On Monday night, U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani ordered the Trump administration to break the law, ignore a Supreme Court order, and give Planned Parenthood money that is not authorized by Congress. In fact, Congress said don't give Planned Parenthood money. (snip.) Need I sat this power-mad Judge Doom is an Obama appointee? Well, she is. The Big Beautiful Bill is now the law. (snip.) A few months ago I needed to send an email. But when I opened Microsoft Outlook something had changed. Microsoft asked me to use Copilot to write my email. Copilot is my AI companion. (snip.) Hey I don't want a companion -- especially not a fake AI buddy. And what about the people receiving my emails? They don't want this either. (snip.) Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessell has dropped all charges against seven pro-Palestinian demonstrators arrested last year on the University of Michigan Diag. The seven were facing misdemeanor charges of trespassing as well as felony charges of resisting and obstructing police. Florida cannot enforce a new law that would bar illegal immigrants from entering the Sunshine State, the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday.
“The application for stay presented to Justice Thomas and by him referred to the Court is denied,” read the order rejecting Florida’s emergency appeal to the high court.

CONCORD, N.H. — A federal judge in New Hampshire issued a ruling Thursday prohibiting President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship from taking effect anywhere in the U.S.
Judge Joseph LaPlante issued a preliminary injunction blocking Trump’s order and certified a class action lawsuit including all children who will be affected. The order, which followed an hour-long hearing, included a seven-day stay to allow for appeal.
The judge’s decision puts the birthright citizenship issue on a fast track to return to the Supreme Court. The justices could be asked to rule whether the order complies with their decision last month that limited judges’ authority

It started after Alpha News received an email about LaVon “Vonnie” Phillips. A search of the state directory website shows Phillips listed as a “Human Resources Director 1” for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). State records also indicate that Phillips earns six-figures and is paid $55.45 per hour. The tipster raised concerns about Phillips and claimed his social media page is “littered with racist comments about ‘white folk.’”
