Iran: Scalpel and Hammer

Wth brilliant intelligence and close U.S. and Israeli cooperation and coordination, Operation Epic fury is systematically dismantling the terrorist regime of Iran’s ayatollahs. And as if in a game of chess, the war has reshaped the Middle East, (a consistent source of hostilities), into a more peaceful and orderly part of the world. It has also demolished fears of Russian and Chinese intervention on behalf of the regime. (Russia’s too broke and China’s grasp is less than its reach.) Indeed China, which depended on Iran and Venezuelan oil, is unlikely to make good for a while if ever on its threats to occupy Taiwan. A quick reminder of Iran’s anti-U.S.

Sounds great, and I hope it is as suggested. But the picture in another article that shows the site where the Supreme Bleeder and his winged monkeys were meeting looks to be destroyed....to ground level. They could have been meeting 10 stories below. The site ought to look like a copper strip mine. We'll probably never know for sure.

Excellent summary of events by Clarice, who always gets the perspective right. In glaring contrast, Fox News had some of the worst coverage on Saturday that I have ever seen. Management saw it proper to drag in their highly paid personalities with not a hint of military experience among them. All they did was talk about what a future Iranian government would look like while the missiles were in the air and the attack was not even a day old. Jesse and company winged it. Joey Jones, who has been there and done that was nowhere to be found. Retired General Jack Keane and Jennifer Griffin provided intelligent analysis while Laura told us about "suicide drones." I don't know, maybe they had mice as pilots?

Great article. "Iran demonstrated intent to strike everywhere and capability to hit almost nothing" Islamic "Thugs are us" talk tough but are weak. Trump has been pulling their teeth directly and indirectly for the past year and they have still been posturing and negotiating in bad faith, like they actually held any cards except jokers. Trump has made clear his intentions; to destroy the Islamic military. It seems obvious that the theocracy cannot stop him. It can't even hinder him. Somewhere along the line, someone will have to deal with the remains of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards. I'm sure the Guard infrastructure and gathering areas will be destroyed but they could still be running around with weapons like Hamas did. The IRANIANS are going to have to organize and hunt them down and that will be hard and messy. It took Israel years to root Hamas out. We can support the Iranians with material and advice and possibly air support but CANNOT be dragged into a ground war. The Iranians need to own the process. All America has to do is make CERTAIN that the Islamic factions cannot rise again and to make sure the Iranian people KNOW this. Either they handle it or we will.

Re #2 - not that I am a fan of Rachel, Griff and Charles of the Fox Weekend show, but they instead had Ainsley and crew. What a bimbo. Newsmax coverage was actually pretty good. And what is with Fox News hosts asking Brett Baier for his analysis? He's reporter right? Not a military or intel expert.

We never hear of him in the MSM or on Fox but he is the money behind the protesters w ho were ready to go immediately on Saturday. She mentions that his wife is the head of Code Pink and that MTG was recently in contact with Code Pink. Take the time ro read this. It's that important.

Good analysis for so early in a complex operation like this. Israeli intel must be deeply embedded into the literal center of the Iranian regime's evil heart. How wonderful. I'm sure that in 40 years the 'mullets' have made some serious, serious enemies who were willing to work for Israel to help the destruction of these evil men. So far, so good. Let's hope for some Iranian patriots to pull together and sort out this mess after these dangerous turban heads are gone.

Re #1, deep penetrators don't leave much signature at the surface. They penetrate very deeply, explode and the local overpressure is transmitted very efficiently through the soil to destroy any voids (bunkers) in the immediate vicinity. If they were ten stories down, one of the new deep penetrators can get there, or if needed, two ....one digs so deep, the next follows the softened 'shaft' down and deepens the penetration. Even nuclear weapons set off below the ground only leave a relatively small slump hole....and that's due to them literally vaporizing large amounts of rock and soil, and the slump is the collapse into that void. Conventional explosives do no vaporization, just overpressure.

As my RedState colleague Brad Slager documented, many mainstream media outlets rushed to report on how Shajarah Tayyebeh, a girls' elementary school in southern Iran, had been hit on Saturday, with unverified claims from Iranian officials that it was "bombed in broad daylight, when packed with young pupils" after the start of Operation Epic Fury. Brad noted in his write-up that the suggestion/insinuation from these same Iranian regime officials that it was a deliberate "strike" on the school by the U.S. and Israel was not initially met with the appropriate amount of media skepticism from U.S.-based outlets that such claims warranted.

An Iranian-linked mosque in Manassas, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C., held a memorial service Sunday evening honoring Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling him "our leader" and sending "glad tidings on the martyrdom of His Eminence." pen the Denver Post and you might experience intellectual whiplash. In one article, readers are warned that Colorado ski resorts face an uncertain future due to climate change, with “less reliable powder days” threatening the industry. Resorts must invest in snowmaking, diversify revenue streams, and brace for a warming planet. Right beside it? A forecast of more than two feet of snow for Colorado’s mountain peaks. Two feet. Apparently, the climate crisis is now capable of producing both the imminent demise of snow and an old-fashioned Rocky Mountain blizzard. Sometimes on the same page. This is not satire. It’s modern climate journalism. Climate journalism is actually a thing. The Washington Post employed 24-30 such journalists

Welcome to "The New Monroe Doctrine," where I give you an update on what's going on in the Western Hemisphere, south of our border, especially as it relates to the United States. China's been embedding itself in Latin America and the Caribbean for years. Decades, even. We know this. We know that during four years of whatever you want to call the Joe Biden administration, it got even worse. While Congress was arguing over pronouns and gender ideology, and the president was alienating our allies in the region, like Nayib Bukele; bending over for our adversaries, like Nicolás Maduro; and, well, probably taking lots of naps, China was setting up

t's bad enough that Rep. Eric Swalwell, who's running for governor of California, doesn't live here, as court filings allege. Now it's coming to light that he doesn't seem to have much loyalty to the country it's actually in. He's taken, and continuing to take, big campaign cash from a lawyer with abnormally strong ties to the Communist Party of China. According to Fox News: Rep. Eric Swalwell's, D-Calif., gubernatorial campaign continues to be bankrolled by Keliang "Clay" Zhu despite concerns over his ties to China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Zhu donated another $25,000 to Swalwell's campaign earlier this month after he had already donated $5,000 to Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign in November

I was raised to believe that democracy came with duties as well as rights. You voted. You accepted the outcome. You argued your case, made your peace with defeat when it came, and waited for the next election. Politics was competitive, sometimes bruising, but it was not meant to be an existential threat. The opposition’s role was to hold the government to account, not to weaken the country for political gain. That older civic instinct now feels rather quaint. In theory, the idea of the “loyal opposition” remains central to democratic life. But in practice, it is disappearing before our eyes. We still have opposition parties, of course. What we increasingly

As badly as “green” mythology has damaged the United States, it has been even more devastating to a number of other countries, including Great Britain. Thus, we have this cri de cœur: “Britain’s industry ‘on cliff edge’ over cost of electricity.” It is becoming impossible to sustain basic industries–the ones most essential to any nation’s security–in the U.K. Britain is committing a “national act of self-harm” through its high energy prices and risks losing its few remaining electricity-hungry industries, the chief executive of the Society of Chemical Industry has warned. Sharon Todd said the country’s industry was “standing on the edge of a cliff”, facing electricity prices among the highest

It’s clearly one of his goals. “As time goes by, I believe the tariffs paid for by foreign countries will, like in the past, substantially replace the modern-day system of income tax,” Trump said during his State of the Union address.
