Recent classified documents indicate that people close to former FBI Director James Comey and Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff were connected to leaks of classified information to prominent reporters designed to portray Donald Trump and his allies as being in league with Russia. Written in 2017, the FBI documents expose how selected Washington reporters, including Ellen Nakashima of the Washington Post and Michael Schmidt of the New York Times, scored a series of Pulitzer Prize-winning scoops in 2017 by repeating false and inflammatory leaks during President Trump's first term.

Maybe I’m different because my parents taught me to be honest. If I were the recipient of a prize for writing lies, I would neither publish the lies nor accept the prize. Journalism should value the truth. Nothing matters more.

The Pulitzer committee or whomsoever issues these prizes had better check this out and ask for the return of their awards. Their credibility is in jeopardy although they are known lefties anyway, to award prizes for stories written by "journalists" known for kissing the ass of scum like Adam Schiff is not a good representation for their award.

Providence, R.I. - The federal judge who ordered President Trump to continue paying food-stamp benefits owes his fortune to cigarettes and Democratic political ties forged in Rhode Island. During the confirmation process in 2011, U.S. District Judge John J. McConnell Jr. disclosed that he would collect $2.5 million to $3.5 million per year in fees through 2024 for his role in helping to negotiate the $240 million national tobacco settlement in 1998.

The biggest development coming out of Charlie Kirk's murder last week is that this time the gun isn't to blame. This time, "social media" did it. On Sunday, the New York Times published an idiotic op-ed to that effect by Nathan Taylor Pemberton, who "writes about extremism," and whose last article for The Nation was presciently titled: "Why The Right Fantasizes About Death and Destruction." So we know he's a fair broker.

Harry Reid, the former Democrat leader of the U.S. Senate, left the Senate in 2017 and died in 2021, but his ghost must still be haunting the chamber. How else can one explain why the Republican majority is continuing the blockade Reid initiated back in 2007 to prevent a Republican President (George W. Bush) from using recess appointments to get around the various roadblocks Reid put in place to delay confirming Bush's nominees?

The Democrats are now implacably self-destructive. They resemble nothing so much as a slowly capsizing ship, but show by their frenzied skullduggery that America is not in decline -- the opposition is rotten and hopeless but it still fights savagely. I hope readers will pardon a recitation of the party's gradual floundering. They pushed the nation into Vietnam, mismanaged the war, and deserted their own president (Lyndon Johnson), and when President Nixon saved their war, they crucified him on what can now be seen as the utterly absurd Watergate nonsense.

A longtime aide to former President Joe Biden admitted that the White House staff felt justified doing 'undemocratic things' because they believed President Donald Trump posed an existential threat to American democracy. The revelation came during an appearance by Axios reporter Alex Thompson on “Fox News Sunday” with Shannon Bream, where he discussed insider accounts from his reporting on the Biden administration. Thompson described a mindset inside the White House — one in which unelected aides saw themselves as the real decision makers while shielding Biden from scrutiny and managing the presidency behind the scenes

What’s happening in New York right now has a lot of Americans on edge, and rightfully so. A massive group of Muslims gathered and publicly claimed the city for Islam. People who watched it unfold aren’t being “bigots” for feeling uneasy. They’re watching their country’s biggest city slip further from the culture that built it, just days after electing a Marxist mayor. As Scott Jennings says, good luck, New York… A mayor who believes criminals are the “real victims” and police are the oppressors. This issue is about assimilation, or the lack of it. Ford is considering scrapping the electric version of its F-150 pickup — once billed as the future of American trucks — after racking up billions in losses and watching demand collapse. Executives are in active talks about axing the money-losing F-150 Lightning altogether, sources told the Wall Street Journal, in what could become the first major casualty of America’s faltering electric vehicle revolution. The Lightning, launched with fanfare in 2021 and hailed by CEO Jim Farley as a ‘smartphone that can tow,’ was supposed to mark a new era for Ford. President Joe Biden even took one for a spin, calling it ‘quick as hell.’ But the hype faded fast.

There it was this morning, plain as day. It was a screenshot of a woman going off about how her food stamps were cut off, the $1,000 per month she and her family supposedly get from the government, juxtaposed against her being called out by someone else for hair extensions, expensive trips to the nail salon, and tattoos. In short, she wastes money on unnecessary things and then demands money from the government to support herself. She's squandering money on luxuries while relying on the taxpayers to fund her groceries for anywhere between four and seven people in her household. And worse, there's no sense of shame among many of these people.

That is now the experiment New York City residents asked for. As GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04) explained: Zohran Mamdani’s victory marks the BIGGEST WIN FOR destructive, dangerous, big government SOCIALISM in U.S. history — and a loss for freedom loving American people. The White House has asked a federal appeals court to issue an emergency block, after a federal judge ruled on Thursday that the administration would have to pay full Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) payments in full amid the longest government shutdown in United States history. Judge Jack McConnell of the U.S. District Court in Rhode Island rejected the Trump administration’s request to pay only 65 percent of SNAP benefits this month. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has a $5 billion contingency fund for emergencies like the Schumer Shutdown, but that amount falls short of the $8.5 to $9 billion needed to fully fund monthly SNAP payments.
