Some Thoughts on the Assassination of
Charlie Kirk

Original Article

If by chance you were unaware of Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University this week, he was a very articulate debater who treated respectfully those who debated him. He espoused views which were perfectly normal, a defender of the West, Israel, and Christianity, enlightenment views which matched those of the Founders and are encapsulated in the Constitution. You may see videos of his debates on the internet. He was skillful at it and had thousands of young followers. Indeed, many consider his successful work a big factor in youth support for the President.

Clarice is always a must read, and this is no exception. Longer than her usual column but worth the read. Woke delenda est.

Thus the mental health crisis in America worsens amongst the left. While I doubt that the firings will cause much remorse among them, taking away what they view as their bully pulpit may encourage some return to civility. Because otherwise the loss of civility within a sovereign nation usually results in the end of that nation.

I saw a wonderful cartoon on Lucianne...it showed Charlie and Jesus arm and arm running in a field...it was perfect because that's where Charlie is now...I'm sure with no regrets but missing his wife and children....sometimes a perfect "fit" happens along our way...like Charlie and our President Trump...give the families strength.....to endure the DC swamp.....

I always read Clarice first thing Sunday morning. Today's article makes only one general point, and it's an essential one: the current tolerance and instigation of political violence in the USA was initiated by Obama. The Left continues to countenance and justify that violence against Jews, Christians, and the Right Wing. It is remarkable how the Leftists have tried--unsuccessfully so far--to blame the assassination of Charlie Kirk on the Right Wing. Now, with news that the disturbed 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been living with a "furry" trans individual, and much testimony from Robinson's family and friends that Tyler has become increasingly politically leftist and furiously anti-Trump and anti-Kirk, we know the source of his inspiration for the assassination.

Clarice says we should hold the left accountable. The left see themselves as believing and supporting all the wonderful things the 1960s hippies with "flowers in their hair" dreamed of - The Age of Aquarius. As J.K. Rowling is quoted in Clarices' article (below), the left says they believe in free speech, are not hidebound traditionists, so they are willing to change their beliefs, believe that governmental control is bad and you should be able to freely "Speak Truth to Power." “If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist. If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian. If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.” So let's use Rowling's words to call them accountable. Remind them continually that they are illeberal, fundamentalist, totalitarian and/or terrorists. Do this as appropriate with backup info, i.e. as Guthrie described with "twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us." Do not let them think they are the hippies. Let them know that we know, that they are the people the hippies thought they were opposing.

FTA: Obama most certainly was a key architect of what Michael Shellenberger calls “an entire malignant culture that made political violence inevitable.” Clarice had a lot to say today and passionately. She sees Charlie Kirk's assassiination as part of a national illness inflicted by the left and their lapdog medIa. Do read this.

The race to jump off the cliff is on, as top New York Democrats line up like so many lemmings to back Zohran Mamdani. Spare me the expressions of shock. It was only a matter of time until they all fell in line. Being an elected Dem means accepting the rule that thinking for yourself is not allowed. Following orders in the name of party unity is the price of admission. The appearance of a wall of resistance against Mamdani because of his radical positions was shattered when Gov. Hochul waved a white flag and backed the antisemitic, cop-hating socialist. The Post report that Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie -

All last year, we were treated to a steady stream of stories about the “huge” and “baffling” gap between the public’s negative views about the economy and its “actual performance.” Our favorite “economist” Paul Krugman was apoplectic. “Why are so many Americans still telling pollsters that the economy is in bad shape” when “it’s hard to overstate just how good recent economic numbers have been.” Last week, the government issued two reports that explain why. And the reason is simple. The experts were wrong. The public was right. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, after a string of glaring mistakes in its jobs report, announced the mother of all screw-ups.

Some Brazilian historians now count 14 coup attempts in the republic’s 136 years. Some have been successful, including the one that installed a military dictatorship between 1964-1985. But only the latest, which a Supreme Court panel ruled was orchestrated by former President Jair Bolsonaro, ended with prison sentences for its leaders, instigators and supporters, many of whom are already behind bars. To a large extent, the unprecedented outcome is the result of one man’s drive. Supreme Court justice Alexandre de Moraes, the judge who spearheaded the case, has become a hero to some Brazilians and a zealot to others. In Brazil he is better known as “Xandão,” or “Big Alex” in Portuguese.

Ivermectin's Surprising Potential Against Cancer 11 replies

There is a safe and inexpensive cure for many types of cancer that is apparently being ignored by medical industrial complex and media. One possible reason why is because this new treatment protocol includes ivermectin (IVM). During the pandemic the use of this so-called “horse dewormer” was vigorously attacked by legacy media and banned as a COVID-19 treatment by the Biden administration’s FDA and CDC. India used it and had 10 times fewer deaths. Perhaps admitting that IVM worked would be embarrassing. During the pandemic many courageous doctors were fired for questioning the government-mandated COVID-19 treatment protocol or warning of the dangerous mRNA vaccine side effects.

At long last, the guardians of traditional finance have admitted the obvious: the future of securities lies on-chain. Nasdaq’s application to the SEC to list and trade tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded products is not a gimmick. It is the most significant step Wall Street has taken toward legitimizing the digital infrastructure that crypto builders have been perfecting for over a decade. For years, tokenization was dismissed as a fever dream of crypto maximalists. Now the world’s second-largest exchange wants in. Nasdaq’s plan is deliberately cautious. Tokenized securities will carry the same CUSIPs, the same voting rights, and the same dividend streams as their paper-era counterparts.

Four hundred and twenty genocide scholars, survivors, and experts signed a statement affirming that Hamas, not Israel, is guilty of the crime of genocide. The experts also criticized their fellow scholars who falsely accused Israel of genocide in Gaza. Scholars for Truth About Genocide (STAG) condemned the inaccurate accusations of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) against Israel. While IAGS asserted Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, STAG explained why this is false. “Genocide is the gravest offense known to humankind; to dilute its legal standards for ideological ends is a form of moral violence,” STAG declared.

Last month marked the collapse of China’s Evergrande, once the world’s most indebted developer with $300 billion in liabilities. The real estate sector remains a debt bubble, fueled by roughly $695 billion in new government-approved loans. While the property crisis has been widely reported, the broader scale of China’s debt problem is less understood. Official figures show that public and private debt combined already exceed 309% of GDP, yet even this number understates the true scope. When other sources of leverage are factored in, such as margin trading, shadow banking through wealth management products, and off-balance-sheet local government borrowing, China’s total debt burden climbs to at least 400 percent of GDP.

There's bias in the media, and then there's next-level, full-throated love of the most extreme parts of the leftist movement, as exhibited by ABC News reporter Matt Gutman. Gutman, as many are aware, went on an unhinged romanticization of text messages revealed by Charlie Kirk's assassin to his love interest, where he seemingly admitted to and attempted to justify his actions. The reporter thoroughly embarrassed himself with the gushing sentiments. He felt the need to highlight the "duality" of a deranged killer and how he spoke "so lovingly" to his partner. As President Donald Trump tries to force Lisa Cook out of her job at the Federal Reserve, her lawyers have pointed to a similar event in history — one where the president lost at the Supreme Court. On October 7, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt fired William E. Humphrey from his post at the Federal Trade Commission. The reason was purely political: The president wanted someone who could advance his priorities.. "I do not feel that your mind and my mind go along together," Roosevelt told Humphrey in a letter. His term at the FTC was supposed to last until 1938. When Humphrey refused to resign, Roosevelt fired him.
