Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, the clerical ruler who transformed Iran into one of the Middle East’s dominant powers, was killed by US-Israeli strikes on Saturday, a senior Israeli government source has told The Independent. The source confirmed that he had been killed by the joint US-Israeli airstrikes which flattened his compound. The US launched a “major combat operation” overnight, Donald Trump said on Saturday. The Israeli military later confirmed that 200 warplanes were involved in attacking Iran. The Iranian Supreme Leader's office accused the country's enemies of "mental warfare" following the Israeli claims.

I'm with #1. We've seen the before pictures. Now let's see the after pictures and the physical rearrangement of Hominy, who faced a gritty day and went to hell to be with Khomeini.

Sadly, even if we take Iran off the board of states sponsoring terrorism it won't help if we have imported our own source of Khomeini's.

I was reading that Israel knew where the meeting was, which room, what time and who would be there. Kaboom. Also that Iranians were told a time the attack would happen so they got all their artillery out. Oooops. Attack happened later and got their artillery. Kind of like the exploding Blackberries, not.

When people are kidnapped and want ransom the call is made to see "Proof of life" before things are transferred. I want to see proof of DEATH. We never got to actually see that with Obama bin Laden... only a covered body being thrown off the boat into the sea. EVIDENCE would be confirmation in his case that truly EVIL was defeated

If one of the most evil men in the world has truly been killed, that is a good thing for all of us because he was determined to get nuclear weapons and kill all Americans and Israelies. BUT, just wait for the Dems to start criticizing it because Trump was behind it. They will start complaining that he should have let Congress decide, which we all know would have defeated the purpose. Liberals would have made sure the Iranian leaders knew exactly when an attack would take place so that they would be able to get to a safe place ahead of time.

Today, all over the world, freedom loving people are celebrating, some ululating in joy. Fox News just showed some celebrants in LA. Other than members of the Iranian regime who got whacked, their souls in the infernal regions, who is NOT joyful today? Oh, I'd say the Democrats, especially Bathhouse Barry and ValJar. The Democrat left are the clearest Domestic Enemies I've ever seen in seven decades. When is the Ubama Residential Obelisk in Chicago going to be humanely deconstructed by Controlled Demolition Inc (Loiseaux family)? Reminds me of another obelisk on the album cover of Who's Next (1971). The band was zipping up after having peed on it. When I see that horrible construction, I can only imagine what it must smell like, being all about Stinky Himself. Bursting bladders seek its walls. It's a place, not of odor, but of oh, dear!

In early January, President Trump warned Iran’s Islamist government that if it killed peaceful civilians protesting the economy’s collapse, “the United States of America will come to their rescue.” In a post on Truth Social, he declared, “We are locked and loaded and ready to go.” Days later, when it became clear authorities and their henchmen were slaughtering thousands of unarmed protestors, Trump delivered another warning– — and a promise. After urging “Iranian Patriots” to keep protesting and “save the names of the killers and abusers, he said, “They will pay a big price” and added ominously: “Help is on its way.” That help arrived Saturday

The strikes President Donald Trump launched against Iran Saturday are not just military operations — they are the answer to decades of prayers by Iranians who have suffered under tyranny. And they represent the first time an American president has truly come to the rescue of the Iranian people. I was born and raised in Iran, where my family lived under the grip of an authoritarian theocracy. Growing up in the 1980s, my classrooms were filled with anti-Western indoctrination and “Death to America” chants. Yet to most of us, America was a symbol of justice and freedom from fear.

To see just what lunacy is in store for the nation if Democrats flip the House in November’s midterm elections, consider Tuesday night’s “State of the Swamp” rally, “counterprogramming” President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech. Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) gave Dems’ public-facing reply, but the party’s true heart was on display at the event sponsored by the Democratic National Committee-associated Defiance.org. They’re revving up the old #Resistance machine and studying their old playbook for ideas.

News that US-Israeli forces took out Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and dozens more senior figures in the first hours of Saturday’s strikes means regime change has come to Iran — the only question is how much, and how quickly a civilized government can take over. Iran’s rulers have been at war with “the great Satan” since they seized power amid the 1979 revolution, taking our diplomats hostage, masterminding the slaughter of our troops from Beirut to Baghdad, sending assassins to strike on our soil and more. For decades, they’ve worked to acquire nuclear weapons and missiles that can strike the United States — capabilities they think would secure their rule forever

The situation has become even more tense following a fatal confrontation at sea. In the early hours of Wednesday, a speedboat carrying 10 Cuban exiles drew near the coast of Cuba. It appears to have set out from Florida . It was intercepted by a patrol boat of the Cuban coastguard. As the United States and Iran depart their third round of nuclear talks amid growing fears of another possible war in the Middle East, one man is hoping the US will launch a targeted attack on Iran, regardless of whether or not they reach a deal. Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince of Iran, has spent almost 50 years living abroad, serving as a rallying — but at times polarising — figure for opponents of Iran's regime. In his view, if the US strikes the Iranian regime's nuclear facilities and apparatus, that could further weaken it and give Iran's people the chance to rise again.

Honest question: Why do Democrats spend so much time grandstanding against what the vast majority of Americans want? Because it doesn’t make sense to me. Case in point – Republicans in Congress want stricter voting requirements, such as voter ID and proof of citizenship. The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (also known as the SAVE America Act) has already passed the House and is now before the Senate. At his State of the Union address on Feb. 24, President Donald Trump specifically called on the Senate to take up the bill. "Congress should unite and enact this commonsense, country-saving legislation right now," Trump said.

The Democrats showed their true colors at Tuesday evening’s State of the Union when they failed the president’s test of allegiance to this country. They are so devoted to illegal migration that they walked straight into his trap. President Trump asked every lawmaker in the chamber to stand if they believe their primary duty is to protect American citizens rather than illegal migrants. That should have be a no-brainer. It is the essence of putting America first. But the Democrats refused to stand.

Ahead of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, he promised he’d discuss how we are a country “that’s now doing well with the greatest economy we’ve ever had.” That’s what he needed to do, and overall, he did. “Our nation is back,” Trump said at the start of his speech Feb. 24, marking the secure border, reduced crime, falling inflation and improving economy. “The state of our union is strong.” During his roughly two-hour address, the president stayed mostly upbeat and on message (for Trump). His theme was “America at 250: Strong, Prosperous and Respected,” with the country’s 250th birthday and the midterm elections just months away

Breaking a record he set previously, President Trump delivered the longest State of the Union address in history at a moment when Americans increasingly disapprove of his handling of the economy, have soured on his immigration crackdown, and have threatened to throw congressional Republicans out of power. Trump spoke for one hour and 47 minutes. He made the most of the moment, attempting to thread the needle between heralding accomplishments, while assuring a still jittery public – particularly when it comes to the economy – that better days are on the horizon.

By now, the video has gone viral with Trump asking a simple question: “If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal immigrants.” With great timing and a gift for performance and storytelling, Trump pauses and lets the applause grow. He luxuriated in the moment as the Democrats sat there, stone-faced, thinking it would play well at MS-Now. It probably will. Trump wanted all of America to see it and remember it. He set a trap. They walked right into it. “You should be ashamed,” he said.

President Trump's decision to launch a war against Iran without congressional signoff has splintered lawmakers, largely along party lines, and supercharged the debate over war powers authority. While most Republicans largely rallied around Trump’s decision to carry out the massive joint attack with Israel, Democrats quickly denounced the attack as an illegal “war of choice” and demanded Congress come back to Washington to take a vote on whether to authorize another Middle East invasion. Democratic leaders have vowed to forge ahead with their plans to force a vote on a war powers resolution next week in the House that would block Trump from carrying out additional strikes.

In fact, this confrontation is the direct result of the Obama administration’s disastrous decision a decade ago to appease, enrich, and embolden Tehran.
