Unearthed Data Makes Pennsylvania's Puberty

Pennsylvania saw a meteoric rise in the number of adolescents receiving puberty blockers through an insurance billing code currently being investigated under the Trump administration on fraud suspicions. More than 220 claims for puberty blocking drugs were reimbursed for minors aged 10-13 (snip) for precocious puberty between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2024, costing taxpayers more than $1.8 million dollars (snip.) The number of claims in the 10-13 age group went from zero in 2012 and ballooned to 47 by 2016. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has raised concerns that this billing code may be fraudulently used by gender doctors for sex-rejecting interventions.

Comments:

Most legitimate prescriptions for puberty blockers for premature puberty are for children 8 years of age or younger, not ages 10-13 when puberty normally occurs.

Gender Doctors What filth. A person studies for years to become a doctor so that they can sterilize children? They shpuld all have their license suspended, maybe they would make good veterinarians.

If the government is passing out money with no oversight to confirm how it is being used, the scammers will instantly figure out a way to collect. And many leftist politicians will somehow get their share as well.

A simple, but deeply unfair and manipulative narrative (snip) congealed as soon as Trump took office: ICE enforcement amounts to egregious military raids (snip) and as such, ICE is responsible for any unfortunate violence (snip.) Obviously that narrative has gone into overdrive since the unfortunate killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis (snip) Notably we're not seeing many ugly situations like what happened in Minneapolis in red states because the police and authorities there have been directed to cooperate. So Democrats have a simple choice before them: They can choose to (snip) cooperate with ICE, or they can choose to make their communities more dangerous.

Predictably, a fresh wave of outrage against President Donald Trump and his administration's immigration policies followed the shooting in Minnesota of anti-ice activist Renee Good. Viral videos of alleged outrages committed by ICE agents are bolstering the case against the ongoing raids and deportations. While the majority of those speaking out against them are on the left, some on the right are also falling prey to the pressure campaign. These queasy conservatives now claim that their objections to the ICE raids are grounded in a suspicion that they may be detrimental to the goal of mass deportations.

The Jan. 7 shooting death of Renee Good has become a political Rorschach test. A Quinnipiac poll released on Tuesday finds that a majority of American voters, 53%, believe ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot Good on a Minneapolis street last Wednesday, was not justified in doing so. Thirty-five percent believe the shooting was justified, while 12% have no opinion. But the poll results vary widely when the respondents’ political affiliations are examined. Seventy-seven percent of Republicans believe the shooting was justified, while 28% of independents and only four percent of Democrats hold the same opinion. These poll results are unsurprising.
