The Reiner Murders: a common humanity view

The murder of Hollywood Director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner by Reiner’s 32-year-old adult son Nick has become another front in the ongoing political war. Nick is a long-time drug addict, in and out of rehab many times, and often homeless on the streets of multiple states. He reportedly trashed his parent’s home at least once in the past, and some reports suggest he was diagnosed with schizophrenia not long before the alleged murders, apparently committed with a knife or other sharp object. Rob Reiner was perhaps best known for his writing and directing, particularly the classic rock “mockumentary” This is Spinal Tap. He’ll certainly

Once again leftist hypocrisy is on full display. Any negative comments about Reiner are treated by the left as blasphemy and insensitive while the nasty things said by Reiner about Trump and his family, and in the aftermath of the Trump assassination attempt are completely forgotten. As poster #1 said, Reiner's hatred didn't end when he reached his front door.

Certainly not a 'he deserved it' post but before the internet when USA Today was trolling the public every day they went on one of their pseudo-moralistic crusades again spanking and child discipline in general. Their spokesman? Rob Reiner.

The kid was in rehab the first time at 15. How long did his parents ignore, or probably condone, his drug use? You don't become an addict overnight. He was constantly in and out of rehab because he didn't want to be there. His parents allowed their violent, drug-addled son to decide if he wanted treatment. They listened to said violent, drug-addled son over the doctors who warned them that drug addicts are manipulative. They took him to a party to "keep an eye on him" rather than skipping the party. In short - they wanted kids, but they didn't want to be parents.

RR was sooooo focused upon Putting Trump in Jail, he ignored the single un attempted thing that might have saved his criminal son, his wife and himself...Putting HIM in Jail. 17 trips to rehab, dozens of therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists...Lawyers...Insulating him from the repercussions of his actions and addictions with their wealth and power. Insulating him from REALITY. Longest stretch of sobriety less than six months, while also doped up on prescribed junk. I have been clean/sober over 36 years...a "young man" I knew for 10 of those, that was as bad as Nick, his Parents finally stopped intervening between him and the Law, he did 12 months in prison, has been clean/sober now for 20years...and is married to a bank executive, is a successful real estate investor/rehabber. He says..."When they finally arrested me? They Rescued me". It takes Clean Time to get clean, clean enough to live in Reality...any way to get it is the only thing that works.

I read an article by Rob's daughter Romy. She said that almost from the start, Nick felt his dad didn't love him. From what she described, I think Nick was just different from the other two and Rob, half nuts himself, didn't know how to deal with him. I know he loved him but as a parent, you never know what each child will be like and I promise you, they will all be different. This is just a sad story all around. Rob himself was a little on the nuts side but no parent deserves to be killed like this by their child.

Reiner was politically connected and influential in the entertainment industry. He never focused social media on Trump's attempt to stop fentanyl and other dangerous drugs from flooding the country. Instead, he chose to use his stardom, wealth and influential power as a weapon to promote hate and slander in vicious ways against Trump to destroy him and his presidency. Reiner and is wife were out of control leftist, and his son was raised in hate toward anyone who did not agree with him. Trump's feelings toward Reiner are understandable.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday directing federal agencies to reclassify marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act. This shift acknowledges the drug's potential medical uses while placing it alongside substances like ketamine and codeine-laced Tylenol, which carry moderate risks of dependence. The move builds on a process initiated under the Biden administration but stalled by inaction for years. Trump emphasized that the order facilitates essential research into marijuana's benefits and dangers without legalizing recreational use nationwide. "This reclassification order will make it far easier to conduct marijuana-related medical research,"

And now, readers, we return to the story that won’t go away, the Jeffrey Epstein saga. The deceased pedophile continues to dominate headlines over six years after his death, mostly because there are rumors that high-profile individuals were involved with his exploits, and if their enemies can prove it, they can be ruined. There are also countless victims who have never received justice. Already this Friday afternoon/evening, news broke that today was the deadline Congress had established for the DOJ to release the files, and the department was doing just that. As our Ward Clark reported, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the investigation had

The Lancet, headquartered in Britain, was once a respected medical journal. Now, it is mostly a left-wing rag. The current issue, just out, leads with an editorial titled “2025: an annus horribilis for health in the USA.” Really? Our health has gone downhill? Has life expectancy declined? Was there an epidemic that I missed? No. The entire editorial is an anti-Trump screed. 2025 was a horrible year, not for Americans’ health, but for left-wing preferences in health care policy. Thus: Federal funding cuts had occurred under Joe Biden and mistrust in the nation’s health leaders has been waning over time, but the goal of the Trump administration

Minnesota has "developed a fraud tourism industry" that entices scammers to travel to the North Star State to exploit "easy money" taxpayer-funded programs, Joe Thompson, the federal prosecutor behind the Somali fraud convictions, said Thursday. He unveiled charges against six new defendants, including two who were based in Philadelphia. Federal prosecutors accused Anthony Waddell Jefferson and Lester Brown of traveling to Minneapolis to enroll sham companies in Minnesota’s federally funded Housing Stabilization Services program after hearing it was "a good opportunity to make money." The pair then returned to Philadelphia where they allegedly submitted up to $3.5 million in "fake and inflated"

The most important thing to learn from the December 2025 Bondi Beach attack is how to better anticipate and mitigate the next attack. There is probably going to be another attack, somewhere, sometime. The auguries are plain. As Australian authorities try to retrace the steps and understand the motivations of the Bondi Beach gunmen who killed 15 people on Sunday, one key focus has emerged: their travel to the Philippines last month, shortly before the attack. What’s in the Philippines? The Islamic State of East Asia. The Australian government says, “ISEA is one of Islamic State’s wilayat-bayat (“peripheric provinces”) … ISEA is affiliated with Islamic State. In September 2017, the

The unspeakable tragedy that has been visited upon the family of Rob Reiner has likely left all parents in shock. Given what has been available to read about Nick Reiner these past several days, since the murder of his parents, it has shed a little light on what that family has endured since their son Nick was eight years old, maybe even before that. He was apparently a difficult child long before he became a drug user. His parents tried to help him way back then after he disrupted their yoga sessions. There’s nothing ‘right-wing’ about defending the Bill of Rights. Being called “right-wing” or “fascist” is detestable. The label implies a preference for dictatorship, authoritarianism, and government supremacy over personal freedom. The exact opposite is true. I would describe myself as a supporter of autarchism in the sense that we should rule ourselves and not be ruled by others. As someone who believes strongly in individual liberty, self-reliance, and self-government, I distrust all repositories of power -- whether such power resides in government, corporations, or social institutions. As Lord Acton advised: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” In my estimation, nothing in this physical world can be trusted with power

Half of $18 billion in federal welfare funds, which supports 14 Minnesota-run programs since 2018, has been lost to fraud, Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said during a press conference Thursday.
