While the world salivates over the just-released images of Bill Clinton “frolicking” with various females at Jeffrey Epstein’s Bide-a-Wile island hideaway, the steady drumbeat of anti-Trump propaganda is picking up speed, intensity, and insanity. Last month, in an effort to “Bidenize” (thank you, Byron York), The New York Anti-Trump Times published a surreal, reality-free article under the headline “Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office.” This is about the human whirlwind that is Donald Trump, the indefatigable powerhouse who thinks nothing of traveling across the globe in the morning in order to broker peace in some far-off hellhole -

I think PDJT 2.0 is best described as an iron fist in a leather glove. The people at the Smithsonian will either toe the line or PDJT 2,0 will find people who will.

The people on the Smithsonian board are majority dems. While the Congressional reps may change based on their terms in office and can be changed when reelected, many are dems. The non Congressional members are appointed to 6 year terms and are can have 2 terms. The board recommends the non Congressional members and while they need to be approved by Congress, you can be sure no strong Republicans will be suggested by the board. Trump may have some control over funds allocated to the Smithsonian but that is uncertain. Trump has no control of appointments to the Smithsonian board and cannot replace people on a whim. The strongest weapon that Trump has is public opinion. He could poison pill the Smithsonian's 250th displays and public sentiment could turn against them. It they try to make the 250th birthday a liberal whine fest, they would pay a significant price with the public.

A Georgia State Election Board investigation substantiated that Fulton County violated election rules in 2020 by failing to have poll workers sign required tabulation tapes for early votes in 36 out of 37 advanced voting precincts, affecting approximately 315,000 ballots. These unsigned tapes broke the chain-of-custody and certification requirements under Georgia law, which mandates signed tapes as the sole legal proof of authentic vote totals. During a board meeting on December 9th, Ann Brumbaugh, attorney for the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, contends that Fulton County does “not dispute that the tapes were not signed.” Oof.

To tax tips or not? That is a question that will confront lawmakers in states across the U.S. as they convene for work next year. President Donald Trump’s administration is urging states to follow its lead by enacting a slew of new tax breaks for individuals and businesses, including deductions for tips and overtime wages, automobile loans and business equipment. In some states, the new federal tax breaks will automatically apply to state income taxes unless legislatures opt out. But in many other states, where tax laws are written differently, the new tax breaks won’t appear on state tax forms unless legislatures opt in.

After the European Commission levied a several-hundred-million-dollar fine on Elon Musk and his social media platform X earlier this month, journalist Michael Shellenberger wrote a damning post in which he excoriated Europe’s rank censorship and state-sponsored propaganda. He accused the commission of engaging “in a deception campaign aimed at confusing” Europeans and Americans into thinking that European elites’ “goal” is anything other than “to censor the American people.” Shellenberger pointed out that Musk’s fine came while European governments are demanding backdoor access to all private text messages (under the pretense of combatting the transmission of child pornography) and creating a so-called “Democracy Shield”

Back during the Biden administration, the FBI appeared to be solely focused on rounding up conservatives. At the same time, all kinds of other crimes in their mandate -- spies, terrorism, blue-city corruption -- showed little evidence of activity or results. Obviously, that allowed the crazies on the left to grow in number and get bolder in their plans, but the results seen now suggest some impressive corrective work. It looks like the FBI -- and the many law enforcement agencies that helped them -- is back.

Zohran Mamdani, the mayor-elect of New York City, is (despite his denials) quite clearly a Marxist, dreaming of the day when he can seize the means of production. He is also a Twelver Shi’ite Muslim — you know, the good folks who rule the Islamic Republic of Iran and scream “Death to America” on a routine basis. And so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Mamdani’s plans for New York are not exactly going to transform the Big Apple into a hub for business and opportunity.

I strongly suspect the sentiments I am about to express mean this is not going to be a very popular article, and I equally strongly suspect the Daily Sceptic is one of the very few publications in this country which would actually print it. But, when it comes to Australia’s horrific Bondi Beach shooting, in which at least 15 Jews celebrating Hannukah were shot dead by a father-and-son team of presumable Islamists, it may in some ways have been better if the brave and noble actions of the man who ran up to one of the two terrorists and wrestled his gun away had not happened.

The recent Democratic cry of “affordability” is ironic in many ways. The left-wing narrative of Trump hyperinflation was one of desperation and came only after previous memes had failed to resonate. The 2025 generic “dictator,” “fascist,” and “Nazi” smear points never helped the left much.Nor did the nihilist government shutdown over the “Obamacare crisis” work other than perhaps to depress fourth-quarter GDP. Nor did the earlier spring 2025 melodramatic predictions of an impending “Trade War,” “Recession,” and stock-market “Meltdown resonate.” Nor did the “Gestapo,” “SS,” and “Nazi” ICE smears become effective talking points. The “illegal orders” and “unconstitutional use of force” in destroying narcotraffickers’ shipments in transit of lethal drugs were mostly empty rhetoric.

On November 30, while in Iran, Fidan labeled Israel as “the biggest threat to stability in the Middle East” just as he bragged about seeking to significantly expand Turkish cooperation on issues such as energy, trade, border protection, and Middle East security needs with Iran. In August Fidan said “Israel’s reckless attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria,

Half of $18 billion in federal welfare funds, which supports 14 Minnesota-run programs since 2018, has been lost to fraud, Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said during a press conference Thursday. People come from all over the world to steal millions from U.S. government Medicaid, housing, and other programs, he added. “Minnesota has become a magnet for fraud, so much so that we have developed a fraud tourism industry — people coming to our state purely to exploit and defraud its programs,” Thompson said. “This is a deeply unsettling reality that all Minnesotans should understand.”

And now, readers, we return to the story that won’t go away, the Jeffrey Epstein saga. The deceased pedophile continues to dominate headlines over six years after his death, mostly because there are rumors that high-profile individuals were involved with his exploits, and if their enemies can prove it, they can be ruined. There are also countless victims who have never received justice. Already this Friday afternoon/evening, news broke that today was the deadline Congress had established for the DOJ to release the files, and the department was doing just that. As our Ward Clark reported, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the investigation had

It’s an imperfect solution, but Republicans likely need to do a temporary extension of Obamacare subsidies while they get fixes up and running. This week, the House passed a bill full of vital health-insurance reforms (the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act), but several GOP moderates also end-ran Speaker Mike Johnson to keep alive hope of some bipartisan deal that would extend the COVID-era subsidies that make the existing system affordable for middle-class Americans who have no better choice as the law now stands.

More than a dozen files tied to notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously vanished from the Justice Department’s website just one day after the agency released the massive, long-awaited trove of documents and photos to the public, according to reports. At least 16 files — among thousands available Friday — were taken down with no explanation from the government, leading to criticism from Democrats on Capitol Hill. The missing docs included images of nude female paintings — and according to the Dems, a picture of a desk that had numerous framed photos on it and some photos piled in an open drawer.

While the images are explosive, the DOJ has said that being photographed with Epstein doesn’t equate to criminal guilt, and many of the appearances in past photos released — including those by President Trump — are social or casual in nature. Much of the mainstream news this week has been, in my opinion, partisan or devoted to less-than-significant matters. Does it really matter if the Trump-appointed board that saved the Kennedy Center from going to wrack and ruin has added his name to the building? Were you really surprised that Bill Clinton, not Trump, was pictured in the released Epstein files cavorting with women whose faces were blacked out because they were either minors or victims? (Snip) I think the important and underreported stories of the week, are different -- the growing fractures in the European Union and the Administration’s lowering the boom on richly rewarded migration sponsors.

Brown University has been brushing off security issues for years — ignoring warnings from students, staff and even police, The Post has learned. The revelation comes after two students were killed and nine others hurt in a mass shooting at the Ivy League school that has seen critics slam the institution for prioritizing image over safety. The engineering building where the shooting took place didn’t have a swipe-card mechanism and could be accessed by anyone through the public-facing coffee shop, students said. It didn’t have security officer posted at the front either, like some other buildings do, school officials have said.
