Noah’s Ark mystery deepens as researcher

A researcher’s bombshell new findings about a strange rock formation in Turkey could prove that Noah’s Ark was real, according to reports. Andrew Jones, a researcher with Noah’s Ark Scans, told GB News that “exciting new findings” about the rock formation first discovered in 1959 on Turkey’s Mount Ararat could prove the boat from the Book of Genesis once existed.

Comments:

The funniest supermarket tabloid headline I've ever seen - - happened about 30 years ago. It was - - "Noah's Ark Found In Pennsylvania." Nothing since has ever topped that one.

Interesting. If a boat it might mean that the builders were somehow warned in time to construct such a large ship. Days and days of incessant, heavy rains seen to be coming and causing catastrophic flooding. If true, it will be an incredible discovery with major biblical meaning.

#1 The Biblical account implies that Noah and his sons worked on the boat for decades. They faced derision and scorn and likely were thought to be real nut jobs.

Wasn't it found on Mt. Ararat (?sp) in Turkey years ago? Several specials on TV said so.

Re #3, this is on Arrarat. I have seen the mountain from Yerevan, Armenia. On clear days it is extremely prominent, dominates the view. And if you ask people in Yerevan, many have stories of "my grandfather's grandfather who traveled up to see the Ark and they found it was there, but the Turks keep everyone away now for centuries".

I don't see how a rock formation can prove a boat landed there, but I am no expert.

They have known of this site for a long time, but Turkey would not allow access. My husband would love to get some of the "pitch" that was used to water proof it. He would love to test the pitch for human DNA of these people who built the ark. Noah lived 950 years and his son lived 600 years. It would be interesting to compare how man has declined genetically.

A flyer with a classic Brooklyn accent is going viral after saying ICE agents at airports were just there to help and “not bothering nobody” as unbearably long lines continued to snake around terminals Wednesday. Brooklyn resident Chris Scali’s brief interview with News 12 quickly went viral after he shrugged off lefty criticism of the federal agents’ presence at Newark Liberty International Airport this week.

Spring and winter are ready to battle it out across the Northeast this weekend, with brief spurts of 60-degree temperatures for parts of the Interstate 95 corridor, while the interior Northeast and New England prepare for another round of snow. Beyond this first weekend of astronomical spring, winter’s parting shot looms — a split in the polar vortex could plunge temperatures back into the 30s across the region late next week.

ALBANY — Gov. Kathy Hochul is begging wealthy New Yorkers who fled the city to come back and continue padding the Empire State’s lavish public handouts. Hochul made the case against caving to Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s demands that she hike income taxes — by saying she not only wants fat cats to stay in the city, but also clawing at those who have moved to states with better business climates like Florida. “Maybe the first step should be go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded,” the Democratic governor said at a forum hosted by Politico last week.

Four teens were arrested on Monday under suspicion of setting off an explosion outside a Dutch synagogue, which Israel claims was conducted by a new terrorist group. Prosecutors say the teens, who were not publicly identified, were behind the terror attack at a synagogue in the port city of Rotterdam, where the explosion caused a blaze inside the temple on Friday. The arson attack was specifically “aimed at instilling serious fear in a population group, in this case the Jewish community,” the Rotterdam Public Prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli just revealed that New York City is now spending $81,000 per street homeless person — in a town where average take-home pay is no higher than $40,600. And Mayor Zohran Mamdani want to spend more: City Hall projects it to hit nearly $97,000 in the coming year. Overall, this spending has skyrocketed from $102 million in 2018 to $368 million last year, up 320% even as the street-homeless population grew just 26%.

Donald Trump has always been the anti-Obama. He rose in opposition to President Barack Obama and has reversed many of his policies. But perhaps no Trump undertaking runs so directly counter to Obama’s approach than the Iran War. Obama sought to accommodate the Iranian regime, while Trump hopes to topple it.

New York City continues its tragic decline under the failed stewardship of buffoonish Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as spotlighted by a disturbing video showing three out-of-shape NYPD officers failing to restrain a subway thug. The incident, which occurred on a subway platform in the Bronx, underscores how Mamdani‘s embrace of anti-meritocratic DEI hiring practices has eroded public safety and emboldened criminals. The video, which was originally posted on Instagram, was reposted on X on Monday. “Three NYPD officers are unable to take down one thug at the Tremont Avenue subway stop in NYC,” an X user observed.

Virginia voters on Tuesday approved a redistricting referendum that will allow the state legislature to redraw its congressional maps outside the normal cycle in a manner expected to favor Democrats. The Associated Press called the contest in favor of the yes campaign just before 9:00 p.m., with 84% of precincts reporting. As of press time, "yes" stood at just over 50% of the vote. The state currently has six Democratic members of Congress and five Republicans. The planned Democratic map is expected to produce 10 Democratic-leaning seats and one Republican-leaning seat. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday that Iran and the United States should reach an agreement similar to former President Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal in order to make peace. “If the current efforts of the Iranian and American negotiators, which we support, result in something like the 2015 agreement, I think it would be a great success,” Lavrov said at a press conference after meeting with Taher al-Baour, the acting foreign minister of one of Libya’s two governments. Libya was torn in half and became infested with terrorists and warlords after Obama attacked the country in 2011 to change its regime.

One leader of the 2017 Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, Va., received roughly $270,000 over an eight-year period. Neither that person nor others were identified in the 14-page indictment.

In May last year, Omar (D-Minn.) claimed she and her husband, Tim Mynett, held assets worth between $6 million and $30 million. However, an amended filing reported by the Wall Street Journal last week put the couple’s wealth at between $18,004 and $95,000. The lawmaker claimed the initial filing was riddled with accounting errors.
