If it's wrong to spend a week celebrating the misery of your opponents, like that of the scores of just-fired Washington Post hacks who are crying like teenage girls learning there are no more "Twilight" movies coming, then I'm incredibly, totally, enthusiastically wrong. The former journos/current drive-thru operators still have not shut up about the WaPo's mass layoffs, and I am taking unmitigated delight in their pain. Their suffering energizes me. Their tears nourish me. Their humiliation fuels my joy. Hey, maybe democracy dies in darkness, but as long as the WaPo dies, I'm good. I would tell them to learn the code, but that's old and cliché.

Because of DOGE, the number of federal employees has dropped to the same number as when President Johnson was in the White House back in 1966. Presumably, those laid off have gone home to look for jobs in the private sector. That means they're no longer getting the Washington Post home delivery. So, Jeff Bezos has had to fire even more reporters. Win-win.

" One of our great advantages is that our enemies just don't understand us" Also that they are amazingly stupid and incompetent. The only job requirement for Leftists is loyalty to the cause, and that seems to be true for most Leftist organizations, especially in government. One of the reasons that Trump won was that the Bidet organization was incompetent from the top on down and it was obvious to the voters. Further, that blind loyalty precludes adaptation to reality to the point that most of them cannot even perceive reality, let alone respond to its challenges. "I've never been a fan of the idea of conservatism without the concept of retribution." But the funny thing is, Conservatives are not serving up retribution. For the most part, we are just watching Leftists place a noose around their necks and jumping off the tipsy chair they were standing on. Even Trump is not acting with intent to hurt the Left, only to hold them accountable and to get things working the right way. The outcomes were predictable. Our amusement at their fate is not retribution, just pleasure that the scales of justice are FINALLY being balanced. And yeah, with a bit of schadenfreude. Maybe quite a bit more than a bit. If people can't appreciate and celebrate long delayed justice then justice will not be strongly sought. Seeing the Left pay the price for their actions is the satisfaction of our job well done. What is amazing is their unyielding refusal to learn from their numerous and obvious failures. They double down like someone with a gambling addiction, even now as they are going broke and falling into massive "debt". Maybe both behaviors are manifestations of a similar psychological disorder? When you look at the descriptions of a Gambling addiction, a lot of it lines up with Leftism. We often tease that liberalism is a psychological disorder. Maybe, clinically, it is.

Great column! Hilarious and true. This sentence got me thinking, FTA: 'One of our great advantages is that our enemies just don't understand us, which is why Trump is able to run circles around them and slip out of their snares time and time again.' Our President really is the Roadrunner to their Wile E Coyote. Except they're evil, and Wile E is just hungry.

Bezos has done a necessary job, so I am reluctant to point out the obvious. He is still paying five Climate Change experts for writing absolutely nothing of value. Ridicule these fools, especially since they're spending an inordinate amount of time whining about how they were wronged. Kurt has the perfect opening. Too Many Democrats Want Us Dead 10 replies

After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the multiple assassination attempts on President Trump, and the violent targeting of federal agents in Minnesota, non-leftists in America must accept that leftists intend to do them harm. There are no signs that Democrats want to de-escalate political tensions in the United States. On the contrary, at least since community organizer Barack Obama became president, escalation -- including verbal harassment, stalking, physical intimidation, and outright violence -- has been a key component of Democrats’ political strategy. Scaring political opponents into silence or subjugation is now standard operating procedure for the Democrat Party.

Smith, who became infamous for targeting Donald Trump and the entirety of the GOP political apparatus in shady surveillance and rigged trials, testified at a House of Representatives hearing today. A recent revelation that Smith paid out $20,000 to a confidential human source (CHS) shocked Americans and caused Trump to call for Smith to serve prison time, but it appears that might have been just a drop in the bucket.

One of my favorite Western reruns is "The Rifleman," starring the steely-jawed Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain. In one episode, John Hamilton, president of North Fork's first bank, tried to talk a buzz of skeptical townsfolk into putting their lifesavings into the "absolute safety" of his bank. The crowd didn't budge until Hamilton introduced his new security guard, former gunslinger Floyd Doniger, who awed the crowd by shooting plates in mid-air as fast as Hamilton's men tossed them up. It worked. The townsfolk streamed into the bank with their lifesavings. Doniger, now perched on a loft with a ready rifle, scanned the bank like a human security camera.
