The revolutionary Iranian regime -- which may possibly find itself in a war with the United States in coming days -- has positioned itself as an adversary of the United States since it came into power decades ago in 1979. Much of the discussion (snip) has focused on the Iranian regime's nuclear program (snip) but not as much attention has been placed on a host of Iranian-directed terrorist attacks against U.S. troops, diplomats, and citizens which have killed hundreds of Americans. Iran has also sought to carry out a number of attempted plots on U.S. soil (snip)

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis coordinated extensively with the Biden Justice Department and White House as well as Democrats on the House Jan. 6 investigative committee as she built a failed criminal case against President Donald Trump and his allies related to their challenge to Georgia's 2020 election results, according to a trove of internal communications obtained by Just the News. (snip) The new memos show that the Biden White House counsel's office gave Willis' prosecution team a major gift, waiving Trump's ability to claim executive privilege and block former administration officials from testifying.

The City of Champlin voted 3-2 Monday night to continue flying the old Minnesota state flag at city-owned property. The vote came after a discussion which sharply criticized the process that was used to select the new state flag. (snip) Since its unveiling, the new flag has been routinely derided with many saying the old flag is superior. Many homes and local governments in Greater Minnesota do not fly the new state flag, and many Minnesotans have noted the new flag's resemblance to the Somali flag.

This is your weekly reminder that just because the Europeans do wounded vanity, umbrage, and virtue-signaling lectures so much better than we do does not necessarily mean that what is issuing from their sanctimonious streusel-holes matches what they are doing in actuality. (snip) But in the trenches, streets and homes of regular citizens, mayhap things look a little different from the rosy, beatific picture of pastoral freedoms and hives of honey-laden democracy painted by the Brussels brahmins from their castles.

For historians of human enslavement -- and for black Africans more generally -- the recently concluded African Nations soccer cup revealed images of an ugliness that has roots in the Muslim world's trans-Saharan slave trade. As Senegal defeated host Morocco in the final, sections of the Moroccan crowd hurled racial insults at the Senegalese -- just as Algerian spectators had, earlier in the tournament, when their team was beaten by Nigeria. "Get the black slave," affronted Algerian soccer fans chanted.

President Donald Trump and his allies are launching a double-barreled U.S. census strategy that could eliminate a big electoral and federal funding mechanism for blue states: illegal immigrants. Missouri Attorney
General Katherine Hanaway said her office is asking the courts to bar the federal government from counting immigrants living in the country illegally when determining congressional representation and federal funding, a move she argued should shift political power among the states for decades.

San Francisco's controversial reparations initiative, formalized and signed by Mayor Dan Lurie on December 23, 2025, creates a dedicated Reparations Fund (essentially, a new City Hall-administered bank account) to dole out restitution to the city's Black residents which were victims of slavery, redlining, urban renewal, War on Drugs, and other qualifiers. (snip) the program's design creates a stark dilemma: it compels non-eligible residents, including a significant number of the city's black African Americans, to actually subsidize reparations benefits they themselves cannot access (snip)

The corporate media recently obtained a leaked Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memorandum changing the agency's policy on forcibly entering the home of an alien who has been ordered to be deported by an immigration judge. (snip) According to the talking heads, civil rights in the United States will now evaporate. (snip) However, such claims are utter nonsense. (snip) when ICE follows all of the procedures set forth (snip) in the Immigration and Nationality Act, aliens are being given all the due process they are owed. And regarding the arrest of immigration violators Congress has explicitly stated (snip) that an administrative -- not a judicial -- warrant suffices (snip)
Comments:
In 2023 the Democratic Farmer-Labor Party super-majority in the Minnesota state legislature appointed a commission to design a new state flag and decreed that the commission's design would automatically become the new state flag without further legislative or popular input. There have been efforts to reinstate the old flag via a voter initiative on the November ballot.
