European leaders expressed their unease with President Trump’s attack on Iran, making it clear they took no part in it, with some calling it “dangerous” for stability in the Middle East. In a joint statement, the heads of France, Germany and the United Kingdom called for both sides to return to the negotiation table. “We call for a resumption of negotiations and urge the Iranian leadership to seek a negotiated solution. Ultimately, the Iranian people must be allowed to determine their future,” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said.

Comments:

From behind his wife/mother's apron - - Emmanuel dropped his unfired rifle. Meanwhile Keir Starmer and Fred Merz are hugging each other - - and sheltering in place. Ain't it grand to have such courageous allies?

The EU and UK are irrelevant. They went communist, woke, and broke. They are not allies, having taken, but never supported us on anything. It is starkly apparent why our ancestors left them.

It’s a real dumpster fire. Wild video shows the back of a city Sanitation Department truck ablaze in the middle of a snow-packed Queens street Monday morning. The footage obtained by The Post captured bright-orange flames bursting from one the receptacles on the back of the DSNY truck, halfway down a residential Kew Gardens street — with heaps of dirty snow still piled up around parked cars. The fire – likely sparked by a lithium-ion battery improperly tossed in the trash, according to the DSNY – erupted around 9:40 a.m. on Kew Gardens Road near 82nd Avenue, the FDNY said.

The Bank of England was advised to create a plan for the inevitable financial chaos that will result if and when world governments disclose the existence of aliens, according to a report. Former senior financial security analyst Helen McCaw sent a letter to the UK’s central bank urging the institution to prepare for the economic impact of little green men, the Times of London reported. If such a disclosure comes from the White House, Cambridge-educated McCaw projected in her letter, the revelation send shockwaves through financial markets and the banking system — and inspire general unrest amongst Earthlings.

Demand for sex workers in Davos skyrocketed during this year’s World Economic Forum — including one client who allegedly shelled out a whopping $114,000 for four days with five women. The apparent work hard, party harder attitude of the global elite was apparent in the voracious appetite for escorts in the Swiss town, where global leaders, big tech CEOs and moneyed magnates sent requests for sex workers surging, according to the Swiss dating and erotic services platform Titt4Tat.

Anti-Israel activist and former Columbia grad student Mahmoud Khalil is set to be deported to Algeria — bringing an end to a drawn-out court battle over his immigration status, federal officials said. The Syrian-born activist, who was arrested by ICE early last year, is slated to be booted from the US after the Trump administration accused him of committing fraud on his green card application. “It looks like he’ll go to Algeria. That’s what the thought is right now,” Homeland Security assistant secretary, Tricia McLaughlin, told NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight” Wednesday.

WASHINGTON — The repressive Iranian regime is likely in its “final days and weeks,” German Chancellor Friedrich Merz dramatically predicted Tuesday — as shocking images emerged of thousands killed in a bloody crackdown by Tehran. “If a regime can only keep itself in power by force, then it’s effectively at the end. I believe we are now seeing the final days and weeks of this regime,” Merz told reporters during a trip to India. “In any case, it has no legitimacy through elections in the population. The population is now rising up against this regime.”

President Trump's decision to launch a war against Iran without congressional signoff has splintered lawmakers, largely along party lines, and supercharged the debate over war powers authority. While most Republicans largely rallied around Trump’s decision to carry out the massive joint attack with Israel, Democrats quickly denounced the attack as an illegal “war of choice” and demanded Congress come back to Washington to take a vote on whether to authorize another Middle East invasion. Democratic leaders have vowed to forge ahead with their plans to force a vote on a war powers resolution next week in the House that would block Trump from carrying out additional strikes.

Security Council on Saturday that everything must be done to prevent further escalation. “The alternative,” he warned, “is a potential wider conflict with grave consequences for civilians and regional stability.” Guterres said the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes violated international law, including the U.N. Predictably, Democrats in Washington and even some Republicans are questioning the strikes. But let’s be honest — this moment was long overdue. Iran’s reign of terror didn’t start yesterday. In fact, this confrontation is the direct result of the Obama administration’s disastrous decision a decade ago to appease, enrich, and embolden Tehran.
