Three Norwegian brothers of Iraqi descent were arrested Wednesday for allegedly carrying out a “terror bombing” at the US embassy in Oslo over the weekend — as investigators probe whether it was done on behalf of a foreign state. The three suspects, who have not yet been publicly identified, are accused of setting off an IED that damaged the entrance to the embassy’s consular section around 1 a.m. local time on Sunday, according to authorities. “They are suspected of a terror bombing,” Police Attorney Christian Hatlo told reporters at a news conference. The three siblings, all in their 20’s, are Norwegian citizens of Iraqi descent. Police had not previously investigated the trio

Wouldn't surprise me if they have a father who was an Iraqi asylum seeker to Norway in the early 2000s and a Norwegian mother.

The Army is offering a fat reward for the capture of two thieves who stole drones from a base — amid fears of a possible Iranian drone strike on US soil. The Army Criminal Investigation Division is offering a $5,000 reward for info leading to the arrest of the thieves who lifted the drones from Kentucky’s Fort Campbell in November. The drones were stolen between Nov. 21 and 24, but officials didn’t reveal when they were discovered missing. The drones were Skydio X10D systems — light, long-range quadcopters used for aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.

Gridlock could be a thing of the past for New Yorkers — as the metropolitan area has been selected to become a test zone for high-flying air taxies. The program will allow Big Apple travelers to shuttle via air transport from places like Manhattan to the local airports for the price of a luxury car service — after the Trump administration on Monday named New York and several other cities to be part of the air taxi tests. The Port Authority will partner with several aerospace companies to run the three-year test — in which helicopter-like air vehicles will ferry users from short runways and heliports to places such as

Now that the Virginia General Assembly has passed what it calls “assault weapon ban” legislation, all that’s needed is for Gov. Abigail Spanberger to sign it into law, which is all but a given. Once signed, Senate Bill 749 will likely take effect as soon as July 1, 2026. The law will ban the sale, import, manufacture, purchase, and transfer of what it describes as “assault firearms,” and it will treat high-capacity magazines that can hold 15 rounds or more in the same way. It will make any violations of the law a “Class 1 misdemeanor,” which could mean up to a year in jail and a $2,500

In a video posted to Instagram, Biden stated: I entered the role of first lady in a unique time in our nation’s history, in the midst of a pandemic and the shadow of an insurrection. Those days tested all of us—our resilience, our compassion, and our belief in one another—but we persevered. Serving in the historic East Wing was the honor of my life.

A dark money group of left-wing environmental activists has been quietly "training" judges overseeing climate-related lawsuits, hosting them at multi-day, all-expenses-paid seminars in locales like Napa Valley and Palm Beach. Judges who attend these luxury retreats—where they are subject to indoctrination—are not required to report them in ethics disclosures. At the "Judicial Leaders in Climate Science" seminars, representatives of the activist group, the Climate Judiciary Project, present to the judges contested claims on climate and other environmental issues as settled, scientific fact. Judges who attend the seminars are also expected to make a year-long commitment to participate in CJP events, take online classes, and, perhaps most importantly, help identify and recruit

Knife crime in the United Kingdom‘s capital city has become so commonplace that the London Assembly is backing a plan to install bleed kits at every major bus station and along bus routes experiencing sustained levels of violent crime. Over the weekend, the assembly passed a non-binding resolution asking the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to coordinate with Transport for London (TfL) to distribute the stab wound kits across the bus system. Notably, the motion is non-binding, meaning the London Mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan, is not obligated to act on it. Additionally, TfL—citing National Health Service (NHS) guidance—says it does not plan to publicly advertise the availability of the bleed kits

The discovery came from Swalwell’s top Democratic opponent, billionaire Tom Steyer. Steyer says Swalwell appears to “live in California on paper only” as the governor race heats up, “making him unlikely to meet the basic residency requirements to run for Governor.” In a letter from Ryan Hughes, Steyer’s attorney, he called on the Secretary of State Shirley Weber to “enforce a dormant residency requirement in the governor’s race” and

Single filers and heads of households would also receive proportional tax relief through the Keep Your Pay Act. The first six days of war in Iran cost U.S. taxpayers at least $11.3 billion in munitions alone, according to Pentagon estimates reviewed by lawmakers, and experts say the final cost will only increase. That total does not include the cost of operating and maintaining the military force engaged in the war or battle damage sustained from Iran’s attacks. The military used about $5.6 billion in munitions in the first two days of the conflict, according to a person with knowledge of the estimate. The munitions cost was first reported by The Washington Post. The money spent on munitions, and the added expense of any damage done to U.S. military infrastructure

Now the Bank of England is considering scrapping that tradition. And what might replace one of Britain’s most consequential leaders says quite a lot about where parts of the country’s cultural establishment think Britain should be headed. Animals. Plants. Since the U.S.-Israeli-led operation against Tehran began, Graham has rushed to every microphone and television camera available to express his unbridled enthusiasm about the campaign. When he isn’t bragging about how much money the U.S. is going to make as a result of the conflict, he’s calling for more American intervention in countries like Cuba and Lebanon.
