The White House placed the decision to launch a second, follow-up Sept. 2 strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea at the feet of the commander overseeing the operation from Fort Bragg, N.C., Navy Adm. Frank M. “Mitch” Bradley.
Bradley — who was authorized by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to carry out the attack that killed two people who were hanging onto the burning vessel after an initial strike — at the time was head of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).In charge of the U.S. military’s most sensitive and dangerous missions, JSOC falls under U.S. Special Operations Command, which Bradley was promoted to lead in October.

It is almost painfully obvious what a scam and a setup this whole "Pete Hegseth is killing innocent drug dealers!" thing is. Mysterious anonymous sources just happened to say exactly what the Democrats needed said following their illegal orders nonsense of last week, and exactly when they needed to change the subject from the murder of a soldier that was arguably contributed to by their illegal orders nonsense of last week.

The U.S. Supreme Court appeared favorable to the Trump administration’s position in a high-profile asylum-related case before the bench on Monday.
During the roughly hour-long hearing, the justices heard arguments in Urias-Orellana v. Bondi. The case centers around Salvadoran national Humberto Urias-Orellana, who fled his home country and illegally entered the United States with his family in 2021 after reportedly enduring targeted violence in El Salvador. As summarized by Oyez, upon entering America, the illegal alien and his family were charged by the Department of Homeland Security “with removability for illegal entry,” which prompted them to apply for asylum “based on persecution of their family group.” Urias-Orellana also sought “protection” under the

Two weeks ago, the seditious six congressional members began framing an op against the Trump administration under the auspices of military “defying illegal orders.” In the past few days, the same “illegal order” narrative has been used against Secretary Pete Hegseth; these two structured and timed sequence events are not disconnected.
The leftists and deep state IC are running a color revolution operation inside the USA. The first step in all color revolutions is to undermine the legitimacy and authority of the elected national leader; this is exactly what the seditious six are doing.

All of us following closely the peace processes in Ukraine, in the middle East and beyond, have had our eyes on Steve Witkoff for quite a while.
The real-estate mogul has been central to the Israel-Hamas agreement, and has also spearheaded the multiple attempts from the Donald J. Trump team to bring peace to Europe, and stop the bloodiest war since WW2.
A measure of how efficient Witkoff is can be gauged by the relentless attacks he suffers from the Globalist MSM: he is called inexperienced, inefficient and smeared as ‘pro-Putin’, a mere puppet in the hands of the ‘enemy of the west’.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted a New York Times reporter over a story she co-authored last week, painting President Trump as a man in decline.
The article described Trump, 79, appearing to nod off in the Oval Office and claimed that the 47th president has fewer public events on his busy schedule than he did in his first term.
“I will point out one fake news story over the weekend before I let you all go from the New York Times that took about 1/3 of the president’s daily calendar and his daily schedule and said that he’s doing less than he did in his first term,

Election authorities in Honduras said Monday morning that the conservative former mayor endorsed by President Trump and a sportscaster rival were virtually tied in a presidential election that many predicted would be volatile even before Mr. Trump weighed in on the race.
The preliminary and partial results showed that Mr. Trump’s pick, Nasry Asfura, and the sportscaster, Salvador Nasralla, were in the lead, with ballots from nearly 56 percent of polling places counted. The candidate for the left-wing party in power, Rixi Moncada, was trailing far behind, the early results showed, with around half the votes cast for each of the right-wing candidates.

Why did the war in Ukraine start in 2021?
As in 2008 and 2012, but unlike 2017 to 2021, Vladimir Putin sensed an American president would not or could not deter him, so he invaded a former Soviet republic. Under past presidents, Putin saw no downside to grabbing Ossetia, the Donbas, and Crimea.
Putin was also led to believe the West or Joe Biden would not challenge him following the recent humiliating U.S. withdrawal from Kabul. Biden’s unfortunate remark that a “minor” Russian invasion might not invoke a U.S. response did not help.Based on past experience, Putin saw no real obstacle to a quick victory.

Progressives like to talk about the ‘authoritarian Right’ as if it arrived from outer space in a red baseball cap. In reality, parties like AfD in Germany, Wilders’s PVV in the Netherlands, Le Pen’s National Rally in France, Meloni’s Brothers for Italy and Farage’s Reform in the UK are a delayed reaction to something that happened first.
They are what you get when a self-anointed elite decides to rewrite the moral software of Western civilisation, then calls anyone who objects a bigot.
Every civilisation runs on an operating system. In the West it is a messy yet effective fusion of Judeo-Christian ethics and Enlightenment rationalism.

While milquetoast Republicans experience a collective tummy ache over the “fairness” of mid-decade redistricting, Democrats nationally are feasting on power-grabbing gerrymanders.
The latest outflanking comes — not surprisingly — from Wisconsin’s liberal-controlled Supreme Court. Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Badger State’s court of last resort ordered the creation of judicial panels to hear two lawsuits seeking to undo Wisconsin’s existing congressional maps, in which six of eight House seats are held by Republicans. Interestingly, the district lines were drawn by a committee whose members were appointed by Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a far-left Democrat.

President Trump is obviously angered by inflation in health insurance, calling carriers “money sucking.”
Major benefit consultants including Aon and WTW are forecasting employer costs for providing coverage in 2026 will rise from 9.5% to 10.3%.
Economists worry that working Americans will suffer wage stagnation in a growing economy because higher premiums force employers to shift the costs of coverage to employees via higher deductibles and out-of-pocket payments.
This presents a smoldering political problem for the president as Zohran Mamdani’s win in New York City suggests “affordability” could become the watchword of a Democratic socialist midterm success.
The recent government shutdown was all about the affordability of health insurance.

The meeting underscores Qatar's apparent eagerness to play a central role in post-war Gaza. As a long-time supporter and funder of the Muslim Brotherhood organization, the Qatari regime's main goal seems to be ensuring that Hamas remains in power in the Gaza Strip. Hamas describes itself as "one of the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine."
One does not need to be an "expert" to understand that Qatar, despite its attempt to present itself as a neutral mediator between Israel and Hamas over the past two years, continues to be affiliated with the extremist ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

Team Trump is finally going straight for the pressure point nobody in the political class ever wants to talk about… remittances. And if the plan works the way it’s designed, the gravy train that’s been draining American communities for decades is about to go belly up. Before we get into the details of what President Trump wants to do and why, we need to talk about what “remittances” actually are. Because most Americans don’t realize just how massive this system is or how much of our economy has been very quietly bleeding out thanks to it.

The corporate media's obsession – or lack thereof, depending on who occupies the Oval Office – with presidential health is something to behold. They were entirely incurious about former President Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline and delighted in gaslighting the American public about it, but are at hair-on-fire alert levels when President Donald Trump sports a bruise or retains a little water. It's all deflection, of course. The media goes extra hard in demanding health transparency from President Trump's staff and medical team in the hopes we'll all just forget about the fact that so-called journalists spent four years running cover for a feeble old man who had no business

Swiss voters have rejected a tax on ultra wealthy residents and turned down a proposal to extend mandatory military service to women, initial poll results showed Sunday. Nearly 85% of voters rejected military or civic service for females, and 79% voted against a 50% inheritance tax for the most wealthy Swiss. The inheritance tax would have imposed the levy on individuals receiving a tax-free amount of 50 million Swiss Francs, or just over $62 million. The proposal, made by the youth wing of the leftist Social Democrats, would have directed the funds toward the nation's climate change mitigation efforts.

A long time ago, in 2006, my son Seth wrote an article ––Why I left the Left–– for RealClearPolitics.com.
When President George W. Bush’s “brain” Karl Rove read it, OMG he invited Seth to lunch at the White House! That was many years after I personally left the Left, but I couldn’t think of a more apt title for this article.
I’m not sure what motivates people to become politically active. In my case, it was reading and hearing and watching events and people who infuriated me, and what I learned about myself is that anger, at least in my case, is not only energizing, but mobilizing.

As December begins and 2025 nears an end, voters appear to be a lot happier with President Donald Trump than in recent months, with both his “favorability” and “approval” ratings climbing. Trump’s actions to promote peace abroad, build a stronger economy, and end the flow of illicit drugs across the U.S. border have struck a chord with average Americans.
As it does each month, the I&I/TIPP Poll leads off asking voters the following question about presidential leadership: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable, generally unfavorable, or are you not familiar enough to say one way or the other?”

When I learned about Ben Shapiro’s new book, Lions and Scavengers: The True Story of America (and Her Critics), I was skeptical about reading it. I wondered if it was going to be just another left versus right polemic, which describes books that I’ve read over the last couple of years.
Instead, Shapiro’s book was an insightful, comprehensive narrative about those who will fight for this country and their attributes. He also provided a brutal but accurate description of those people who not only want to destroy their political and ideological enemies but also destroy America in the process. The book was enlightening and disturbing.

As I have written before, I don’t know whether Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who shot two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C., killing at least one, is 1) a raving lunatic, 2) a devout Muslim–witnesses said that he shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he murdered Americans–or 3) a sucker who fell for Democratic Party talking points. The fact that it is hard to distinguish among these alternatives is revealing. In all likelihood, at least two of the foregoing categories apply.
More broadly, we can see that the Democrats’ war on law enforcement is succeeding. It has been focused mostly against America’s immigration laws, which Democrats hate but don’t have the votes to repeal.

It should be obvious even to the most obtuse Republican in the Senate that the Democrats will eventually regain another governing trifecta in Washington and will shortly thereafter nuke the legislative filibuster. They have pledged to do so in order to pass several pieces of controversial legislation, and would have done it already had it not been for West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema. Consequently, Senate Republicans should “nuke” the filibuster themselves if the Democrats attempt to shut down the government again next January 30, when the recently passed partial funding bill expires.
