The upcoming elections in Virginia have been more than a little wild to watch. Because they're off-year elections, there's not a whole lot else going on, so there is always a significant amount of attention on what's happening in the Old Dominion State. I kind of follow it anyway since I spent most of my Navy career there, and Cam lives there, so you know he's paying attention, but a lot of others are watching too. That's likely because many see Virginia as a bellwether for the midterm elections. The fact that the Democrats' attorney general candidate has turned out to be a complete and total trainwreck has certainly made

Virginia is not a bellwether, being similar to most other states who are mostly conservative by geography but have one area of concentrated infestation of leftist loons who usually work for the government.

There is no referendum on the 2nd. Opinions are one thing but no vote can take it away. People who oppose Earle-Sears do it for one reason - she's a Conservative black woman.

The current Republican Virginia governor vetoed 30 anti-gun bills passed by the Democrat-majority legislature. Those bills will be signed into law by a Democrat governor if re-enacted by the Democrat General Assembly. Virginians face a 2nd Amendment nightmare if the Democrat candidate is elected by the liberal/socialists of Northern Virginia and Soros money.

The King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD) has not only admitted to breaking state laws by hiring nearly three dozen illegal migrants as corrections officers, but has also pledged to fight the state law preventing such hiring. In a statement to The Jason Rantz Show, DAJD said: All are fully trained as corrections officers and authorized to work in the United States. King County is committed to safety and the fair treatment of these officers and continues to work closely with the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC). We are keeping all available avenues of relief open at this time. The jail’s allegedly illegal hiring practices came to light

Mark Bashaw, the only member of the Armed Forces to be court-martialed for refusing to take the COVID shot, has been reinstated to the U.S. Army, promoted as if he'd never been discharged, and awarded back pay. Making the victory sweeter is the fact that he was prosecuted by none other than current Virginia congressman, then Colonel Yevgeny Semyonovich Vindman, the brother of Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandr Semyonovich Vindman, of Trump impeachment fame. Bashaw, a former USAF noncommissioned officer, had been commissioned into the Army's Medical Service Corps and was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was charged in February 2022 with three counts of “failure to obey lawful orders.”

President Donald Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services is cleaning up the Biden administration regulation so that it is in compliance with the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits taxpayer funding for abortions, HHS officials told The Daily Signal. “HHS is reviewing the relevant regulations and guidance

A media shop affiliated with a radical preacher in Dearborn, Mich., recently published a 39-minute video celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination as a "praiseworthy action" that Muslims across the United States should celebrate and repeat. The call to violence has raised red flags with Trump administration officials as they seek to deport foreign terrorist sympathizers and combat radicalism across the nation. "The Fate of Charlie Kirk: The Insulter of the Messenger [Prophet Muhammad] and His Ruling According to Islam" was published on Oct. 10 by the English-language media outlet Project Guiding Light, a radical content mill affiliated with "pro-Islamic State" preacher Ahmad Musa Jibril, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute

New York Attorney General Letitia James reportedly pleaded not guilty Friday in a Virginia court to two charges of federal bank fraud. The judge set a trial date of Jan. 26, 2026. "Not guilty judge to both counts," James reportedly said in the hearing at the federal Eastern District of Virginia court. The Justice Department indicted James earlier this month, alleging that she misrepresented how she would use a house she bought in 2020 in Norfolk, southeast Virginia, so she could obtain a lower interest rate on her mortgage, CBS News reported.

Like two ships passing in the night, proponents and opponents of H1-B visas can’t see the forest through the trees. The void of American workers for qualified H‑1B positions was really caused by the ever-increasing scale and relaxed requirements of F‑1 student visas, and universities depending on international enrollment to balance budgets. Admissions at leading public institutions like Georgia Tech have become as competitive as elite private universities, yet a material share of limited undergraduate seats increasingly goes to non‑U.S. students who can pay full tuition and additional fees. The federal government issued approximately 401,000 new F‑1 visas in FY 2024, and there are about 1.1 million international students currently

Two national public employee unions sued the Trump administration over its restrictions preventing illegal immigrants from obtaining commercial drivers licenses. The American Federation of Teachers and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees filed a petition for review against the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The employee unions challenged a rule implemented by Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy restricting foreign individuals from receiving commercial drivers licenses. Commercial drivers licenses are used for operating large vehicles such as tractor-trailers and buses. Nineteen states and the District of Columbia allow unauthorized immigrants to receive commercial drivers licenses.

HOUSTON, Texas — A Union Pacific railroad employee reported the discovery of a brush fire near a storage facility along an interstate highway in Houston. The grim discovery of a man found hanging and partially burned beneath a Houston freeway Thursday night has drawn chilling parallels to cartel-style executions long documented by Breitbart’s Cartel Chronicles Project in northern Mexico, where bodies are often displayed in public as a message. While Houston police have not confirmed any connection to organized crime, investigators say the circumstances strongly suggest homicide,
