The Supreme Court issued a ruling blocking an order from a federal judge that required the Trump administration to pay full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for November.
The decision from the Supreme Court came after the Trump administration requested that U.S. District Judge John McConnell’s order that the administration dish out full SNAP benefits by Friday be blocked, according to the Associated Press.

In New Jersey, the Democrats won a yuge race for governor. Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), despite being a terrible candidate according to normal candidate metrics, beat Republican Jack Ciattarelli 56.3 percent to 43.2 percent.
My prediction was totally off here, as I assumed that the Republican nominee would win a narrow majority or plurality. In this race, Democrats broke a historical trend going back to 1961,
Something strange happened in New Jersey on election night, and the numbers just don't add up. Zohran Mamdani, a lunatic-fringe leftist, won election as mayor of New York by addressing the cost of living and making Hugo Chavez-like promises of free goodies for all.
