned the chemical-spraying drones could be used to disperse biological or chemical

The suspected White House Correspondents' Association Dinner shooter, Cole Tomas Allen, signal boosted posts on the left-wing social media platform Bluesky arguing that President Donald Trump should be "immediately removed from office and tried for high crimes" and criticizing a "Freedom of the Press" pocket square that many journalists donned at last night’s dinner as "a white flag that no one can read unless you pull it out and wave it in defeat," a Washington Free Beacon review found, suggesting he thought a stronger message of opposition to the president was called for.

Never mind saving the planet — they just wanted to rock on the boat. Lefty activists reportedly got frisky on the so-called freedom flotilla meant to bring aid to Gaza — becoming the subject of a recent sex scandal. The DC Metropolitan Police announced during a press conference on Saturday night that the armed gunman who opened fire inside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was a registered guest at the Washington Hilton hotel, the venue hosting the high-profile black-tie event attended by President Donald Trump.

A White House Correspondents’ Dinner volunteer said the suspected gunman appeared to assemble a “long” weapon in a lightly monitored area near the terrace-level entrance before opening fire and rushing toward the ballroom.
The witness, Helen Mabus, a volunteer working the event who said she is from Harrisburg, Pa., described a “makeshift room” near the entrance where bar carts were being stored and where “there was no security” at the time.
“He was in that room […] he grabbed it out of a bag or something,” Mabus said, adding that the weapon “was long” and “didn’t look like a typical gun.”

Suspected White House Correspondents' Dinner shooter Cole Tomas Allen is facing at least three charges, authorities said.
Allen, 31, is accused of opening fire as the President gathered with senior cabinet members and thousands of journalists for the annual event on Saturday night.
The dinner at the Washington Hilton was barely underway when the Secret Service was forced to leap into action after a series of shots rang out. They managed to apprehend the suspect after he breached a security checkpoint and exchanged gunfire with law enforcement, authorities said.
The alleged shooter has since been identified as Allen, a teacher from Torrance, California.

President Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts during the 2024 election, and Saturday night he was whisked away again from another lethal threat when a heavily armed gunman briefly breached a security checkpoint at one of Washington's most famous black-tie galas and exchanged gunfire before being subdued by the Secret Service.
But Trump would not recoil.
First he wanted to return to the White House Correspondents' Dinner before it was canceled, hoping to send a signal to a nation gripped by political vitriol and shaken by recent assassinations — from Charlie Kirk to Minnesota legislators – that “sick people” cannot “change the fabric” of the United States.

In the immediate aftermath following the apparent assassination attempt against President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday evening, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency was quick to question whether the shooting was staged.
Tasnim, which has close ties with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), suggested that the shooting at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., as the Correspondents Dinner was commencing, may have been a “big show” intended to bolster President Trump’s approval ratings.
The news agency speculated that it could have been staged to improve President Trump’s position ahead of the upcoming mid-term elections or perhaps to “use it against Iran or another country”.
