Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) isn’t just leading in the Texas Democrat U.S. Senate primary anymore. She’s pulling away, and she’s doing it as early voting is already underway. The latest statewide survey, conducted Feb. 2 through Feb. 16 among likely Democrat primary voters, shows the Dallas congresswoman expanding her edge over state Rep. James Talarico. Early voting began Feb. 17 and runs through Feb. 27 ahead of the March primary, which means this shift is happening while ballots are being cast. “Crockett leads Talarico 56 percent to 44 percent among likely Democratic primary voters statewide.”

This isn't shocking at all. Anyone who is the most ignorant person in the room, and usually has the biggest foul mouth, is a front runner for the Democrats in every election. Just look who they've already "elected". What everyone, and I mean every single, solitary person, has to worry about is whether the DemocRats have made progress in their cheating efforts in Texas. We could be stuck with this harridan, as a Senator no less. You'd better hope and pray this "woman" doesn't somehow manage to cheat her way into higher office.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A major attack launched by Israel and the United States killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Donald Trump announced Saturday, confirming an assassination that he said gave Iranians their “greatest chance” to “take back the country” but that also put the future of the Islamic Republic in doubt and raised the risk of regional instability. The strikes opened a stunning new chapter in U.S. intervention in Iran, marking the second time in eight months that the Trump administration had attacked the country during talks over its nuclear program. The reported killing of Khameini after decades

Someone's lying. And in this case, I'd bet it's not the lawyer. Yesterday, Reuters reported that hidden files within the FBI revealed communications surveillance on now-FBI Director Kash Patel and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles in 2022-23. The "toll records" surveillance supposedly came as part of the Department of Justice probes into Donald Trump's alleged mishandling of classified material at Mar-a-Lago and the January 6 riot. Neither Patel nor Wiles played a role in either, however, although both had begun working for Trump's nascent presidential campaign during that same period. This alone raises significant questions about the nature of Merrick Garland's DoJ and Jack Smith's actions

President Donald Trump suggested on Friday a possible “friendly takeover” of Cuba, adding that the country is in a “big deal of trouble” economically. “They have no money. They have no anything right now,” Trump told reporters outside the White House. “Maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba.” Trump’s remarks hinted at a softening of the U.S. approach to Cuba. Instead of harsh forecasts about regime change, top Trump aides have lately emphasized first having economic reforms in Cuba. This comes as Secretary of State Marco Rubio has engaged in conversations with Cuban representatives about the future of the island country.

The attacks — which the Department of War called “Operation Epic Fury” — follow a massive US military buildup in the Middle East and come after President Trump repeatedly warned Tehran that it would face consequences if it didn’t make a deal with the US. Iran then launched missiles towards Israel in a retaliatory attack as officials claimed the response would be “crushing.”

President Trump's decision to launch a war against Iran without congressional signoff has splintered lawmakers, largely along party lines, and supercharged the debate over war powers authority. While most Republicans largely rallied around Trump’s decision to carry out the massive joint attack with Israel, Democrats quickly denounced the attack as an illegal “war of choice” and demanded Congress come back to Washington to take a vote on whether to authorize another Middle East invasion. Democratic leaders have vowed to forge ahead with their plans to force a vote on a war powers resolution next week in the House that would block Trump from carrying out additional strikes.

The Israeli military later confirmed that 200 warplanes were involved in attacking Iran.
