ICE Baltimore arrested Kevin Alexis Mendez-Ortiz on Nov. 25, during a targeted immigration enforcement operation in Oxon Hill. Mendez is a criminal, illegal alien from Honduras, who recently caused a head-on collision in Prince George’s County that sent a U.S. citizen to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Mendez entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 under the Biden Administration’s catch-and-release policy. “This tragic incident underscores why ICE remains steadfast in its mission to identify, apprehend and remove illegal aliens who pose a threat to public safety,” said ICE Baltimore acting Field Office Director Jeremy Bacon. “A U.S. citizen suffered devastating injuries

A Tennessee truck driver is dead after a Chinese national, who is not proficient in English and has a non-domiciled New York commercial driver’s license (CDL), allegedly crashed a tour bus — now federal transportation officials are investigating how he was cleared to drive. “A Chinese national driving a motorcoach slammed into a vehicle in Tennessee, killing an individual and causing a major traffic jam this week,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote in a post on social media. “And to make matters worse: this driver had a non-domiciled CDL from NY and couldn’t speak English!” [Tweets]

Federal immigration officers have arrested more than 400 illegal aliens — including convicted pedophiles, rapists, and violent offenders — during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota, a crackdown officials say was necessary after state and local sanctuary policies allowed dangerous criminals to roam free. Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin blasted Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for “failing to protect the people of Minnesota.” “ICE law enforcement officers have arrested more than 400 illegal aliens including pedophiles, rapists, and violent thugs since Operation Metro Surge began,” said McLaughlin. “Tim Walz and Jacob Frey failed to protect the people of Minnesota.

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said the Brown University shooting was a result of President Donald Trump’s “dizzying campaign to increase violence in this country.” Murphy said, “If you look at states like Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California that have stronger laws, we have gun violence rates, murder rates, mass shooting rates that are two to 3 to 4 times lower than states that have loose gun laws. And many of the weapons that are used in our states for gun crimes come to our states from those states that have an ability for criminals and people with serious mental illness to buy weapons.

When police in Texas pulled over a semi truck tractor on IH-35 last week, they discovered the vehicle’s human cargo in yet another example of the relentless efforts to traffic illegal aliens into America despite the Trump administration’s tough immigration policies. Last Friday, a trooper for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) conducted a traffic stop in La Salle County as part of Operation Lone Star and during a subsequent search of the vehicle, discovered 23 illegals stuffed into the sleeping area of the Freightliner truck tractor’s cab. After finding the illegals who were from a number of Latin American countries, the police arrested John Amaya, a 24-year-old man from Laredo

The law does not allow or intend for the president of the United States to kill anyone he wants to kill." There has been another unprovoked stabbing on the Charlotte, North Carolina, commuter light rail system. We saw the tragic death of Iryna Zarutska last August in just such an event, but this latest incident is different in two ways: The victim is still alive, although in critical but stable condition, at least as of this writing, and the alleged attacker is an illegal alien, who has been deported at least once and entered the United States illegally again. When will we have had enough of this? Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy weighed in on his official X account:

Among the multitude of cases filed against President Trump and/or his administration since he returned to the Oval Office are a handful of matters challenging his authority to remove independent agency leaders from their various positions. We've seen multiple of these cases wend their way up the chain, with several landing before the Supreme Court, including both Harris and Wilcox, although Friday's ruling comes not from the high court, but from the D.C. The Left has come to the defense of the Minnesota Somali community because, despite the crime and massive fraud of taxpayer dollars, Democrats insist Somalis are part of the "fabric" of the state. It's another example in a long line of Leftists going to bat for some of the worst actors out there, instead of their victims. Not only have Somalis been busted for raping multiple women and girls, but the Medicare fraud also led to the death of at least one innocent Minnesota man. But that doesn't matter to Democrats. They want Somalis here and don't care about the consequences.

The Trump administration is drastically reducing the length of time for foreigners’ work permits within the USA. Now it’s time to end the H-1B visa program. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) posted a Wall Street Journal article on Friday, announcing the change to work permit duration. This is the latest in a string of immigration reforms enacted by the Trump administration following the shooting of two National Guardsmen in D.C. just before Thanksgiving by an Afghan illegal. USCIS Director Joe Edlow said that the purpose of the reduction is to ensure the federal government can re-vet and reassess foreign workers more often.

In the aftermath of the massive Feeding Our Future scandal and broader allegations of systemic fraud in Minnesota’s social programs, a troubling theme has emerged: accusations of racism repeatedly used to deflect scrutiny, intimidate investigators and stall accountability. Rumors and reports of fraud in Minneapolis, primarily within the city’s exploding Somali community, have been circulating for at least a decade, but criticism of the fraud has been largely dismissed by elected Democrats as "racist" or being underpinned by animosity toward foreigners. News stories focused on Somali fraudsters in recent years were shot down as "racist."

Among the first things I taught my new students at the beginning of every new school year was the difference between deference and respect. One defers to others because of their position of authority, regardless of whether they are honest, honorable, decent and capable. Respect, however, must be earned every day. We defer to others because of their positions and to a lesser degree, their accomplishments. We respect others because of who they are, because they’ve proved themselves worthy of our respect regardless of their positions of authority. In the military, you defer to rank, but you respect those who don’t trade on it, or who fling their accomplishments
