For two generations, Bob’s family didn’t just work for FedEx; they were a part of the Collierville community that the company built. His father, a Collierville native, retired as a respected FedEx pilot. Bob followed him into the company, securing a white-collar technical role and the promise of the same stable, prosperous life in the town Parade magazine once named “Best Main Street” in America.
He remembers a different Collierville. A town of just over 10,000, where kids left their bikes unlocked outside the gas station and a trip to the store always meant running into someone you knew. “It was the type of community where…

From the article:
This article investigates the charge, leveled by current and former employees, that a new corporate strategy, one that funnels exclusive contracts to a network of Indian-run consulting firms, is dismantling the company’s celebrated “People First” culture and systematically reshaping its hometown, leaving long-time residents feeling like strangers in their own land. This despite Collierville being a deep red MAGA town that recently put on an extremely well-attended memorial service for Charlie Kirk, with GOP representation at both the state and federal congressional and executive levels of government.

I watched this happen first hand. We white males in IT were pushed out the door in favor of Indians. No one cared about us then. God bless Fred Smith.

How can this possibly be? Of course, this started under Biden's fraudulent administration. The current government, under Trump, may not have been in the position to counteract this travesty
This causes me concerns about how it would be under Vance's watch, considering his wife is Indian.

May I add that, although this is a very long piece, it is highly worth reading. You'll relate to just as much as you learn.

Most people don't realize it, but subcontinent Indians aren't just running cheap motels and Kwik-E-Marts. They're in charge of Microsoft, Google, IBM, Honeywell, Youtube, Adobe, Albertsons, Chanel, World Bank Group, and many other major US corporations. Not to mention all those H-1B visas. Do you think they all have pro-US politics? Are there no Americans to do those jobs? Search for something like "corporations with indian ceo" and prepare to be outraged.

A simple solution: no H1-B visas, no Indians.

So, FedEx is following the Disney model to run the business. Fire the American workers and bring in foreigners to replace them. I wouldn't be surprised if they had the American workers train the foreigners before they fired the U.S. employees.

This is how great companies are murdered, dismembered and the body parts sold off to the benefit of the thieves and scammers at the top.
There are few actual business builders any more. Much more common are corporate thieves and scrappers looking to sell the bones of once great corporations for personal profits and uninterested in anything but their own crooked gains.

Collierville sounds like the town I grew up in. The other shoe hasn't dropped yet. Watch FedEx shutdown its facility there and leave the town with no major source of income. The town will become a slum. Anyone capable of earning a living leaves.
There are literally hundreds (thousands?) of stories like this. Change the employer and a few details, but it's always the same story. It sounds like the town I grew up in. It sounds like my former employer. It sounds like so many other companies. There are so many stories.
This is what happens when looters are in charge. They don't invest in their own company. They milk it for everything it's worth leaving a dead shell behind.
The concept of employment is simple. One trades their services in return for compensation. Anything else (loyalty, security) is just words. The operative word is TRADE. The services and compensation must be of EQUAL value. When they aren't equal, the employee (or the employer) has just been shorted and employment is not working like it should.
In the end, employment is just about providing for ones family. A roof over their head. Food on their plates. Education. Transportation. Toys.

No White Folks need apply. Barry Obozo's 'transformation' in action. Most people might think this is just about 'cutting corners' financially. That's just the cover story.

Once the multi-family housing goes in, get out.
Indians, again.
